Funeral services for Helen F. Kiehn 88, of Greene, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2006, at Reid’s Funeral Chapel, Greene, with Pastor Ashok Patet officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene. Helen F. Bronsema was born June 12, 1918, a daughter of William and Lillie (Wendt) Bronsema and died Friday, September 22, 2006, at the Allison Health Care Center in Allison. She received her education in the Greene Public Schools Graduating from Greene High School in 1935. Helen was issued a Normal Training Certificate on June 12, 1936. She taught in the rural Greene Country Schools until 1952. Her speciality was teaching Orthography; which is the art of writing words with proper letters, in accepted usage. Helen was united in marriage to Lawrence L. Kiehn on November 22, 1952, at the United Methodist Church in Greene. Helen and Lawrence farmed in the Greene area until their retirement in 1981, when they moved into town. Lawrence died February 23, 1995. She enjoyed watching television programs such as Animal Planet and National Geographic. Helen was a nature lover who took pleasure in birdwatching and flowers. She was very proud of her large Croton Plant. Helen liked working with Word Search Books and taking frequent automobile rides. Helen is survived by her brother: Darrell( Ingrid ) Bronsema, of Carson City, NV; Special friends and home care providers. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister-in-law Letha Groothuis. McWHIRTER

Memorial services for Thomas Riggs (ÒT.R.Ó) McWhirter, will be held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Traer United Methodsit Church. T.R. died peacefully in his home Sept. 15, 2006 after a long illness. T.R. was born Aug. 7, 1929, in Allison, Iowa, to Dr. Ralph and Hellen Lucille McWhirter. He graduated Allison High School in 1947. He also graduated Gates Business College in Waterloo in 1948, after which he began work at the State Bank of Allison. T.R. and Darlene Voigts were united in marriage Jan. 19, 1951. He was drafted into US Army during the Korean War, and honorably discharged in 1953, after which he worked at the Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank in Lansing, Iowa. In 1954, T.R. and his brother, John, purchased the controlling interest in the Farmers Savings Bank from Otto Moeller. T.R. and Darlene moved to Traer on Labor Day, 1954, and managed the bank for nearly 20 years. As president of the bank in 1973, he announced its sale to William Talen, and remained as a consultant for many years thereafter. T.R. was a member of the first Tama County zoning board, Traer Town Treasurer for many years, and a proud member of the American Legion for 53 years. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf, and planting trees throughout the community. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John McWhirter. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; two children, Maurice McWhirter of Phoenix Ariz., and Jane (Michael) Crisp of Herndon, Va.; five grandchildren, Tom, Katie, John, Kelley and David and one sister, Ann (Lester) Schrage of Allison.


RINDELS

Helena Frieda Rindels, age 81, of Wellsburg, Iowa, was born the daughter of Fred and Gesina (Flesner) Tjaden on October 31, 1924, near Buck Grove, Grundy County, Iowa. She received her education from Pleasant Valley #4 Country School near her home. On January 3, 1947, Helena was united in marriage with Harold Ben Rindels at the Reformed Church of Stout, Stout, Iowa. They made their home and farmed in the Wellsburg area. In 1955 they moved and farmed near Stout until 1963 when they returned to the Wellsburg area and moved to their current farm, where they continued farming for many years. Through the years Helena worked along side Harold farming together. Helena was a member of the Reformed Church of Stout. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and raising all of their farm animals. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and playing bingo. Helena died Monday, September 18, 2006, at the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rindels; her parents; and a brother-in-law, Fred Marks. Helena is survived by two sons, Darwin Rindels of Wellsburg, Iowa, and Darius (Becky) Rindels of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two grandchildren, Britney and Austin; and one sister, Elma Marks of Roscoe, Illinois. Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Reformed Church of Stout in Stout, Iowa with Rev. David Powers officiating. Organist was Elaine Schnell. Congregational Hymns were “Amazing Grace” and “Rock of Ages”. Casketbearers were: Relatives Ron DeBoer, Kevin Stickley, Marvin Flesner and Friends: Ron Boelts, Lonnie Rewerts and Ernest Bernard. Burial was in Stout Cemetery, Stout, Iowa. Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the family.

A Celebration of Life Service for Lyla Truex, 90, of Marble Rock was held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Marble Rock with Pastor Kenneth Kent officiating. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery in Marble Rock. Lyla Smith was born on a farm in Union Township, Floyd Co., a daughter of Verl and Bertha (Luther) Smith, and died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at the Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake where she had been a resident since September 2001. Lyla grew up in a very poor family. Her parents along with her five brothers and sisters moved in with her Great Grandmother, who was crippled. The Christian home Lyla was raised in taught honesty and morality. She had a strong foundation deeply rooted in the Christian faith and enjoying God’s simple blessing. Lyla was blessed with the ability to play the piano at the tender age of three, along with learning to play two additional instruments. Throughout her life she blessed her family and friends with her musical talents. Lyla received her education in the Marble Rock Public Schools graduating in 1934. On April 21, 1934 she was united in Marriage to Wilfred Carl Truex in Lime Springs, Iowa. To this union were born five children who became the center of her universe. Lyla and Carl remained devoted to each for 60 years until his death on December 7, 1994. She loved nature and the outdoors which she depicted in her oil paintings. Her family “lived out of the woods hunting rabbits, squirels, pheasants and fish.” Lyla’s family farm was made available to the Boy Scouts of Marble Rock and is now a camp enjoyed by countless youth each year. Living family members include her three daughters: Charlotte (Ben) Sieck of Willmar, MN, Rita Squires of Clear Lake, Joan(Mark) Norvold of Cedar Falls; two sons: Doug (Joan) Truex of Waterloo, IA, Rick Truex of Clear Lake, 9 grandchildren:Amy Van Arkel, Ryan Van Arkel, Matt Van Arkel, Amanda Truex, Dawn Truex, Brian Truex, Nick Truex, Doug Truex, Tim Squires, Jeff Sieck, Terry Sieck, brother-in-law: Charles(Evelyn) Truex of Greene. She is preceded in death by her her parents,one brother: LaVerne “Slivers” Smith, her husband, two grandchildren: Chris Van Arkel, Tony Sieck. BIENEMANN

Dennis Allen Bienemann, age 85, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born April 5, 1921, the son of Frank and Ruth Butler Bienemann near Wautaga, South Dakota. He attended country school in South Dakota until 1935 when the family moved to a farm northeast of Clarksville. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1939. Following high school, he went to Rockford, Illinois where he worked in Gunarts National Defense Factory. He joined the US Army and was honorably discharged from World War II in 1946 as a Sergeant (Tank Division Trainer). Dennis was united in marriage with Norma Deike October 14, 1944 at the Pleasant Valley Church, rural Clarksville. During the War, they lived in Monterey, California. After service, Dennis worked at the Coast to Coast store in Waverly for two years. He started farming 2 ½ miles east of Plainfield. In 1954, they began farming on the family farm 6 miles north of Clarksville until they moved to a new house in Clarksville in 1981. He continued helping his son on the farm until 1988. Dennis was a member of First United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley, rural Clarksville, where he was involved in the Dart Ball group, helped with the Men’s Fellowship lunch stand at auctions, was a Sunday School teacher and Superintendent of Sunday Schools. Dennis founded the Fremont Ramblers 4-H Club and was a leader of that club for many years. He was a Noble Grand of the Fraternal Order of IOOF Lodge, a member of the AMVETs, a Township Trustee and a member of the Fremont #4 School Board. Dennis was an avid sports fan and fisherman. He loved his children and grandchildren and used every opportunity to see them. He made Christmas holidays for the whole family meaningful. Dennis died Friday, September 29, 2006, at Waverly Health Care Center, Waverly, Iowa, of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lynn Keller and Gene Thompson and two brothers, Galan Bienemann and Gillen Bienemann. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Bienemann, Clarksville; two sons, Bruce Bienemann, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Bret (Denise) Bienemann, Waverly, Iowa; three daughters, Joyce Freese, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Connie (Vern) Kollasch, Iowa City, Iowa and Melanie (Dawn) Bienemann, Chicago, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Angela Millstead, Anthony Bienemann, Jeff Freese, Shane Freese, Ryan Freese, Neil Kollasch, Scott Kollasch, Ashley Bienemann, Katelyn Bienemann and Ryleigh Bienemann; two great-grandchildren, Colton Kollasch and Crosby Millstead; two brothers, Lyle (Fern) Bienemann, Clarksville, Iowa and his twin brother, Darrell (Gertrude) Bienemann, Plainfield, Iowa. Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2006, at the First United Church of Christ - Pleasant Valley, rural Clarksville, Iowa with Pastor Anne Sunday officiating. Organist was Roberta Nieman and Pianist was Twila Dietz. Vocalist Kathy Scharnhorst sang “These Hands”. Congregational Hymns were “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”. Casketbearers were Jeff Freese, Shane Freese, Ryan Freese, Neil Kollasch, Scott Kollasch, Anthony Bienemann, Dan Bienemann, Alan Deike and David Bienemann. Honorary Casketbearers were Ashley Bienemann, Katelyn Bienemann, Ryleigh Bienemann and Angela Millstead. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Clarksville, Iowa with Military Rites provided by Clarksville AMVETs Post #30. Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Clarksville, was in charge of arrangements. RAUSCH

Franklin “Frank” E. Rausch, 72, of Dumont, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2006, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, October 1, 2006, at New Hope United Methodist Church, 706 Locust Street, Dumont, with Pastor Bob Conner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Graveside inurnment will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2006, at Riverside Cemetery, 59 Riverside Avenue, Charles City, with military honors being conducted by the Charles City V.F.W. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dumont American Legion and Lion’s Club. Frank was born on October 11, 1933, in Charles City; son of Ernest and Mildred (Wendt) Rausch. Frank graduated from Mason City High School. He enlisted in the Army and served during the Korea Conflict, where he was a cook. After he was honorably discharged, Frank went to a meat butchering school for two years in Toledo, OH, returning back to Iowa to work for several grocery stores in Eldora and Sheffield. He moved to Mason City to work at the county nursing home and in January of 1983 he started working for J & C Grocery, Mason City. Frank stayed at the store in Mason City until 1987, when he moved to the Dumont J & C Grocery. Frank lived to work at the grocery store. He worked at the store until two weeks ago. Frank liked to be up early and was at work everyday at 4:45 AM to have the back door open and coffee ready for the delivery truck drivers. He always had Tootsie rolls for the children that came to the store. Frank enjoyed traveling between all the J & C Grocery stores. His favorite time of the year was helping during the holidays at the Allison store. He was a member of the Dumont American Legion and Lion’s club. He loved helping with the turkey and ham dinners and fish fry’s the Lion’s club held. He would always prepare the coleslaw to be served. He enjoyed receiving homemade gifts from neighbors and sharing meals with friends. Frank was one to always lend a hand to those whom needed help. He will be greatly missed by those whose lives Frank touched. Frank is survived by his sister Maxine Toltzman, Jamestown, ND; two nephews, Bruce (Toni) Toltzman, Jamestown, ND; and Charles “Chuck” (Linda) Toltzman, Winthrop, MN; four nieces, Destiny, Danica, Rebecca, and Vanessa; five great-great nephews; two great-great nieces, one cousin and other relatives; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Herman “Slim” Huxsoll, and Ernest Rausch; brother in law, Marcus Toltzman, and nephew Daniel Zobeck. Memorial Services for Rex Wade Zimmerman,46, Bristow, were held Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Greene with Pastor Gary Hatcher officiating. Private Inurnment services will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene. Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Rex Zimmerman Memorial Fund in care of the family. Rex Wade Zimmerman was born July 29, 1960 at the Cedar Valley Hospital in Charles City, a son of Charles Wayne and Glenora Ethel (Clemens) Zimmerman, and died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in a motor vehicle accident near his home on 150th Street. He received his education in the Allison Bristow schools graduating in 1979. He continued his education at NIACC in the building trades program. On September 21, 1985 he was united in marriage to Sara Renee Boomgarden at St. James Lutheran Church in Allison. To this union was born a son, Patrick. Rex worked in the construction business for over 27 years and farmed in the rural Bristow area for 23 years. He also worked part time for the Community Elevator from 1979 to 1985. In recent years he was a salesman for Golden Harvest Seed Corn. He will be remembered as a sportsman extra ordinaire as an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. Rex loved to go mushroom hunting and playing cards, along with raising Jack Russell Terriers. Rex had a keen ability to imitate peoples voices, their characteristics, and various sounds. “Rex was young at heart...probably the oldest kid one would ever know.” He was president of the Butler County North Chapter of the Pheasants Forever for 12 years, and president elect of the Round Grove Golf and Country Club. He was a willing helper and volunteer in the community wherever he was needed. Rex will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sara, son Patrick both at home, his father C. W. Zimmerman of Bristow, and two brothers: Ross (Diane) Zimmerman, Ron (Suzie) Zimmerman both of Aredale; his mother and father-in-law: Jeff (Sally) Boomgarden of Allison; two brothers-in-law: Mike (Julie) Boomgarden of Allison, Matt (Ranae) Boomgarden of Buffalo Lake, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He leaves to join his mother who died February 27, 2003.


Van Dyke

Steven K. Van Dyke, 54, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away October 3, 2006, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. He was born May 13, 1952, in Hampton, Iowa to Henry and Marlene (Wendt) Van Dyke. Steven graduated from the Greene High School and received his B.S. Degree from Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married Rosanne Uthe on July 23, 1983, in Hampton, Iowa. Steven owned and operated Van Dyke Tree Service. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hampton and a member of the Iowa Arborist Association. Steven was a sports enthusiast, he enjoyed figure 8 races, helping Tyler with cattle, he also enjoyed watching football and wrestling. He is survived by his wife Rosanne “Rose” Van Dyke of Dumont, son Tyler Van Dyke of Dumont, son Tanner Van Dyke of Dumont, brother Stan and wife Jane Van Dyke of Portal, Georgia, brother Warren and wife Lolita Van Dyke of Greene, aunts, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his father Henry Van Dyke and mother Marlene (Wendt) Van Dyke, and many aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m, Saturday, October 7, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hampton with Fr. Bernard Grady officiating. Special music was provided by organist, Linda Campbell accompanying the song leader/soloist Jim Davies and Connstance Wagner. The flower committee was Sherry Peterson and Judy Nelson. Pallbearers were Les Buseman, Mark Dix, David Miller, J.R. Underwood, Randal Van Dyke, Dennis Mennen, Jim Heuberger and Warren Johnson. Final resting place was in the Oak Hill Cemetery in rural Bristow, Iowa. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


JOHNSON

Funeral services for Ray A. Johnson of Greene, were held Monday, October 16, 2006 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Greene, with Pastor Gary Hatcher officiating. Military rites conducted by Tack Barnett Post 268 American Legion of Greene with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Ray Ardeen Johnson was born October 18, 1922 in Greene, Iowa a son of Gustaf Algot Samuel and Alice (Beesley) Johnson and died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Liebe Care Center in Greene. He received his education in the Greene Public Schools graduating in 1940. On November 20, 1942, he was inducted into the United States Navy where he served with the 13th Aviation Repair Overhaul Unit. Following his discharge on January 31, 1946, he returned to Greene where he was employed by the Swab & Peete Drug Store. On May 18, 1947, he was united in marriage to Wanda MaeVan Horn, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church at Vilmar. They made their home in Greene. He was received into membership at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene on December 5, 1948. In 1952 he began working for Oliver-White Farm Tractor Works in Charles City where he remained until his retirement. Living family members include his wife Wanda of Greene; two daughters: Shari (Donald) Oleson of Carroll, IA, Jolene (Kyle) Kraft of Seguin, TX; four grandchildren: Jeffrey (Michelle) Oleson, Suzanne (David) Olberding, Heather (Andrew) Reeves, Kent (Amber) Kraft; four great-grandchildren: Abigail, Erin, Ethan Olberding, Lauren Oleson; two sisters: Betty Jean Hosmer of Albuquerque, NM; Joyce Ann Knighten of West Monroe, LA; one brother: Gerry (Joan) Johnson of Jesup, IA. He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers: Roger, Howard, and Richard. JUNGLING

Henry Jungling, age 95, of Aplington, Iowa, was born the son of Thaus and Hanah (Wubbena) Jungling on July 22, 1911, at home in Butler County, rural Aplington, Iowa. He received his education from a rural country school. Henry was united in marriage to Cornelia Miller on August 8, 1934, in Galena, Illinois. They farmed near Aplington, and he ran a mechanics shop on the farm repairing tractors and farm machinery. Henry was an active member of the Bethel Reformed Church in rural Aplington and served as chairman of the church parsonage building committee. Henry also served on the Aplington School Board for 15 years and served as President. Cornelia Jungling died May 28, 1985. Henry married Gesina (Eilers) Schneiderman June 22, 1989, at St. James Lutheran Church in Allison. They moved to Aplington in 1993. Henry died Friday, October 13, 2006, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his wife Cornelia, a son James Henry in infancy, a granddaughter Sheri Franken, a great-grandson Travis Franken, a brother John T. Jungling and a sister Jennie Haats. Henry is survived by his wife, Gesina of Aplington; two daughters, Lois (George) Schipper of Aplington, and Eunice (Robert) Schipper of Kesley; two sons, Paul (Barbara) Jungling, and Henry (Becky) Jungling both of Aplington; two step-sons, Darrel (Janelle) Brinkman of Hampton and Mark (Linda) Brinkman of Janesville; ten grandchildren, Jolyn (Gaylen) Timmer, Ranae (Robert) Diekman, Chad (Nichole) Schipper, Kevin (Shelly) Schipper, Deb (Mitch) Johnson, Brian (Jolene) Jungling, Pam (Grant) Kampman, Jackie (Tory) Klahsen, Jodi (Jeff) McCauley, and Jeremy Jungling; three step-grandchildren, Kris Brinkman, Michelle Lehr, Sara Mullinex; thirty-four great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at the Bethel Reformed Church, Aplington, Iowa with Rev. Scott Summers officiating. Organist was Linda Birley. Vocalists Jeff McCauley and Randy Aalderks sang “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “How Great Thou Art”. Congregational Hymns were “Rock of Ages” and “Amazing Grace”. Roland ‘Bud’ Harms, 79, of Allison, Iowa, passed away October 19, 2006 at the Allison Health Care Center. Funeral service was held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 23 at the St. James Lutheran Church in Allison. Burial was in the Allison Cemetery. Ruth Ann Shriver officiated the service. He was born September 5, 1927 in rural Butler County, Iowa to William H. and Mattie (Roose) Harms. Bud graduated from Allison High School and briefly attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He married Ferol Lee Weires on June 26, 1949 in Allison. Bud was a farmer and sold insurance for Butler County Mutual Insurance and Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Companies. He was a member of the Allison Gun Club, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Butler County Mutual Insurance Company and Butler County Pork and Beef Producers. Bud was a life-long member of St. James Lutheran church where he served on the church council as president. Bud also served on the Allison-Bristow Scool board as president. Bud was a avid fisherman, hunter, conservationist, sports enthusias and supporter of the Democratic party. Bud is survived by his daughter Sally & husband Scott Beltz of Cedar Rapids, daughter Patty & husband Denny Walsh of Cedar Rapids, daughter Becky Mock of Alton, Missouri, son David & wife Georganne Harms of Allison, sister Joyce & husband Carl Heyenga of Allison, grandchildren: Tracey & husband Brian Krousie, Mark & wife Tara Beltz, Christopher Beltz, Meghan Ferol, Zachary Koch, Jani & husband Nate Trotter, Holly & husband Todd Henricks, Eli Harms, Travis Mock, Dustin Mock, great grandchildren: Madison Krousie, Hunter Krousie, Jaden Mock, Ava Henricks, Taylor Trotter, Caydence Moon and Brooklynn Moon. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ferol and sister Leona McCready. Bud will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the Allison community.

Ronald Lorenze (Clancy) Lundberg, 62, of Waverly, Iowa, died peacefully and surrounded by his family at his home on Sunday morning, October 22, 2006 following complications of brain cancer. Ron was born on April 6, 1944 in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Lorenze Carl and Dorothy May Aneweer. He was baptized on May 14, 1944 and confirmed in 1964.Ron attended school in Waverly, graduating from the Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1963. On December 25, 1963, Ron was united in marriage to Jeanette Kay Volker at St. John’s Lutheran Church -Buck Creek, rural Sumner, Iowa. On January 24, 1964, Ron entered the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. On October 22, 1968 Ron was honorably discharged from the service. Ron worked for 11 years at Carnation Company, 4 years with Combined Insurance Company, owned and operated a semi-truck for 2 years and retired from John Deere Company on October 31, 2005 following 28 years of service. Ron was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waverly. Ron felt he was greatly blessed with all of his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and mostly crafting and building with his hands. Ron was credited with numerous engineering improvements while at Carnation and John Deere. Ron is survived by his wife, Jan of Waverly, Iowa, his three daughters and there husbands, Dawn (Chris) Wians of Middleton, Wisconsin, Deb (Evan) Boynton of Berwick, Maine, Daphne (Blake) Bannon of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Zachary & Rachel Wians, Cameron & Paige Boynton, Lauren & Nicole Bannon; 2 step-grandchildren, Evan & Shea Boynton; his father and mother, Lorenze and Virginia Lundberg of Austin, Minnesota; 7 sisters and their spouses, Connie (Gary) Dangelser of Cedar Falls, Mary (Larry) Moses of Hope, Arkansas, Kenda (Bob) Tribble of Orofino, Idaho, Becky Lundberg of Austin, Minnesota, Renee (Todd) Olson of San Marino, California, Patty (Bill) Bray of Carson City, Nevada, Jackie (Loren) Walsh of Whittier, California; three brothers and their spouses, Whitey (Patty) Lundberg and Kim (Becky) Lundberg all of Austin, Minnesota, and Randy (Maren) Lundberg of Shohomish, Washington. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Dorothy and one brother, Calvin Lundberg. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waverly, with Pastor Joyce Sandburg officiating. Burial with military graveside rites was in Harlington Cemetery in Waverly.
