The CFPD responded to a call of a fight at the location. Blythe was found unconscious by Cedar Falls Police at 9:59 p.m. Saturday night. He was pronounced dead at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. An autopsy will be performed by the State Medical Examiner.

According to family spokesman Dave Roder, the Blythe family was making arrangements Monday. Details of the incident were not immediately made clear.

Bagley also noted that retired AGWSR Counselor Rosie Lindaman will be on hand this week to help students deal with the situation as school begins at AGWSR on Wednesday.

Until then, a number of Blythe’s friends have left personal messages on his MySpace page. Just hours after the incident, this message appeared, “I would give anything to see you again just to say goodbye. I love you man.” That was followed by, “Treye you will be missed by many! But you are in such a better place now! I will miss ya! What a funny guy you were in High school!" And, “You are such an unforgettable person that has impacted so many lives. Wow, I cry in disbelief because I can’t imagine life without you.”
