and prayed for every member. She studied the scriptures and participated in
Bible studies. Her passion was for all people to know Jesus as Savior. She wrote
letters and spoke to people whom God brought to her mind. Coral believed in the
power of prayer and in the power of personal evangelism. Her Godly life is an
example for her family and friends.
Coral had the gift of hospitality.
Oftentimes she opened their home to guests, and they left being encouraged. She
was well-known as a great cook and baker. Many enjoyed her cinnamon rolls,
dinner buns and pies. Coral’s generosity was delivered in the form of meals and
delicious goodies to grateful friends, family and acquaintances. In addition to
her excellence in the kitchen, Coral enjoyed gardening, canning and freezing
produce, and sewing. These were all enjoyed because Coral was such a caregiver
and desired to provide for her family. These things were all done with a heart
full of love.
Coral is dearly loved, and she is being affectionately
remembered. She is greatly missed, and we anticipate the day when we will join
her in heaven. Those who are left to honor Coral’s memory are her husband of 64
years, Kenneth of Radcliffe; son, Gale and Elaine Severson of Strawberry Point;
daughters, Beth and Jerry Dodd of Brooklyn, Iowa, Mary and Rick Redburn of
Oregon and Marcia and Dan Hormig of Windom, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; brother, Jens and Lee Anna Klatt of Ames; sisters, Darlene
and Art Martin of Miles City, Montana and Maurine Hemphill of Ellsworth; and many
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and great-grandson, Dysen Rusher.
