Grandchildren are currently vying for the ability to bake the cookies “most like Grandma's.”

After retirement, Jeanette and Beany enjoyed playing the banjo and violin in bluegrass groups. They traveled to bluegrass events in the Midwest and entertained locally. Retirement also gave them more time to visit in their children's homes. Participation in the farming and fishing in the pond were highlights.
