Memorial services for Arnold Milliken will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006, at 3:30 p.m., at the Heritage Care Center Chapel, Iowa Falls, with Pastor Scott Clifford officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Wood Cemetery, Ackley. The Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert "Bob" Hayner, 78, of Dumont, Iowa, died on Friday, May 5, 2006, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center-East Campus, Mason City, Iowa.

Visitation is planned for Tuesday, May 9, from 5-7:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home of Dumont. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, at 1:30 p.m., at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Dumont. Burial will be in the Dumont Cemetery, Dumont, Iowa.

Velma L. Atkinson, of the Franklin Prairie Apartments, Hampton, and formerly of Sheffield, died on Sunday, May 7, 2006, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, May 10, from 5-8:00 p.m., at the Retz-Grarup Funeral Home, Sheffield. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Sheffield, with Rev. R. Karl Watkins presiding. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield.

Services were held on Tuesday, May 16, at the Tiowakan Spiritual Center at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Center. The McNearney Funeral Home, Shakopee, Minnesota, was in charge of the arrangements.

Darral J. Patton, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died on Sunday, May 7, 2006. Darral was a 1949 graduate of the Hampton High School.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 12, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery. The Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, was in charge of the arrangements.
