She also had a fondness for the St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the work and focus of its efforts.
Gloria's work life and her life in general was always driven forward to successful accomplishments by her "give it 100%" attitude. For more than 10 years she was the sole operator and owner/editor of "Iowa Discover It" quarterly magazine.
Gloria enjoyed her role as a partner with Les in the farming operations prior to his death in 2002. She was very knowledgeable and skilled at the tasks on the farm.
