Ila Tanner, 89, of 1168 Maple Dr., died Saturday (March 30,

1996) at her home.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity

Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave.



Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Major-Erickson

Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave, where other arrangements

are incomplete.

Andrew G. Hacker

EMMONS, MINN.  



Andrew G. Hacker, 71, died Sunday (March 31, 1996) at his home.



Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lime

Creek Lutheran Church, rural Lake Mills with the Rev. Alf Merseth

officiating.  Burial will be in the Lime Creek Evangelical Lutheran

Cemetery.



Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mittelstadt Funeral

Home, Lake Mills, and one hour prior to services at the church

on Wednesday.



Andrew G. Hacker was born Oct. 9, 1924 at Eagle Grove.



Survivors include his wife, Darlene Hacker of Emmons; three

sons, Martin A. Hacker of Twin Lakes, Minn., David Hacker of

Lake Mills, and Tommy Hacker of Clear Lake; two daughters, Janis

Prenger of Lake City, Minn., and Nadine Hacker of Emmons; nine

grandchildren; one great-grandson; six brothers, Albert Hacker

and Robert Hacker, both of Albert Lea, Minn., Frank Hacker, Carl

Hacker, Raymond Hacker, and Gordon Hacker, all of Emmons; two

sisters, Maxine Helland of Emmons, and Edythe Thompson of Twin

Lakes, Minn.



He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Robert E. Hoover

BRITT  



Robert E. Hoover, 85, died Saturday (March 30, 1996) at Hancock

County Memorial Hospital.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United

Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Bailey officiating.  Burial

will be in Evergreen Cemetery.



Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ewing

Funeral Chapel.



Robert E. Hoover was born Feb. 14, 1911 in Alexander.



Survivors include his wife, Helen Hoover of Britt; two daughters,

Shirley Ryburn of Britt, and Jackie MacVey of Ames; nine 

grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three

brothers.
