Juanita Collins Johnson dies in car-pedestrian crash


January 12, 2006

Juanita Collins Johnson, 79, of Mesa, Arizona, and also of Rockford, Illinois, a childhood resident of Aredale, died in a car-pedestrian accident in Mesa on Monday, January 9, 2006.

She was the daughter of Clarence and Grace Collins. She is survived by her husband, Ray; four children; six brothers and sisters and their families.

Willard Voy

January 12, 2006

Willard Voy, age 84, of Ackley, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at the Eldora Nursing and Rehab.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Ackley, with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery, Ackley. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. A memorial fund has been established. The Sietsema Funeral Home of Ackley is in charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Catherine (Johnson) Williams, 81, of Dows, died on Friday, January 13, 2006, at the Hampton Health Care Center of cancer.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 16, at 1:30 p.m., at the First Lutheran Church in Dows. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dows. The Rev. William Straka will officiate.

Caroline "Cal" Magdalina Bertha Dohrmann Jensen, 91, of rural Coulter, died on Sunday, January 15, 2006, at her home.

Visitation is planned for Sunday, January 22, from 2-4:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Hampton.

Visitation is planned for Friday, January 20, from 4-8:00 p.m., at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. NE, Mason City. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Hospice of North Iowa.
