Glenn Crossman 

Glenn Crossman, 76, of Riceville died on September 8, 2001 at Mercy Hosptial in Mason City.

According to Glenn's wishes a memorial service will be held at Crossman's Prairie by the Osage Masonic Lodge on Friday, June 7, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a short walk on the prairie led by Nature Conservancy personnel. Lindstrom Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Glenn was born April 1, 1925 in Alcester, SD, the son of Forrest and Aletha (Hinchcliffe) Crossman. Shortly afer his birth the family moved to the Riceville area. Glenn attended local schools graduating from Riceville High School in 1943. He opened an accounting firm serving Riceville and surrounding area until his retirement.

Glenn was a member of the Riceville United Methodist Church and was active in the Masonic Lodge, The Nature Conservancy, The Paleontological Society, Iowa Academy of Science, Geological Society of Iowa, and the Riceville Industrial Development.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
