residents
were
involved
in a
head-on
automobile
collision
on
Thursday,
July 14,
in Palo
Alto
County.
Janice
Honold,
71, of
Hampton
was
killed.
Driver,
Franklin
Delano
Honold,
77, of
Hampton
was
injured.
Passenger
Wayne
VanVeldhuizen
of Lake
Mills
was also
injured.
The
other
driver,
Bruce
Terry
Plucker
of
Curlew,
was
killed.
When the
vehicle
eastbound
on Hwy.
18,
driven
by
Plucker,
swerved
from its
lane
into the
westbound
lane,
occupied
by the
vehicle
Honold
was
driving,
the two
collided
head on.
