Juliet Gray Downs died peacefully at home with hospice care on May 24, 2010, from several underlying health issues. She was born July 12, 1953, as the daughter of Robert Bruce and Eloise Echols Gray in Langdale, Ala.
She asked that there be no memorial service in Charles City. A memorial service will be held in Langdale and her remains will then be inured in the Langdale cemetery.
Her husband will miss her cheerful smile and brave attitude but knowing her spirit is renewed in the body of Christ is comforting. She requested that any donations be made to PAWS or the animal shelter of your choice.

James Lee Ebel, 41, of Toledo, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. He shared the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
A funeral service will be held at Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., in Charles City on Saturday, May 29, at 6 p.m. with Rev. Kent Sovine of Bethany Alliance Church officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. He will be cremated following the service. Alexander Robert Pattee, 5 months, of Charles City, passed away peacefully in his parents arms on May 25, 2010, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt, with the Rev. Jerry Raether officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home, Humboldt. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.
