Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Raymond Moklestad

FOREST CITY  



Raymond Moklestad, 82, of Forest City, died Saturday (August

31, 1996) at Muse Norris Hospice in Mason City.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel

Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lee Laaveg officiating.  Burial

will be in Madison Township Cemetery.



Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with family

to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petersen Lund Funeral

Home.



Raymond Moklestad was born April 18, 1914 in Hancock County,

south of Forest City.



Survivors include his wife, Viola Moklestad of Forest City;

one daughter, Margaret Trees of Baxter, Minn.; two sons, Norris

Moklestad of Alturas, Calf., and Lynn Moklestad of Forest City;

one sister, Helen Appelquist of Swea City; one brother, Harold

Moklestad of Crystal Lake; and three grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Mona Jean Kaiser

BELMOND  



Mona Jean Kaiser, 72, of Belmond, died Thursday (Aug. 29, 1996)

at her home in the company of family.



A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday

at St. Francis Xavier Church, with Father Jack Paisley and Deacon

Nick Schmit officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Francis Cemetery

with private family services.



Visitation will be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Tenold

Funeral Home in Belmond and one hour prior to service at the

church.  A Rosary will be held at 2:30 p.m. and Scripture service

at 7 p.m.



Mona Jean (Caron) Kaiser, the daughter of Levi and Blanch (Gregoire)

Caron, was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Green Valley, Minn.



She was united in marriage to Joseph H. Kaiser on June 10, 1947,

in Green Valley, Minn., and they farmed for 40 years in the Fulda,

Minn., area. They moved from the farm to Belmondin September

of 1993.



Mona worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Maple Lawn

Nursing Home for 25 years, and also with Hospice.



She enjoyed fishing, loved spending time cooking, and enjoyed

her children, grandchildren and her friends.



She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Catholic Daughters

of the Americas, Rosary Society and member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.



Survivors include her husband, Joe, of Belmond; daughters, the

Rev. Carol Kaiser of Des Moines; Mary Ann Lohse and her husband,

Larry, of Belmond, and Joyce David of Slayton, Minn.; sons, Donald

Kaiser and his wife, Patricia, of No. Mankato, Minn., and the

Rev. Richard Kaiser and his wife, Beth, of Des Moines; grandchildren,

JoAnn Lohse, Heidi and Heather Kaiser, Joshua and Jonathan Kaiser

and Marty Davis; brothers, Leroy Caron of Perham, Minn.; Merlyn

Caron of Tracy, Minn., and Harold Caron of Edina, Minn.; and

sisters, Donna Boerboom of Marshall, Minn.; Yvonne Tillemans

of Marshall, Minn., and Mary Jo Szarzynski of Edina, Minn.



She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Louis.

Clarence Alvyn Buss, 76, of Dumont, died Friday (August 30,

1996) at his home.

will be in Dumont Cemetery.



Visitation will by from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Sietsema-Vogel

Funeral Home.



Clarence Alvyn Buss was born Aug. 13, 1920 in Wahpeton, N.D.



Survivors include his wife, Bobbye Annette Henry Buss of Dumont;

two sons, Richard Henry of Cedar Falls, and Rodney Henry of Scottsdale,

Ariz; two daughters, Kim Winterhof of Cedar Falls, and Jill Bean

of Cedar Falls; one sister, Emma Loll of Wahpeton, N.D.; and

eight grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents, one wife, one brother,

and three sisters.

at Westview Care Center, Britt.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Josephs

Catholic Church, Wesley, with the Rev. Paul Bormann officiating.



Visitation will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Garry-Robert-Murphy-

Schaaf Funeral Home in Wesley.  There will be a parish rosary at 3

p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and a parish prayer service at 7:30

p.m. Monday at the funeral home.



Survivors include two sons, John Goetz of Virginia, Ill., and

Edward Goetz of Wesley; two daughters, Donna Grandgenett of Algona,

and Kay Schrauth, Emmetsburg; four grandchildren, and 10 great

grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five

brothers.

Rose G. Swenson

Rose G. Swenson, 94, of Thompson, died Friday (August 30, 1996)

at North Iowa Mercy Health Center.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany

Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Perry Fruhling officiating.  Burial

will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.



Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Winter Funeral

Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.



Rose Geneva Swenson was born on January 23, 1902 in Neils Spur,

Winnebago County.



Survivors include four sons, Donald Swensen, Alan Swenson, Dick

Swenson, and Adolph Swenson all of Thompson; five grandchildren;

and 10 great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant

daughter, a grandson, one sister, and seven brothers.

Lenore G. Loring

MASON CITY  



Lenore E. Loring, 96, of 302 Second Street N.E., died Friday

(August 30, 1996) at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.



Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oakwood

Cemetery.  The Rev. Richard D. Sheerer, of First Congregational

United Church of Christ, will be officiating.  Interment will

be in Oakwood Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.



Lenore Gene Loring was born in Mason City on Aug. 17, 1900 the

daughter of Ernest E. and Sarah Jane (Johnson) Claus of Mason

City.



Lenore attended school and Sunday school with Meredith Willson.

 She graduated from Mason City High School and then went on to

Hamilton's School of Business.



Lenore lived her entire life in Mason City and worked for Hedrick

Brothers Business Supply as a secretary for 38 years and retired

in 1975.  



Lenore married W.V. Loring on July 6, 1946 in Mason City.  She

was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ,

and a member of the Women's Fellowship Group, and a member of

the Queen Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years.



Survivors include one step-daughter, Mary Lorring Knight (Mrs.

R.A.) of Burlington; two step-granddaughters, Sandra Algood of

Burlington, and Margaret Zeran of Burlington; six step-great-

grandchildren; cousins, Mrs. Vera Poppe of Plymouth, Elsie Fisher

of Mason City, and Dorothy Warner of Mason City; and close friends,

Max and Ava Hedrick of Cedar Rapids, and Ken and Betty Hedrick of

Mason City.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister,

Ernestine Brown.

Ruby Marie Willock

MASON CITY  



Ruby Marie Willock, 81, of 418 Twentieth Place N.E., died Friday

(August 30, 1996) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.



Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Our Saviour's

Lutheran Church, 2502 S. Jefferson.  Interment will follow in

Elmwood St. Joseph cemetery.



Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Fullerton

Patterson James Funeral Home, 123 Second S.E.  Those planning

an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Hospice of

North Iowa.



Ruby was born Nov. 25, 1914 in Elk City, Okla., to Daniel and

Myrtle (Schooler) Belknap.  She was united in marriage to Waldo

Willock on April 2, 1946.  Following their marriage, they moved

to the Blue Earth County area where they resided until moving

to the Mason City area in 1987.



Ruby and Waldo spent 21 years as ``Snowbirds'' in Yuma, Ariz.

where they enjoyed the warmth and friendship of others.



Friends and family members were fortunate to reap the rewards

of her talents for quilting, making afgans, and doing needlework.

 She also enjoyed gardening and canning.  If one was lucky they

got a sample of her very special lemon pie.



She was a member the Golden Wedding Anniversary Club, and Our

Savior's Lutheran Church.



Ruby Willcock is survived by her husband, Waldo of Mason City;

three daughters, Mrs. Vern (Patricia) Ellwein of Valdez, Alaska,

Mrs. Mark (Ann) Dodge, of Mason City, and Katherine Willock of

Topeka, Kan.; one son, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell (Kathy) Willock of

Mason City; eight grandchildren, Laura Eckart, Traci Curry, Mattew,

Michael, Nathaniel, and Aaron Dodge, Jennifer and Betsy Willock;

and four great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by parents; one sister, Opal May Lucrisi;

and one brother, Oren Belknap.

Burial will be in the Pilot Knob Lutheran Cemetery, Forest City.

Lund Funeral Home, Forest City.



Ella O. Pederson was born on a farm in Hancock County, on November

28, 1897, the daughter of Ole and Carrie (Mikkelson) Halverson.

She attended rural school and went to Waldorf Academy form 1914-1915.

She was married to Ole Pederson at the Lutheran Parsonage in

Gertile in 1926.  The couple moved to Minneapolis, Minn. where

Ella worked in a millinery shop, keeping the books and other

secretarial duties.  She and Ole returned home and began farming

in 1927.  



An excellent cook and hostess, Ella loved to prepare meals for

family and friends.  She enjoyed visiting and her grandchildren

remember her as a wonderful storyteller.  Music was an important

part of Ella's life.  She liked to garden and canned produce.

She was baptized and confirmed at Pilot Knob Lutheran Church

and was a life-long member there.  She moved to Clear Lake in

1981.



Ella died at Muse Norris Hospice in Mason City on Aug. 31, 1996

at the age of 98 years.  She is survived by a son and his wife,

Leland and Naomi Pederson of Clear Lake, 10 grandchildren and

11 great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ole who

died in 1968; a son Wesley Pederson; two daughters, Marilyn Lichtsinn

and Bonnie N. Pederson; a grandson, Thomas Odom, a great-granddaughter,

Carrisa Odom; two brothers,  Clarence and Lewis; five sister,

Marie, Helena, Julia, Emma and Vina and an infant sister.

Elizabeth M. ``Liz'' or ``Tootie'' Vega, 65, of 1138 E. State

St., died Saturday (August 31, 1996) at St. Mary's Hospital,

Rochester, Minn.



A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family

Catholic Church, 714 N. Adams, with Liz's brother, the Reverend

Ray Grimes, and the Reverend John R. Kremer officiating.  Inurement

will be at a later date in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason

City.



Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial

Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., where a Catholic Daughters of America

rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a scriptural wake service

will be held at 7 p.m.



Those wishing to extend an expression of sympathy to the Vega

family may do so in memory of Liz to the Elizabeth M. Vega Memorial

Fund.



Elizabeth M. Vega was born Oct. 29, 1930 at Indianapolis, Ind.,

a daughter of Leroy and Margaret (Genz) Grimes.



She was raised in Dubuque, and graduated from Immaculate Conception

Academy in 1949.



She was united in marriage to Raymond ``Mony'' Vega on Sept.

9, 1952 at Ft. Huakucha, Ariz.   They resided in several towns

in Iowa including Dubuque, Ossian, Danbury, Lost Nation, and

Oxford Junction before settling in Mason City.



Liz worked for Office of Economic Opportunities in Jones County,

starting the first day-care center.  She was the first runner-up

for the Jones County Mother of the Year Award in 1974.



Liz received a lung transplant Aug. 24, 1991 at St. Mary's Hospital,

Rochester Minn., where she was the oldest lung transplant recipient

in the United States, and the only patient to go back to work

after her surgery.



Liz recently retired in May 1996 from the Department of Human

Services, income maintenance, where she has worked for 25 years.



Liz was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City.



Liz enjoyed baking (especially fudge), needle craft, and shopping

year round for Christmas presents.



She will be sadly missed by her family.



Liz would want to mention the great care and compassion she

received from the staff at the Mayo Clinic and St. Mary's Hospital.



Survivors include her husband Raymond ``Mony'' Vega, of Mason

City; six children, Sandy Redeker and her husband Jim of Mason

City, Tom Vega and his wife Pam of St. Charles, Minn., Roy Vega

and his wife Peggy of Mason City, Dennis Vega of Kansas City,

Kan., Lori Chapin and her husband David of Forest City, and Mark

Vega and his fiancee Rhea Eylers of Mason City; eight grandchildren,

Cory Redeker, Carrie Schultz, Geri and Beth Vega of Mason City,

Reece and Britany Vega of St. Charles, Minn., and Sammantha and

Chet Chapin of Forest City; two great-grandchildren, Nicole Behrends

and Cody Maulsby of Mason City; three brothers, Donald Grimes

and his wife Lou of Dubuque, Father Ray Grimes of Lamar, Colo.,

and Wally Grimes and his wife Grace of Greensboro, NC.; two sisters,

Margaret Kieffer and her son, ``Scoots'', and Virgina Grimes

all of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian James Fencl, 28, of Mason City, died Friday (Aug. 30,

1996) at University Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Trinity

Catholic Church, Protivin, with the Rev. Allan Schmitt officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.



Balik Funeral Home, Spillville, is in charge of arrangements.



Brian James Fencl was born Dec. 11, 1967, in Cresco.



Survivors include his mother, JoAnn Brookins and his stepfather,

Ron Lechtenberg; a stepbrother, Jim Lechtenberg, and stepsister,

Lois Lechtenberg, all of Ionia; his father, Jim Fencl of Charles

City; one brother, Brad, of Rockford; half-brother, Brent Fencl

and half-sister, Jamie, both of Charles City; and maternal grandparents,

Robert and Isabell Brookins of New Hampton.



He was preceded in death by one sister and his paternal grandparents.

John R. Larson, 35, of Ventura, died Thursday (Aug. 29, 1996).



Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ward-Van

Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the

Rev. Fred Lewis of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church officiating.

Inurnment will be in  Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha.



Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.



The family suggests memorials be made to the John R. Larson

Memorial Fund.



John was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Britt, the son of Gene and Gladys

(Hartwig) Larson.



He graduated from Ventura High School.



John enjoyed oil painting, fishing and playing the guitar.



He is survived by six brothers and sisters, Susan Monson of

Riceville; Margaret Spilman and her husband, Dennis, of Clear

Lake; Bonnie Henderson and her husband, Dan, of Ireton; Debra

Meendering and her husband, Larry, of Rapid City, S.D.; Karen

Frampton and her husband, Tim, of Clear Lake; and James Larson

of Ventura; his grandmother, Cecil Larson of Humboldt; and many

nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rochester, Minn.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the

United Church of Rowan with the Rev. JoAn Lent Skyrme  and Mark

Young of the Clarion Church of Christ officiating. Burial will

During his leisure time, one could find him visiting with the

people he worked for and attending all the air shows he possibly

could.

Esther Parmenter of Albert Lea, Minn.; Mrs. Mary Pryor of Des

Funeral services for Ginger L. Reinig-Lazdins, 40, of Booneville,

Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Des Moines.  Ms. Lazdins died  Sunday

(Sept. 1, 1996) at her home of cancer.



Cremation will follow the funeral services and her cremated

remains will be interred in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery,

Des Moines.



Ginger was born May 4, 1956, at Des Moines.  She was the daughter

of Donald A. and June (Rapp) Reinig.  She was a resident of Des

Moines most of her life, having moved to Booneville in 1990.



She is survived by four children, Nicole Grandstaff of Huntington,

Ark.; Brad Reinig of Des Moines; and Lia Lazdins and Tyler Lazdins,

both of Booneville; her mother and stepfather, June and Al Nelson

of Klemme; her brother, Larry Reinig of Des Moines; and her sisters,

Linda Wastier of Mason City; Patty Schmidt of Des Moines; Cathy

Schroeder of Des Moines; Cindy Henderson of Des Moines, and Paula

Johnson of Waukee.



Also surviving are her half sisters, Rae Ann Nichols of Winterset,

and Amber Breakbill of Keokuk; her grandmother, Pauline Coates

of Mason City; her former husband, John Lazdins of Booneville;

and her brother-in-law, Stephen Brown of Cedar Rapids.  In addition,

she is survived by two grandchildren.

Glenn was born June 20, 1903, in Belmond, the son of David and

Mabel Keeling Morris.  He grew up in the Belmond area where he

attended country schools, graduating from Belmond High School

in 1922.



On Feb. 16, 1927, he was united in marriage with Ruby LaGue

in Rowan.  The couple made their home southwest of Belmond where

Glenn farmed and also sold Archer's Oil for many years.  In 1987,

the couple moved into Belmond.



On Oct. 20, 1993, Glenn entered the Belmond Health Care Center.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Odd Fellows.



He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one son, Derl and his wife,

Betty, of Belmond; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kerry, Brian,

RoxAnne and Valarie; three stepgrandchildren, Rick, David and

Dennis Welsh; one brother, Francis and his wife, Viola, of Belmond;

two sisters-in-law, LaVonne Morris of Albert Lea, Minn., and

Esther LaGue of Mason City; and one brother-in-law, Gerald Knight

of Rowan.



He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gordon; and

Ralph Arlington Beane, 90, of West View Care Center, Britt,

where he had  been a resident since June 1996, and  formerly

of Prairie View Apartments in Garner and Nevada, died Sunday

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5,

at the Memorial Lutheran Church, 11th and G Avenue, Nevada, with

Municipal Cemetery.

Ralph Arlington Beane was born Oct. 23, 1905, in LeGrand, to

Dr. Burnice H. and Nellye (Carey) Beane.



Ralph Beane was a 1923 graduate of LeGrand High School. He graduated

from William Penn College, Oskaloosa, in 1927, later receiving

a master's degree from Iowa State College, Ames.



Ralph was united in marriage to Eunice H. Askelson on March

28, 1936, in Iowa City.



Ralph was superintendent of schools in Gilbert, Lone Rock, Everly,

Green Mountain and Steamboat Rock schools.



Before his retirement in 1971, he was a principal at Rudd, Rockford,

and Marble Rock Schools.



He was a birthright member of the Friends Church in LeGrand,

and was an active member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada

and held offices at the and state level.



Through the years, Ralph was active in and held offices in the

Iowa State Education Association, Masonic Lodge, Lions and Kiwanis

Clubs, and the American Red Cross.



He was a Boy Scout leader and an R.S.V.P. volunteer for 25 years,

totaling 18,700 hours of service.



Ralph was instrumental in establishing the Nevada Senior Citizens

Center, the Fellowship Luncheons and the Meadows Senior Housing

Apartments.



Ralph took great joy in his family. He was an avid sportsman.



Survivors include  one son, Blaine D. Beane of Barrington Hills,

Ill.; one daughter, Karen Norstrud of Britt; nine grandchildren;

and 22 great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice, in January of

1986; a daughter, Alanna Nelson in 1986; and three brothers,

Raymond, Lewis and Elmo Beane.

served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He loved to fish

and hunt.  He also was a general handyman.

Dwight D. Conlon was born on June 2, 1934, in Moorland, the

son of Emmett and Florence (Gleim) Conlon.



He attended school in Moorland before finishing his education

in Lohrville.



After graduation, he entered the United States Army serving

in the Korean Conflict.



Upon returning home, he was united in marriage to LaVonne Abbas

on June 1, 1957, in the Zion Reformed Church, rural Sheffield.



They made their home in Omaha for a short time while he attended

the Universal Trade School before moving to Hampton where they

operated the Standard Station.



In 1962, they moved to Sheffield and operated the Standard tank

truck until 1971, when they originated D & L Sanitation which

they still operate.



Dwight enjoyed riding motorcycles, his dunebuggy and spending

time with his grandchildren.



He was a member of the Zion-St. John Lutheran Church of Sheffield,

where he served on the church board for two terms; the Sheffield

Fire Department; Sheffield Lions Club and the American Legion.



He is survived by his wife, LaVonne, of Sheffield; one son,

Scott and his wife, Jill, of Sheffield; one daughter, Deanne

Conlon of Larado, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Karla Conlon of

Vermillion, S.D.; two grandchildren, Erin and Tyler; one brother,

Roland ``Connie'' Conlon and his wife, Betty, of Fort Dodge;

and one sister-in-law, Eunice Conlon of Ozark, Mo.

Howard Ray Shanks was born June 28, 1931, at Mason City, a son

of Leonard B. and Gladys H. (Anderson) Shanks.



He attended Nora Springs schools. Howard enlisted in the U.S.

Air Force and was stationed in Greenland.



Following his service in the Air Force, he moved to Sarasota,

Fla., where he taught ballroom dancing for a number of years.



He enjoyed collecting antiques.



Howard is survived by two sisters, Dorothy M. Franks, Cedar

Rapids, and Ester M. Ford, Nora Springs; six brothers, Burton

E. Shanks, Mason City; H. Earl Shanks, Mason City; George E.

Shanks, Caliente, Calif.; Glen D. Shanks, Glen Ellen, Ill.; David

A. Shanks, Burleson, Texas, and Larry D. Shanks of Nevada; and

many nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents.

William `Bill' Franklin Lane

MANLY  



William ``Bill'' Franklin Lane, 48, of Arden Hills, Minn., formerly

of Manly, died Monday (Sept. 2, 1996) at the Ramsey County Medical

Center in St. Paul, Minn.



Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem

Lutheran Church, Manly, with the Rev. David Olson officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 18 West, Mason

City.



Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Bride Colonial

Chapel, 110 E. Spring St., Manly, and one hour prior to service

time on Friday at the church.



William ``Bill'' Franklin Lane was born on Aug. 22, 1948, in

Mason City, the son of Maurice and Betty (Tibbits) Lane.



He was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in

Manly, and graduated from North Central High School in Manly

in 1966.



After completing his schooling, he worked for the Chrysler Corporation

in Rockford, Ill.



From there he moved to St. Paul, Minn., where he worked several

years as a bartender at restaurants and supper clubs.



In recent years, he was a supervisor for the Montage Corporation

in St. Paul, Minn.



He enjoyed boating and was an all around sports enthusiast.



Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Maurice and Betty

Lane of Manly; four sisters, Sandra Stauner of Vadnais Heights,

Minn.; Sheryl Kelber and her husband, Ron, of White Bear Lake,

Minn.; Rene Albold and her husband, Tom, of Blaine, Minn., and

Bonnie Hagen and her husband, Mike, of Hanlontown; 12 very special

nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews; longtime

friends, Joe Lombardi of St. Paul, Minn., and Mike Schleifer

of Arizona; as well as other relatives and friends.



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank

and Pauline Lane; and his maternal grandparents, Gladys Davies

and William Tibbits.

Dennis E. Logan

CHARLES CITY  



Dennis Earl ``Denny'' Logan, 42, of 304 Fourth Ave., died Monday

(Sept. 2, 1996) at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, New Hampton.



A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate

Conception Church, Highway 18 and Clark St., with Monsignor Stanley

J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.



Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton

Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with a 7:30 p.m. Scriptural

wake service. There will be further visitation one hour prior

to services Friday at the church.



Survivors include his mother, Thelma Logan of Charles City;

one brother, Tom Logan of Waterloo; and one sister, Becky Severin

of Charles City.



He was preceded in death by his father.
