 Andrew 'Cal' Orr

 Andrew 'Cal' Orr, 80, of 2 Glen Oak Circle, Charles City, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City.

There will be no memorial service as his body was donated to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

 Henry Kaiser

Henry J. Kaiser, 81, a resident of 1201 Gilbert St., Charles City, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 29, 1999, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City.

Funeral services for Henry "Hank" Kaiser will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the First Wesleyan Church in Charles City. The Rev. Ted Clark, pastor, will officiate and will be assisted by the Rev. Paul Davis, former pastor. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery at Marble Rock.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church Monday an hour prior to the services.

REINBECK -

Eleanor K. Freed, 70, of Reinbeck, died Friday evening, Nov. 26, 1999, at the Parkview Manor, Reinbeck, after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck. Pastor Richard Boatman will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center. Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck is in charge of the services.

Alberta Wilson

Alberta E. (Mrs. Virgil) Wilson, 75, Windsor Care Center, Cedar Falls, formerly of Colwell, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at the nursing home of natural causes.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday afternoon, Dec. 4, 1999. Burial will be in the Beckwith Cemetery, rural Colwell.

Visitation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, Charles City.

Specific times for the funeral and visitation are pending at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home in Charles City.

 Alberta Wilson 

CEDAR FALLS-

Alberta E. (Mrs. Virgil) Wilson, 75, Windsor Care Center, Cedar Falls, and formerly of 819 Green Street, Cedar Falls, Charles City and Colwell, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999.

A funeral service for Alberta Wilson will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt Street, Charles City. Pastor Gale Richards of the Colwell United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the Beckwith Cemetery, rural Colwell.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home, where the family will be present to receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday evening. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services. Alberta's casket will remain closed.

 Terry Zilm 

YUMA, Ariz. -

Terry L. Zilm, 63, of Yuma, Ariz., died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, in Yuma.

A memorial service was held at the Elks Lodge in Yuma on Nov. 30, 1999.

Terry Lee Zilm was born in Mason City to Lewis F. Zilm and Zola Gretchen (Bluhm) Zilm on Aug. 15, 1936. He grew up in Charles City and still owned the family home there. He has been a resident of Yuma since 1962. He was a manager for a manufacturing company for more than 35 years before his reitrement. He was married to Elaine M. Ewald of Marble Rock.

Living family members include his wife, Elaine of Yuma, Ariz.; a brother, Kawyn L. Zilm and his wife Helen of Hurt, Texas; an aunt, Evelyn Bluhm of Charles City; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene and Norma Ewald of Marble Rock.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott, and an infant daughter, Renee.

Memorials should be sent to Elks Lodge Charities.

Vivian (Mrs. Virgil) Quade, 81, of 400 South Main Street, Charles City, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at her residence.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home in Charles City. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City.

Other arrangements are pending at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home.

Earl J. Rima Sr., 82, of Decorah, died Dec. 6, 1999, at his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Decorah Lutheran Church. Rev. James. Glesne, Rev. Tim Tostengard, Rev. Ole Winter and Rev. Gary F. Krapfl will officiate. Burial will be in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery with full military rites by Helof-Holm V.F.W. Post No. 1977 and Bernatz-Symonds American Legion Post No. 163.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is in charge of the arrangements.

NASHUA - Theodore P. Theilen, 62, of Nashua, formerly of Charles City, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at his home in rural Nashua of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with burial in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in New Haven.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home in Nashua and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. There will be a 3 p.m. Rosary service and a 7 p.m. Scripture Service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Greene, with the Rev. Lance Kittleson officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside Funeral Home, rural Charles City, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Graveside inurnment services were held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 18, 1999, at the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, with the Rev. Greg Lugn, Pastor, First Christian Church/Disciples of Christ, officiating. Graveside Military Rites were conducted by the American Legion, V.F.W. the Vietnam Veterans of America, the Forty and Eight Group and the Veterans of the Vietnam War.

Viola (Garber) Johnson, 79, of Canora, Saskatchewan, Canada, formerly of Marble Rock, Riceville, Ionia, McIntire, Rudd, Osage and Mitchell areas, died Dec. 18, 1999, at the Gateway Lodge in Canora Saskatchewan, Canada, of Alzheimer's disease.

Funeral services were held at Preeceville, Saskatchewan, Canada, on Dec. 22, and at Torquay, Saskatchewan, Canada, on Dec. 27.

Committal services will be held for family and friends at the Sunnyside Memorial Gardens, rural Charles City, on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. This is the only service being held in Iowa.

Samuel G. Houser, 74, of New Hampton, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton of natural causes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Washington, with Rev. Francis Perry officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Washington. Larkin-Martin-Hugeback Funeral Home in New Hampton is in charge of the arrangements.

Helen Yvonne Howard, 77, a long-time resident of Charles City and Jefferson, died Dec. 25, 1999, at Naperville, Ill.
