IOWA FALLS—Beverly J. Hon, 77, of Iowa Falls, passed away on
Thursday, March 1, 2007, at the Ellsworth Municipal
Hospital, Iowa Falls.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 8, at the
Bethany Lutheran Church, with burial in the Friends
Cemetery, both in Iowa Falls. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa
Falls Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
Beverly Jane McDaniels, was born on December 11, 1929 at Des
Moines, the daughter of Harry Leslie and Lucille Helen (Hendershot)
McDaniels. She attended the Des Moines Grade Schools and Des
Moines Technical High School.
On August 9, 1946, Bev was united in marriage to Robert
Lewis Hon at Wichita, Kansas. To this union seven children
were born, Linda, Sherrie, Robert, Kenneth, Jerry, Becky and
Elizabeth. The couple later divorced. She was employed as an
elevator operator for the state of Iowa, and as a cook for
many years for the West Park Care Center, West Des Moines.
She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls.
Beverly J. Hon is survived by her children, Linda (Gene)
Andrews of Willis, Texas, Sherrie (Ron) Brown of West Point,
Robert (Lois) Hon of Rio Linda, California, Kenneth Hon of
Iowa Falls, Jerry Hon of Odessa, Texas, Becky (Bob) Wallace
of Alden and Elizabeth Heath of Iowa Falls; 24
grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; one sister, Marion Subdon of West
Des Moines; and two brothers, Mac McDaniels of Los Banos,
California and Jim Rucker of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lucille
McDaniels; and one sister, Colleen Boyer.

ELDORA—Earl H. Aman, 87,
of Eldora, formerly of San Luis, Colorado, died from natural
causes on Friday, March 2, 2007, at the Eldora Nursing and
Rehab Center.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at a
later date in Algona. The Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora
is handling the local arrangements.

WILLIAMS—Bernice K. Jaynes, 90, of Williams, died on Sunday,
March 4, 2007, at the Southfield Wellness Community in
Webster City.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., on
Thursday, March 8, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Williams, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation
will be from 5-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the St. Mary’s
Catholic Church with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Surls
Funeral Home of Williams is in charge of the arrangements.
Bernice Butler Jaynes, was born on June 29, 1916 at
Blairsburg, the daughter of Jim and Mayme (Smith) Butler.
She attended the Williams Public Schools graduating in 1934.
She married Earl Jaynes on December 31, 1939, at the St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Williams.
She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Williams, St. Anne’s Study Club, American Legion Auxiliary
and Williams Development.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Thompson of Des
Moines; three grandchildren, Steve and Dave Thompson of Des
Moines and Janae Learned of Scottsdale, Arizona; one
great-grandson, Connor Jaynes; three brothers, Kelly Butler
and wife, Barbara of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jerry Doyle and
wife, Shirley of Kentwood, Michigan and Bob Doyle and wife,
Gail of Webster City; and one sister, Betty Junewick of
Kentwood, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a
son, Tom; and a brother, Morris.

DES MOINES—Art Haege, 69,
formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away on Monday, March 5,
2007, at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, from a large
rupture within the wall of his aortic artery.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 7, at the
Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Art was serving as
the Arkansas Twisters defensive coordinator and had
previously worked for the Iowa Barnstormers.
Haege is survived by his four sons, Frank, Danny, Matt and
Michael.

IOWA FALLS—Alberta Walsh, 87, of Iowa Falls, passed away on
Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Scenic Manor Care Facility,
Iowa Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday,
March 10, at the First Baptist Church, Iowa Falls, with the
Rev. David Schwechel officiating. Burial will be in the
Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Memorials may be directed to the
First Baptist Church, 521 Rocksylvania Ave., Iowa Falls, IA
50126. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been
entrusted with the arrangements.
Alberta Louise Kennedy, was born on February 21, 1920 at Des
Moines, the daughter of Albert and Delia Myrtle (Woodyard)
Kennedy. She graduated from the Iowa Falls High School with
the class of 1938, and Ellsworth Junior College, Iowa Falls
with the class of 1940.
On June 21, 1942, Alberta was united in marriage to Dallas
U. Walsh in Eldora. Alberta and Dallas were owners of the
Cly-Dal Clothes Shop and then Walshmen Clothiers, Iowa
Falls. She was a very active member of the First Baptist
Church, Iowa Falls, as well as the Isabella Literary Society
and PEO. She was known for her bird and flower slide shows
with pictures by Dallas.
Alberta Walsh is survived by her son, Larry (Dot) Walsh of
Salem, Oregon; her daughter, Cindy (Dud) Bonte of
Martinsville, Indiana; three grandsons, Monty (Kim) Walsh of
Salem, Troy (Kathleen) of Athens, Ohio and Tyrone (Amy)
Bonte of Maple Valley, Washington; a granddaughter-in-law,
Julie (Lance) Elmquist of Ankeny; and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Delia
Kennedy; her husband, Dallas Walsh; a grandson, Steve Walsh;
and two brothers, Robert Kennedy and Dick Kennedy.

ELDORA—Albert C.W. Ziesman, 87, of Eldora, died on
Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his residence, while under the
care of North Iowa Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday,
March 12, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eldora, with
Pastor David Splett officiating. Burial will follow in the
Eastlawn Memory Garden Cemetery in Eldora, with full
military rites provided by the Walter-Sayer Post 182 of the
American Legion and Roll-Harless Post 3974 of the VFW.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11, from 3-6:00 p.m., at
the Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora, where the family
will be present to greet friends. Memorials may be directed
to the Good Shepherd Preschool of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
in Eldora.
Albert Carl William Ziesman, was born on January 22, 1920,
at home on the farm in rural Eldora, Iowa-Pleasant Township,
the son of Arnold Reinhold and Clara Alvina (Jass) Ziesman.
He attended the Goose Greek School No. 4. Albert served his
country in the U.S. Army Air Force-First Service Squadron as
a mechanic. He served during World War II from October 23,
1941, until he was honorably discharged on October 23, 1945.
On August 18, 1946, Albert was united in marriage to Irene
Balvanz at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eldora. After
their marriage, they began farming. Albert farmed in Hardin
County all of his life.
He had been an active member of the Hardin County Farm
Bureau, serving several years, including terms as president
and voting delegate. He was a lifetime member of the Walter-Sayer
Post 182 of the American Legion, and a member of the First
Service Squadron of the Army Air Force Veteran’s Group.
Albert had also served as company manager of Archer Oil for
more than 40 years. He was a longtime member of the New
Providence-Pleasant Community Fund. Albert was also a
lifetime member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eldora,
where he had served as Sunday School Superintendent, church
treasurer and an usher.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Ziesman of Eldora; one
daughter, Linda Kruger and husband, Eldon of Holland; one
son, Roger Ziesman and wife, Sharon of Eldora; one
grandchild; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
nine step-great-grandchildren; and three
step-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Lange of
Adel and Reba Wehrman of Valparaiso, Indiana; two brothers,
Edward Ziesman and wife, Ione of Eldora and Melvin Nehring
and wife, Joyce of St. Charles; one sister-in-law, Marlene
Ziesman of Eldora; and one brother-in-law, Herman Lange of
Eldora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter
Ziesman; and one brother-in-law, Wendell Wehrman.

GENEVA—Marie Josephine Voy, 92, of Geneva, passed away on
Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the Franklin General Hospital
Hospice Unit, Hampton, after a short struggle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday,
March 12, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, with
burial in the Lindenwood Cemetery in Geneva. Visitation will
be from 2-5:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the Sietsema-Vogel
Funeral home in Hampton.
Marie was born on December 30, 1914 in Geneva, to Henry G.
and Freda R. (Miller) Siems. She attended school at the
Geneva Consolidated Schools graduating in 1932. Marie was
married to Robert R. Voy on September 30, 1932 in Sioux
Falls, South Dakota.
She was a member of the Goodwill Club, served as a 4-H
Leader, and volunteered with the Red Cross and Hospital
Auxiliary. She was on the board of directors of the Franklin
County Work Activity Center.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Eunice and husband,
Gerald Helmke of Iowa Falls; grandson, David and wife, Suzan
Helmke of Hampton; grandson, Steve Helmke of Iowa Falls;
sister, Dorothy and husband, Kenneth Harper of Dumont;
great-grandsons, Jordan and wife, Brandi Helmke, Joshua
Helmke, and Colin Helmke; and great-great-grandson, Kyle
Helmke.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in
1985; and four sisters, Esther Muessigman, Edith Horner,
Lena Silver and Sena Ibeling.

LIME SPRINGS-Doris Ann Sinning, 74, of Lime Springs, died on
Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in
Rochester, Minnesota.
The funeral for Doris Sinning was held on Saturday, March
10, at the Saratoga Presbyterian Church in Saratoga. Burial
will be in the spring in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lime
Springs.
Doris Ann Polley, was born on April 5, 1932 in Eldora, the
daughter of C.W. and Esther Polley of Iowa Falls. Doris
graduated from the Owasa High School. She worked at the
hospital in Eldora for four years.
On May 9, 1952, she married Floyd Sinning at the Berlin
Community Church, near Eldora. She worked as a farm wife
most of her life while rearing her family. She volunteered
much of her time at the Saratoga Presbyterian Church. Doris
was a 4-H Leader for more then 25 years, and enjoyed sewing,
making quilts, baking, cooking, and collecting cardinals and
bells.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Sinning of Lime
Springs; four sons, Dennis (Cathy) of Eldridge, Roger
(Janet) of Kasson, Mark (Pam) of Mantorville and Larry of
Gillette, Wyoming; three daughters, Ann (Hubert) Rossol of
Denver, Iowa, Norma (Charles) Kenning of Racine, Wisconsin
and Karla (Ron) Kenning of Eagan, Minnesota; 11
grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Wilma
(Clarence) Terveer of Hubbard and Emma (Wendall) Hoekstra of
Owasa; and one brother, Charles (Irene) Polley of
Marshalltown.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings,
brothers Don and Harlan and twin siblings in infancy; and a
grandson, Kevin.

MASON CITY—Cheryl L. Deike, 61, of Mason City, died on
Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Good Shepherd Health Center,
Mason City.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 12, at the
Christian Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dennis Ganz
officiating. Interment was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. The
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel in Clear Lake was in charge
of the arrangements.
Cheryl was born on August 11, 1945 in Mason City, the
daughter of Ellsworth and Mary Elizabeth (Keeney) Helm.
Cheryl attended school at Popejoy and graduated from the
Alden High School in 1963, then attended Upper Iowa College
at Fayette. She worked at Mercy Hospital as an aide.
Cheryl married Roger Deike on September 23, 1967 in Mason
City, and they lived in the Clear Lake area. Cheryl and
Roger raised two children. She enjoyed attending school
activities and sporting events. She was always in the
stands, cheering on her two children and many “extra”
children. She was a second mother to many.
Cheryl loved her dogs, reading, gardening, fishing and
camping with her family, rides in the country, and watching
her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Roger Deike of Mason
City; her two children, Joyce Deike and husband, Scott Smed
of Mason City and Mark Deike and wife, Jodi of Iowa City,
and their three children, Elisabeth, Katie and Sam Deike;
her father, Ellsworth Helm of Popejoy; two sisters, Carol
(Tom) Vanderloop and Becky (Carroll) Kalous, both of Alden;
sisters and brothers-in-laws, Fonda Hickethier of Alden, Don
(Carol) Deike of Clear Lake, Lola (Frank) Barrick of Center
Point, Jim (Mildred) Deike of Greene, Leroy (Lois) Deike of
Mason City, Waneta (Ray) Leege of Odebolt, Marlin (Diane)
Deike of Mason City, Evonne (Dale) Lents of Winterset and Al
(Sue) Deike of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Mary “Betty”
Helm; step-mother, Eva Helm; step-brother, Marlyn Hickethier;
and two infant nieces.

ACKLEY—Ernest Hofmeister, 85, of Ackley, died on Friday,
March 9, 2007, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in
Iowa Falls.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 13, at the St.
Peter’s UCC, rural Geneva, with burial in the church
cemetery. The Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley was in charge
of the arrangements.
Ernest Carl Hofmeister, was born on June 2, 1921 on the
family farm, rural Geneva, the son of William and Pauline (Benning)
Hofmeister. He was baptized on July 17, 1921, by the Rev.
Theo J. Storck, and his sponsors were Uncle Henry and Emma
Benning. He was confirmed in 1936 by the Rev. Carl Jankowsky.
He attended country and Ackley schools.
He was united in marriage to Marian Reinke on January 20,
1942, at the Methodist Parsonage in Geneva, by the Rev.
George Gaide. Ernest farmed, did custom farm work, was a
carpenter, woodworker and a carver.
He was a member of the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ,
rural Geneva, where he was on the Church Bowling League,
Church Council as Treasurer for six years, Church
Brotherhood, helped with the construction of the church in
1954 and other numerous carpentry projects at church. He was
a 4-H Leader of the Geneva Haymakers.
He enjoyed playing bridge and the Neighborhood Card Club.
His No. 1 love was spending time with his family, children,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Marian of Ackley; three
sons, Dennis and wife, Georgia of Ackley, Douglas and wife,
Nancy of Ackley and Dallas and wife, Pat of Geneva; 10
grandchildren, Barry and wife, Tammy, Niesha and husband,
Dan, Brandon and wife, Kris, Blake, Michelle and husband,
Justin, Chad, Jennifer, Clarissa, Adrienne, and Dillin; five
great-grandchildren, Sully, Tate and Shaylee Hofmeister, and
Morgan and Zachary Muller; two step-great-grandchildren,
Jessica and Morgan Keene; a brother, Howard Hofmeister of
Elgin, Illinois; and a sister, Ruth Oelmann of Ackley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William
Hofmeister; a sister, Alma Abbas; and an infant son, Dwight.

a later date in the Sandy Hook Cemetery in Brighton. The
Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls was in charge of the
arrangements.
Ginger Kay Telutki, was born on March 7, 1944 in Clinton,
the daughter of William Kelley and Dorothy Farrier-Utech.
She attended elementary school at Buckeye, three years of
high school in Iowa Falls, and graduated in Pekin.
Ginger was united in marriage to John Telutki on March 21,
1964, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of the Ellis
United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls.
Ginger is survived by her three daughters, Michele Denise
Telutki-Stricker of Pearl City, Illinois, Stephanie Virginia
Telutki of Waterloo and Nicole Susanne Brown of Cypress,
Texas; a son, John Paul Telutki of Rockton, Illinois; six
grandchildren; her mother, Dorothy Utech of Williams; a
brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Maggie Utech of Williams;
an aunt, Lois Cady of Tucson, Arizona; a cousin, Pam Sheets
of Tucson; and in-laws, John and Edie Gabcik of Wheaton,
Illinois.
She was preceded in death by John Telutki; grandparents,
Edgar and Anita Farrier; brother, Gale W. Utech;
step-grandparents, Irene and Louis Utech; and step-father,
Donald Utech.

10, 2007, at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 13, at the St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Ackley, with burial in the church
cemetery. The Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley was in charge
of the arrangements.
Eleanor Mary Limback Roth, was born on April 23, 1909 in
Dyersville, the daughter of Harry N. and Bertha Elizabeth (Esch)
Limback. She graduated from the St. Francis Academy in
Dyersville and had a degree in English from the Iowa State
Teachers College.
Eleanor was united in marriage to Charles E. Roth on
December 27, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois. She ran the
pharmacy at Roth Rexall Drug in Ackley. She was a member of
the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Altar Society,
and was on the St. Mary’s School Board.
Eleanor is survived by her four children, Thomas Roth and
wife Carolyn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Charlene Reysack
of Ackley, Cathy Fenchel and husband, Robert of Dubuque and
David Roth and wife, Diana of Alexandria, Virginia; 11
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles;
two brothers, Harry and Emil Limback; and two sisters,
Clarice Limback and Catherine Vaske.

Ruth Alice Ammerman

Ruth Alice Ammerman, 78, of Story City, passed away on
Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the Colonial Manor in Zearing.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 16, at the St.
Petri Lutheran Church in Story City, with Pastor Thomas
Reuss officiating. Burial followed in the Alexander Cemetery
in Alexander. The Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City was
in charge of the arrangements.
Ruth was born on January 12, 1929, to parents Simon and
Alice (Wirtjes) Meyer in the town of St. Clair, Butler
County. Ruth married Jake Ammerman on November 22, 1954, at
the home of her parents.
Ruth helped her husband, Jake, farm for many years. She also
worked as a cook and day-care provider at the Storytime
Daycare in Story City prior to her retirement.
Ruth was a member of the St. Petri Lutheran Church. She
loved spending time with her family and playing bingo and
cards with her friends at Cedar Place in Story City, where
she lived for several years. She will be remembered as a
loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Ruth is survived by her son, Larry Ammerman of Story City;
grandson, Bo (Shayla) Ammerman of Roland; granddaughter,
Molly Ammerman of Story City; sister, Mildred Kloetzer of
Iowa Falls (Bradford); brother, Raymond (Betty) Meyer of
Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents; her husband, Jake; two infant sons, David and
Leroy; and a sister, Marlys Meyer, preceded Ruth in death.

IOWA FALLS-H.N. “Bud” Fischer, 66, of Iowa Falls, died on
Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital
in Iowa Falls.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday,
March 17, at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa
Falls. There will be no visitation. The Surls Funeral Home
in Iowa Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
H.N. “Bud” Fischer was born on July 31, 1940 in Appleton,
Wisconsin, the son of Hector and Olive (Gerhartz) Fischer.
He graduated from the Neenah High School in 1958 and
received his B.S. in 1962 and M.S. in 1968 from the
University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
He was a teacher and coach at the Laona High School, New
Holstein High School, U.W. La Crosse Assistantship, Cudahy
High School, Kenosha Tremper High School, and Northland
College, all in Wisconsin, and was a P.E. Instructor and
Basketball Coach at Ellsworth Community College from 1976 to
1999.
His teams participated in many Juco Tournaments including
the NJCAA National Tournament in 1977 and 1986. He had been
a director at the Mullens Big Man Camp in the Kansas City
area. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
National Association of Basketball Coaches and a former
member of the Iowa Falls Elk’s Club.
Bud is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Bob
Fischer of Ames and Bill Fischer and wife, Karissa of Rock
Rapids; a brother, David J. Fischer and wife, Mary of
Neenah, Wisconsin; two nieces, Ann Fischer Steltzer and
husband, Monty of Prior Lake, Minnesota and Salli Nickolai
and husband, Phillip of Neenah; a cousin, Gladys Samuel of
Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; and other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Presbyterian Village in Ackley.

cemetery. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, at the
Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

ELDORA-Hazel Kathryn Foster Steinfeldt, 91, of Eldora,
entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the
Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Her death came
peacefully.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, at
10:30 a.m., at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora, with
Pastor David Splett officiating. Burial will follow in the
Eldora City Cemetery. The Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora
is in charge of the arrangements.
Hazel was born on February 3, 1916 in Hardin County, the
daughter of Charles Foster and Anna (Willard) Foster. She
attended the Putnam rural school in Eldora Township.
Hazel was united in marriage to Frank Steinfeldt on February
7, 1934, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora. To this
union was born one daughter, Ruth. She and her husband,
Frank, farmed east of Eldora until retiring in 1969 to their
new home in Eldora.
Hazel enjoyed watching sports of her grandchildren, working
with her flowers (especially her roses) and spending time
with family and friends. Hazel was a faithful member of the
St. Paul Lutheran Church and an active member of the LWML.
Left to mourn her loss are her daughter, Ruth and husband,
Jerry Butler of Eldora; grandson, Jeff Butler and wife,
Sheri and great-grandchildren, Tysen, Dane and Beau of
Eldora; granddaughter, Kristin Smith and husband, Jeff and
great-grandchildren, Connor and Nathan of Grimes; and many
nieces and nephews.
In death, she has rejoined her parents, Charles and Anna;
and step-father, William Bowman; her husband, Frank on
December 28, 1991; brother, Everett Foster; and sisters,
Ruby Graig and Gertrude White.

ELDORA—Ray Diamond, 79, of Eldora, died from natural causes
on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Valley View Nursing and
Rehab Center in Eldora.
Following cremation, memorial services were held on Friday,
March 16, at the Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora, with
Chaplain James Key officiating. Burial followed in the
memorial addition of the Eldora City Cemetery, with military
honors provided by the Walter-Sayer Post 182 of the American
Legion and Roll-Harless Post 3974 of the VFW.

Clyde Harden Jr., 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 14,
2007, at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, at the
Oehler Funeral Home Arlington Heights Chapel, Illinois.
Interment will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation
will be from 2-5:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the funeral home.
Clyde was born on a farm near Verdon, Nebraska, the fourth
child of Clyde and Adaline Harden. He attended school
through the ninth grade in Verdon, spent one year at the
Auburn High School in Auburn, Nebraska and in 1938 graduated
from high school after the family moved to Iowa Falls.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1938, and spent five and a half
years on various ships in the Pacific and Alaska areas,
including the battleship Pennsylvania, the oil tanker
Brazos, the transport Wharton, and the battleship Indiana.
He received his officers commission through the V-12 program
in 1945.
He graduated from Grinnell College in 1947, and received his
master’s degree in industrial psychology from Drake
University in 1952. He was with the Meredith Publishing
Company in Des Moines, then joined the Quaker Oats Company
in Cedar Rapids, and later relocated to Arlington Heights,
Illinois. Following a year with the Vernon Psychological
Laboratory in Chicago, he was with the Quaker Oats Company
in Chicago, until his retirement in 1985. He spent the next
nine years consulting with various companies in the area of
organizational development.
In 1950, he married Jane F. Anderson, formerly of Boone. He
enjoyed golf, bridge, cribbage and many forms of music,
particularly traditional jazz. He sang and played the
trombone with the Golden Nuggets dance orchestra for more
than 20 years. The band originated at the First Presbyterian
Church more than 30 years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane; daughter and
son-in-law, Sue and Steve Agler of St. Charles, Illinois;
granddaughters, Lauren (Philip) Bice of Boulder, Colorado
and Marianne Agler of Milwaukee; sister, Bess Griffiths of
Auburn, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ena Lieuwen
of Mason City; and brother, Commander Hubert “Bert” Harden
of San Diego.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army and/or First
Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

FALLS-Marie Neeld, 84, of Iowa Falls, passed away on
Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the Scenic Manor, Iowa Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday,
March 19, at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls. Burial
will be in the Warren Township Cemetery, McCallsburg.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the
Linn’s Funeral Home, Iowa Falls.
Pearle Marie Mann, was born on August 29, 1922 at Cisco,
Illinois, the daughter of W. Oscar and Carrie (Van Note)
Mann. She attended the Cisco Community Schools.
On March 10, 1947, Marie was united in marriage to Kenneth
Elbert Neeld at Hiawatha, Kansas. To this union one son was
born, Kenneth Edwin. She was a homemaker and helped Kenneth
with his building moving business and his carpenter work.
She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls,
the Eastside Ladies Aid, and the Church Women United (past
president). She was a good companion and helper to Ken.
Marie Neeld is survived by her husband, Kenneth Neeld of
Iowa Falls; her son, Kenneth (Charlotte) Neeld of Ankeny;
two grandchildren, Amanda (Pat) Schneider of Ackley and
Laurel (Dillon) Hutzel of Iowa Falls; and three
great-grandchildren, Benjamin Schneider of Ackley and Austin
and Alivia Hutzel of Iowa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Hanna
Mann; and one sister, Teresa Nicholsen.

IOWA FALLS—Sandra Reifschneider, 56, of Iowa Falls, died on
Sunday, March 18, 2007, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital

March 22, at the Immanuel Memorial UCC in Alden. The Surls
Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
Sandra Jo Reifschneider, was born on August 21, 1950 in Iowa
Falls, the daughter of Roy and Mary Ann (Schmedika)
Balentine. She received her education in the Alden Schools
and graduated from the Alden High School. She continued her
education at DMACC and Ellsworth Community College, where
she received her A.A. degree. Sandra was the manager of
Pheasant Run Apartments. She was a member of the Immanuel
Memorial UCC in Alden.
Survivors include her children, Christopher Lee
Reifschneider and wife, Kim of Olathe, Kansas, Jason Allen
Reifschneider and fiancée, Katie of New Providence and
Courtney Parrett and husband, Michael of Atlanta, Georgia;
grandchildren, Kye Christopher Reifschneider and Kade
Anthony Reifschneider of Olathe; parents, Roy and Mary
Balentine of Iowa Falls; a sister, Sue Vanderloop of Alden;
and several nieces and nephews.

Marian Jean Behrens, 81,
of Iowa Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at
the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday,
March 24, at the Bethel Baptist Church, Iowa Falls, with
Pastor Steve Hill officiating. Inurnment will be in the
Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. A time of visitation and
fellowship will follow the services at the church.
Marian Jean Crandall, was born on May 28, 1925 at Waterloo,
Iowa, the daughter of Archie Henry and Bertha Maude
[Bartlett] Crandall. She attended and graduated from the
Cedar Falls Community Schools. She attended the Northwestern
Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
On January 6, 1946, Marian was united in marriage to Robert
Carl Behrens at Cedar Falls, Iowa. To this union two
children were born, Jerry and Sue. She was a homemaker a
proud mother and grandmother, but was also a baker of
wedding cakes for many years.
Marian Behrens is survived by her children, Jerry (Marcia)
Behrens of Des Moines, Iowa and Sue (Todd) Dorenkamp of Iowa
Falls, Iowa; five grandchildren, Isaac Behrens of Chicago,
Illinois, Jeremy (Melody) Behrens of Watkins Glen, New York,
Alicia Behrens of Des Moines, Iowa, Jason (Amy) Ryan of
Indianapolis, Indiana and Sara (Bren) Lamoree of Des Moines,
Iowa; four great-grandchildren, Dallas, Chase, and Levi
Mouzakis of Des Moines, Iowa, and Ty Lamoree of Des Moines,
Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Bertha
Crandall; her husband, Robert Behrens; three sisters,
Dorothy Crandall, Margaret Larrabee and Flora Holm-Gettel;
and four brothers, Edwin Crandall, Burton Crandall, Howard
Crandall and Dick Crandall.

Clyde R. “Bounce” Winters, 89, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed
away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
No formal services are being planned.
Bounce was born in New Providence, Iowa, on July 18, 1917,
to Rufus CeBon and Mary Samantha (Reece) Winters. He
attended the Eldora, Iowa, Community Schools.
He lived most of his life in Iowa Falls. He drove truck
working for Sargeants, Martin Marietta, and American
Cyanamid in the Iowa Falls area. He also worked for Gasoline
Alley for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps
during WW II, serving in combat in Central Europe.
Bounce was married to Betty Jean Gaulke on May 17, 1942 at
Bethany Missouri.
Bounce Winters was proceeded in death by his wife, Betty;
his parents; a sister, Ollie; and brothers, Claude, Everett,
Paul, Ralph and infants Edgar and Charlie.
Surviving is his son, Gary Winters and wife, Christine of
St. Joseph, Missouri; his grandchildren, Todd Winters and
wife, Stacy of Olathe, Kansas, Matthew Winters of Overland
Park, Kansas, Gina Boyd and her husband, Brian of Denver,
Colorado and Maggie Miller and husband, Ben of St. Joseph,
Missouri; his six great-grandchildren, Jack Winters of
Olathe, Kansas, Aidan, Noah and Daniel Boyd of Denver,
Colorado and Sam and Jake Judah of St. Joseph, Missouri; and
one sister, Thelma Knott of Zearing, Iowa.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida–James Peter Gines, 71, passed away
due to a massive heart attack, on Thursday, March 22, 2007,
in Cape Canaveral, Florida, while on an annual golf trip.
Jim was born on January 15, 1936 in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
the only child of Joseph and Agnes Gines.
In 1940 the family moved to Iowa Falls and Jim graduated
from the Iowa Falls High School in 1954. He had competed in
varsity football, basketball and track. He graduated from
the U of I in 1960 with a B.A. in electrical engineering. He
lived in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He is survived by his wife, Kay; and daughters, Kristina and
Katherine; two granddaughters; and many friends who were as
close as family.

Marjory M. Gillespie, 74, of Iowa Falls, Iowa,
passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007, at the North
Iowa Mercy Medical Center, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.,
on Tuesday, March 27, at the First United Methodist
Church, Iowa Falls, with burial to follow in the
Sherman Township Cemetery, rural Buckeye, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m., on Monday, at
the Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls.
Marjory May Crabtree, was born on April 9, 1932 at
Copeland, Kansas, the daughter of John Burton and
Ruth Ester (Thompson) Crabtree. She attended rural
schools in the Iowa Falls area, attended the Iowa
Falls High School in her 9th and 10th grade and the
Radcliff High School in her 11th and 12th grade
graduating with the class of 1950.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Robert Knott in
1950. To this union four children were born, Robert,
Galen, Becky and Valerie. The couple later divorced.
She was united in marriage to Everette Owen Tjarks
until his death in 1979. On September 2, 1983, she
was united in marriage to Howard E. Gillespie.
She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, and had
worked for the Scenic Manor Care Facility for ten
years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the
First United Methodist Church, Iowa Falls, and a
former member of the Ladies of the Moose.
Marjory Gillespie is survived by her husband, Howard
Gillespie of Iowa Falls; her children, Robert
(Bette) Knott of Newton, Galen Knott of Iowa Falls,
Becky (fiancée, Roger Miller) Statler of Iowa Falls,
Valerie (Kendall) Clarke of Iowa Falls, Dave (LeAnn)
Tjarks of Goldfield, Sherri (Dave) Pickering of
Lakewood, Colorado, Anita (Donnie) Reed of Alden,
Marty (Janelle) Tjarks of Mill Grove, Missouri,
Harlen (Deb) Gillespie of Cedar Rapids, Cheryl (Max)
Clark of Iowa Falls and Jim (Karen) Gillespie of
Iowa Falls; twenty eight grandchildren; twenty two
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathryn (Jim)
Rankin of Iowa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her second husband,
Everette Tjarks; one grandson, Nathan Lynch; and
four brothers, Ted Crabtree, Glen Crabtree, Forrest
Crabtree and Don Crabtree.

Marvel Mae Ellingson, 85, of Alden, passed away on Friday,
March 23, 2007, at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls,
due to cancer.
Funeral services were held
on Tuesday, March 27, at the Immanuel Memorial United Church
of Christ, Alden. Rev. Robert Miller officiated at the 10:30
a.m. service. Burial was in the Alden Cemetery.
Marvel Mae Schroeder, was
born on May 12, 1921 in rural Dows, the daughter of Herman
and Mae (Schroeder) Schroeder. She graduated from the Dows
High School in 1938. Marvel graduated from the Iowa
Teacher's College in Cedar Falls in 1939. She taught country
school in Vernon and Oakland Townships for many years. After
the country schools closed, she taught 4th and 5th grades at
Popejoy. She later worked in retail in Iowa Falls, working
for Strutz Clothiers and then worked many, many years at the
Bootery Shoe Store in Iowa Falls.
On May 1, 1947, she
married Burnell Ellingson at the Little Brown Church in
Nashua, Iowa. The couple divorced in 1978. Marvel was a
member of the Iowa Falls Christian Women's Club and the
Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ in Alden.
She enjoyed playing cards, visiting, and spending time with
her family. Marvel was a 42-year cancer survivor, being
first diagnosed in 1965.
Marvel is survived by her
two children, Doug Ellingson of Alden and Janaan Harding and
husband, Duane of Alden; five grandchildren; six
great-granddaughters; and one sister, Jean Holden of Laguna
Hills, California.
Marvel was preceded in
death by her parents; husband, Burnell; and one sister,
Wilma Halvorson.

IOWA FALLS—Arline J. Johnson, 85, of Iowa Falls, passed away
on
Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital,
Iowa Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday,
March 31, at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, with the
Rev. Brian King officiating. Burial will be in the Northlawn
Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls. The Linn’s
Funeral Home, Iowa Falls, was in charge of the arrangements.
Arline Jeanette Olson, was born on March 27, 1921 at Volin,
South Dakota, the daughter of Arthur Casper and Cora Amanda
(Ellefson) Olson. Arline grew up in the Volin area and
attended the Irene and Wakonda, South Dakota, high schools,
graduating from the Wakonda High School with the class of 1939.
She attended Southern State Teachers College at Springfield,
South Dakota. She taught school for two years in the Volin and
Alcester, South Dakota areas.
On June 20, 1943, at Volin,
South Dakota, Arline was united in marriage to Glenn P. Johnson of
Alcester. They lived in Leesville, Louisiana, where Glenn was a
member of the 8th Armored Division. She returned to South
Dakota when Glenn went overseas. They made their home in
Wagner, South Dakota, after Glenn was discharged. They later lived
at Elk Point, South Dakota and Iowa Falls.
She worked for Farmland
Foods, Iowa Falls, for 17 years, retiring in 1983. She was a
member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, where she was
a member of the Lutheran Christian Women of the E.L.C.A.,
serving on the Evangelism Committee, the Altar Committee,
and the L.C.W. Board, and the Rebekah’s Circle, taught
Sunday School for 13 years, held several offices, and did
various other jobs as the church requested. She was also a
member of the Ellsworth College Faculty Wife’s organization.
Arline Johnson is survived by her husband, Glenn P. Johnson
of Iowa Falls; her son, Conan Johnson of DeSoto, Kansas;
three daughters, Celene (Mike) Anderson of Marshalltown, Susan
Johnson of Poncha Springs, Colorado and Pat (Steve) Andriakos
of Portland, Maine; 15 grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vernold (Dorothy) Olson
of Akron, Iowa and Larry (Betty) Olson of Onalaska, Wisconsin;
and four sisters, Rosella Richmond of Naples, Florida, LeVila
(Melvin) Johnson of Alcester, South Dakota, Cleone (Loren) Humpal of
Rapid City, South Dakota and Nelda (Dennis) Hultgren of Akron,
Iowa.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur
and Cora Olson; one son, Myron Johnson; a sister, Melinda
Peterson; and a brother, Gaylord Olson.

Marion Wikert, 80, of Mason City, Iowa, and formerly
of Iowa Falls, passed away on Monday, March 26,
2007, at the Muse Norris Hospice, Mason City, Iowa.
Memorial services for will be held at 10:00 a.m., on
Wednesday, March 28, at the Trinity Lutheran Church,
Mason City, with Reverend Jim Magelssen officiating.
Marion Ruth Price, was born on October 12, 1926 at
Towanda, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Alexander and
Dora (Chilson) Price. She graduated from Brooklyn
New York High School with the class of 1944.
On April 13, 1945, she was united in marriage to
Milan Alan Wikert at Brooklyn, New York. To this
union two children were born, Robert and Steven.
After Milan was discharge from the U.S. Navy, they
made their home in Iowa Falls, Iowa from 1945 to
1968, they lived at Charles City, Iowa, from 1968 to
1983, moving back to Iowa Falls in 1983 and finally
retiring to Mason City, Iowa in 1993. While they
lived in Iowa Falls, Marion was a receptionist for
Dr. Bob Johnson and Dr. Bill Johnson. She was a
member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City,
Iowa.
Marion R. Wikert is survived by her husband, Milan
Wikert of Mason City; her two sons, Robert (Diane)
Wikert of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Steven (Mary) Wikert
of Cedar Falls; four grandsons; and one
great-granddaughter; one brother, Andrew Price of
Binghamton, New York; and two sisters, Elizabeth
Puglissi of Endicott, New York and Alice Montgomery
of Binghamton, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander
and Dora Price; and one grandson, Todd Wikert.

Congregational United Church of Christ in Iowa Falls.
Interment will be at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, in the Exira
Cemetery, Exira. The Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is in
charge of the arrangements.
Dawn Ann Bissell, was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 8, 1945, to
James F. and Joan (Voss) Pressnall. She was later adopted by
Conrad L. Johnson. She grew up in Atlantic, Sioux City and
Cedar Rapids. She was an honors student at the University of
Iowa, UNI and Ellsworth Community College.
Dawn was united
in marriage to Norman Bissell on November 22, 1972, at the First
Congregational Church in Creston. They moved to Iowa Falls
in 1974. She worked in the business office at the Ellsworth
Municipal Hospital for eight years and at the Iowa Falls CIRSI
Group Home for six years.
She was a housewife, and
also worked as a volunteer transcriber, tape recording books
for the Iowa Department for the Blind. She was a member of
the First Congregational United Church of Christ, and served
on the Church Council. She enjoyed reading and spending time
with her family.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Norman; three sons, Douglas
Neathery and wife, Lili of Patagonia, Argentina, John Bissell
and wife, Anna of Grimes and Patrick and wife, Katrina of
Iowa Falls; five beloved grandchildren, Blake Bissell, Maya Neathery, Drew Bissell, Lee Vanderpool and Dylan Vanderpool;
her mother, Joan Johnson of Atlantic; a brother, Scott
Johnson and wife, Diane; a sister, Lisa Pressnall; and two nieces
and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and
step-father.

ELDORA—Rhoda Mae Dankel, 96, of Fort Dodge, formerly of
Eldora, died at her residence on Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 31,
at the Eldora United Methodist Church, with Pastor Richard
Boatman officiating. Visitation will be at the church on
Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow
at 2:00 p.m., at the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery in Glidden.

Mildred Mae (Orris) Stiner

IOWA FALLS—Mildred Stiner, 85, of Iowa Falls, passed away on
Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa
Falls, due to complications from Alzheimer’s.
Mildred was born on November 11, 1921, to
David and Louisa (Meuer) Orris in Hartley. She graduated from the Lake Park High School in 1939 and
moved to Iowa Falls to live with an older sister who was
caring for an ill husband. There she met Maurice Stiner and
they were married in 1940, spending almost 60 years of life
together. Their entire married life was spent in Iowa Falls
where they raised four sons, Doug, Mag, Donn and Joe, and
contributed to the life of the community.
Milly’s caring nature led her to be active in many ways to
benefit others. She was involved in the PTA for almost three
decades, volunteering and putting on programs at the Blanche
Stoddard Elementary. She participated and held office in
many organizations such as the Boy Scouts, American Legion
Auxiliary, the Calkins Nature Center, Meals on Wheels, and
served on the Union Cemetery Board for 20 years.
For more
than 50 years Milly attended the First Congregational
Church, teaching Sunday School, organizing the church
kitchen, stitching with the quilting group, and being a
member of the Service Circle. She was an avid gardener and
devoted to feeding the turkeys and other wildlife on their
river front property.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers;
two sisters; a daughter-in-law, Anne; and her beloved
husband, Maurice.
She leaves behind to celebrate her place
in their lives her sons, Doug (Cyndy) and Lee and Lane
Richtsmeier; Magnus (Nancy) and David, Daniel and Derek;
Donn (Delores) and Beth and Erica of Chicago; Joe (Sue Lynn)
and Glynda of Alden; and her loving caregiver of several
years, Barb Izer.

IOWA FALLS—Florence “Blondie” Lursen, of Iowa Falls, passed
away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the Scenic Manor Care
Facility, Iowa Falls.
Funeral services were held on Friday,
March 30, at the Linn’s Funeral Chapel, Iowa Falls, with
burial in the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. The Linn’s Funeral
Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the
arrangements.
Florence Ramey, was born on July 14, 1917 at Pine River, Minnesota,
the daughter of Patrick Ben Arte and Ida Bell (Rush) Ramey.
She graduated from the Owasa High School with the class of
1935. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of
the First United Methodist Church, Iowa Falls.
Florence Ramey Lursen is survived by her sister, Dolly Belle
Dougherty and husband, Donald of Minnetonka, Minnesota; her
brother, Frank Ramey and wife, Eileen of Iowa Falls; and many
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four
husbands, Larry Campbell, Elden Oliver, Hugh Stackhouse and
Fred Lursen; three brothers, C.A. Ramey, Harold Ramey and
Richard M. Ramey; and three sisters, Laura Rush and Violet
Ruby Sharpshair and Betty Stadler.

natural causes on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the Mercy Medical
Center North Iowa in Mason City.
Funeral services were held on
Monday, April 2, at the First Congregational United Church
of Christ in Hampton, with Pastor John Byrne officiating.
Burial was in the Marion Center Cemetery, rural Latimer. The

Ritzman, 88, of Hampton, passed away in a car accident on
Friday, March 30, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on
Saturday, April 7, at the First Congregational United Church
of Christ in Hampton, with burial in the Washington Reformed
Church Cemetery, rural Ackley. The Rev. John Byrne will
officiate at the service. Visitation will be on Friday, from 4-6:00
p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton.

One dead in accident near Hubbard
April 4, 2007
HUBBARD-A Hampton man was killed and two people were injured
in a two-vehicle accident near Hubbard Friday night.
According to a report by the Iowa State Patrol, Vern Wesley
Ritzman, 88, died at the scene. Ritzman’s Buick Park Avenue
was reportedly northbound on U.S. Highway 65, north of
Hubbard, when he failed to make it around a curve at about
9:30 p.m. The vehicle crossed the center line and collided
head-on with a southbound Ford F250 pickup truck being
driven by 34-year-old Aaron Ingebritson of Hubbard.
Ingebritson and Naomi Fay Ritzman, 85, of Hampton, a
passenger in the Buick, were transported to the Ellsworth
Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls.
Troopers said all three people were wearing their seat
belts.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the
Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Hardin County E-Squad,
Hubbard Ambulance and Hubbard Fire Department.
The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State
Patrol.

Marlene Selma Wheeler

IOWA FALLS—Marlene Selma Wheeler, 71, of Iowa Falls, passed
away on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the Heritage Care Center,
Iowa Falls.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 3, at
the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Coulter, with Pastor Lenny
Carlson and Pastor Mary E. Peterson officiating. Burial was
in the Coulter Cemetery. The Linn’s Funeral Home, Iowa Falls
Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
Marlene Selma Morton, was born on August 6, 1935 at Belmond,
the daughter of John Edward “Ed” Morton and Myrtle (Madsen)
Morton. She received her education at the Coulter Elementary
School and Franklin Consolidated School, Latimer, graduating
in 1952 as valedictorian.
On April 25, 1952, Marlene was
united in marriage to Herbert Clifford Wheeler at the
Nazareth Lutheran Church in Coulter. She worked as a bank
teller and was also a homemaker.
She attended the Nazareth
Lutheran Church in Coulter and attended many women’s Bible
studies. She enjoyed visiting family and friends, especially
her grandchildren. She loved to read and was active in her
church.
Marlene Wheeler is survived by her husband, Herbert Wheeler
of Iowa Falls; three daughters, Anita (Warren) White of Iowa
Falls, Debra (Eric) Fredericks of Iowa Falls and Karen
(Darwin) Cole of Hampton; three sisters, Peggy (Mac) Guldberg of Coulter, Dixie (David) Jurgens of Marion and Emelia Tate of Lomax, Illinois; one brother, Sanford (Carole)
Morton of Coulter; grandchildren, Nathan and (Laura) Cole of
Leon, Mexico, Matthew and (Ginger) Cole of Iowa Falls and
Sarah Cole of Hampton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Myrtle Morton; an
infant daughter, Coleen Marie Wheeler; and two brothers, E. J.
“Mort” Morton and Dallas Morton.
