Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21, at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Joice from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 22, at the Bethany Lutheran Church, with interment to be for both Roy and Beverly following. Memorials may be directed to the Bethany Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.

Roy was united in marriage to Beverly Haugen on April 21, 1945. He lived at rural Fertile, Joice, Lake Mills, Clear Lake and after his wife's death, in Lincoln, California.

Roy's life was full of memories enjoying many different things from his days in High School musicals, local sporting events, hunting and fishing trips, traveling, golfing, attending the Super Bowl only to see the Vikings lose, and in later years watching his grandson play numerous sports. Roy served as Supervisor for Worth County, also served on the ASCS County Committee, adjusted hail for Farmers Mutual, and was a life long farmer.
