James H. Slocum, 61, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Sheffield, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2003, in Dallas, Texas.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, January 15, from 4-8:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Interment will be at a later date in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. There will be no memorial service.

Dr. Judson Ferris Mallory, 86, of Washington, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at the Washington County Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 11, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Ron McMenamin officiating. Burial was in the Hampton cemetery.

Visitation is planned for Tuesday, January 14, from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Willim Funeral Home, Latimer and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, at 1:30 p.m., at the Zion Reformed Church, rural Sheffield. Burial will be in the Zion Reformed Church Cemetery.
