Ardis Bertha Shaw, 1924-2001

Ardis Bertha Shaw, 77, died on
Thursday, December 13, 2001, at
her home.
Funeral services
were held on Monday, December
17, at 10:30 a.m., at the Salem
United Methodist Church in
Meservey, officiated by the Rev.
Dan Voss.
Ardis was born on
June 17, 1924, on the family
farm in Wisner Township,
Franklin County, to Heiko Jacob
and Grace Lycinda (Hafermann)
Janssen. She attended Center
School #5 in Wisner Township and
graduated from the Meservey High
School.
On August 25,
1942, Ardis was united in
marriage with Wayne K. Shaw in
Bethany, Missouri.
Ardis was a
member of the Salem United
Methodist Church in Meservey,
where she was baptized and
confirmed. She was a member of
the Ruth Circle and the quilters
group.
Ardis was committed to her
family, she always arrived early
for her grandchildren's school
programs. She was a 4-H Leader
for more than 25 years and a
member of the American Legion
Auxiliary and the Golden Years
Club. She also played with the
Meservey Kitchen Lassies for
many years. Ardis liked to
quilt, she made baby quilts for
each member of her family.
Ardis is survived
by her children, Bertha Shaw of
Eagle Grove, Kenneth Shaw and
wife, Linda of Meservey, Arnold
Shaw and wife, Doreen of
Meservey and Lucinda Zieman and
husband, David of Meservey;
grandchildren, Michelle Duff and
husband, Rob, Kendra Wilson and
husband, Scott, Chad Shaw and
wife, Ranae, Nikki Thompson and
husband, Jay, Krista Dickman and
husband, Joey, Kelly Zieman,
Brian Zieman and Michael Zieman;
great-grandchildren, Amber, Kyle
& Hailey Duff, Sadie & Seth
Wilson, Spencer & Connor Shaw;
and a brother, Vern Janssen of
Belmond.
Ardis was
preceded in death by her
parents; husband; 2 brothers;
and one granddaughter.

Gladys Marie Dixon, 1908-2001
December 26, 2001
Gladys Marie Dixon, 93, of the
Good Shepherd Health Center,
died on Sunday, December 16,
2001, at the Muse Norris Hospice
Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
Funeral services
were held at 10:30 a.m., on
Wednesday, December 19, at the
Wesley United Methodist church,
with the Rev. Bill Poland
officiating. Interment followed
in the Pleasant View Cemetery,
Thornton. Visitation was held
from 5-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at
the Fullerton Funeral Home,
Mason City and continued on
Wednesday one hour prior to the
services at the church.
Gladys was born
on July 27, 1908, the daughter
of Jules and Emma (Portner)
Nicolet in Cleghorn. Her family
lived in the Iowa Falls area for
a couple of years before they
moved to Thornton, where Gladys
graduated from high school.
Following high school, Gladys
received further education at
the Iowa State Teachers College.
She returned to teach rural
schools for several years.
On February 6, 1937, Gladys was
united in marriage to Arthur
Lyle Dixon at the First United
Methodist Church Parsonage in
Mason City. The couple lived on
a farm near Meservey for five
years before moving to the farm
southwest of Mason city. Gladys
moved to the nursing home in
1982 and spent most of the next
twenty years there.
During Gladys'
younger years she enjoyed doing
needlework, including tatting
and embroidery work. She enjoyed
the activities and worship
services at Good Shepherd even
though she had suffered a stroke
34 years ago and was left
paralyzed on her left side.
Gladys never considered herself
handicapped. She loved attending
her children's and
grandchildren's school and
church programs. Gladys enjoyed
attending birthday parties and
always looked forward to
Christmas. She was an avid
reader who could not wait to get
her hands on the newspaper.
Gladys was a
member of the Wesley United
Methodist Church, the Wesley
United Methodist Women, and the
Bath Farm Women.
Those thankful
for having shared in Gladys'
life include her son, Delton
Dixon and his wife, LeAnn of
Mason City; one sister, Mabel
Oehlert of Rockwell; three
grandchildren, Sara Broers and
her husband, Todd of Mason City,
Jeff Dixon and his wife,
Michelle of Mason City and Kari
McMannes and her husband, Jeremy
of Suwanee, Georgia; six
great-grandchildren, Justin and
Jenna Dixon, Blaine and Garrett
Broers and Austin and Connor
McMannes.
Mrs. Dixon was
preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Arthur in
1971; six sisters, Edith, Alice,
Rose, Emma, Nellie, Helen; and
two brothers, Armand and Henry.

Timothy S. Hauge, 32, of Garner,
formerly of Mason City, died on
Sunday, December 16, 2001, at
the Mercy Medical Center-North
Iowa, Mason City.
Funeral services
were held on Wednesday, December
19, at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial
Chapel, Mason City. The Rev.
Joel Dahlen, officiated. Burial
will be in the Elmwood-St.
Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.
Timothy Scott
Hauge, was born on October 26,
1969 at Bellflower, California.
He was the son of Ronald and
Candace (Kamm) Hauge. He was a
graduate of the Mason City High
School.
He was employed
at Stellar Industries, Garner.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing,
hunting, and especially spending
time with his two boys.
Survivors include
his parents, Ronald and Candace
Hauge, Mason City; two sons,
Zachary Hauge, Mason City and
Nicholas Hauge, Garner; one
brother, Dave Hauge and his
wife, Amy of Boone; maternal
grandmother, Pearl Kamm of Mason
City; paternal grandmother,
Myrtle Hauge of Mason City; and
one niece and one nephew,
several aunts, uncles, and
cousins.
He was preceded
in death by his maternal and
paternal grandfathers.

Eugenia Clement, 1923-2001
December 26, 2001
Eugenia B. Clement, 78, died on
Monday, December 17, 2001, at
the Concord Care Center, Garner,
from complications of
Alzheimer's disease.
Her funeral was
held on Wednesday, December 19,
at the United Presbyterian
Church in Garner, with the Rev.
Roger Kallem officiating. Music
was provided by organist, Audrey
Sonnenberg who accompanied
soloist, Sheree Pedersen and
congregational hymns. Ushers
were Norman Henschen and Eldon
Pearson.
Casket bearers
were Ron Kester, Jerry Kester,
Merle Clement, Dale Martin, Jim
Deibler and Mike Halverson.
Interment was in the Concord
Township Cemetery. The Cataldo
Funeral Home was in charge of
the arrangements.
Eugenia Bess
Clement, the daughter of Emil
and Olga (Schweers) Riff, was
born on December 7, 1923 at
Hondo, Texas. She attended the
Murphy School near Hondo and
graduated from the Hondo High
School in 1941. After
graduation, she attended Trinity
College in San Antonio, Texas
and was employed at the air
force base in Hondo during WW
II. It was there she met her
future husband, Roland A.
Clement. They were married at
Hondo on June 10, 1945.
The couple lived
in Hondo and later moved to
Monroe, Louisiana, where Mr.
Clement was stationed in the Air
Force. Following his discharge,
they moved to Webster City, Des
Moines and in 1947 moved to
Miller, where they farmed and
raised their family. Mrs.
Clement worked a variety of jobs
in the area and in 1990 retired
from Winnebago Industries. She
enjoyed sewing, reading, playing
games and was known for her
cooking and cake baking.
She was a member
of the United Presbyterian
Church, UPW and served on the
session. She also was a member
of the Homemakers Club. She did
volunteer work for the March of
Dimes.
Survivors include
nine children, Gary Clement of
Forest City, Elizabeth Smith and
her husband, Daniel of Coon
Rapids, Minnesota, Craig Clement
of Garner, Bruce Clement and
wife, Laurel of Garner and their
three children, Josah, Chelsea
and Logan, Joan Hillier of
Chehalis, Washington and her
daughter, Morgan, Douglas
Clement and wife, Mary of Garner
and their three children,
Nicole, Katie and Alex, Spencer
Clement and wife, Karin of Fort
Dodge and their three daughters,
Machelle, Jessie and Barbara,
Stuart Clement and wife, Angie
of Miller and their three
children, Karlee, Breann and
Spencer and Muriel Poppens and
husband, Scott of Cedar Falls
and their two children, Matthew
and Megan
Also surviving
are a sister, Ethel Martin and
husband, Joe of Hondo, Texas; a
sister-in-law, Gertrude Riff of

Lawrence Guernsey of Lake Mills;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by her husband, Roland
on August 1, 1990; son, Neal on
September 11, 1983; parents; and
a brother, James Riff.

Nova T. Gelner, 1915-2001

Life long Klemme resident, Nova
T. Gelner, died on Monday,
December 17, 2001, at the Muse
Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit,
Mason City. She was 86.
Funeral services
were held on Saturday, December
22, at the United Methodist
Church in Klemme, with the Rev.
Paddy Druhl officiating. Music
was provided by organist,
Margaret Tue who accompanied
congregational hymns. Special
music was presented by pianist,
Sue Gilland who accompanied a
vocal duet of Bill Renner and
Crystal Greiman. Ushers were
John Schwichtenberg and Lance
Arnold.
Honorary bearers
were Jill Thorson, Sue Gilland,
Sandra Schupanitz, Jodi Cagle,
Angela Best, Stacie Harrison,
Crystal Greiman and Sheryl
Stokesbary. Casket bearers were

Nova Theo Gelner,
the daughter of Albert G. and
Lillie M. (Lau) Koerner, was
born on July 7, 1915 at Klemme,
where she grew up and spent her
entire life. She graduated from
the Klemme High School in 1932.
On September 5, 1935, she was
united in marriage to Orville
Thomas Stokesbary at Lakota. The
couple had three children,
Janice, Jerry and Julie. Orville
Stokesbary died on December 9,
1950.
Nova married Leon
Karl Gelner on March 2, 1956 at
Albert Lea, Minnesota. They
lived in Klemme until her health
failed and she became a resident
at the Concord Care Center in
Garner on June 4, 2001.
Mrs. Gelner
enjoyed her family and
grandchildren, their friends,
camping, square dancing,
traveling to the Hawaiian
Islands, flowers and their pet
cats. She was a member of the
Klemme United Methodist Church
and had been a member of UMW and
Circle, Square Dancers and
Campers, garden club and was
previously a Cub Scout Leader
and a 4-H Leader.
Survivors include
her husband of 45 years, Leon
Gelner of Klemme; three
children, Janice Janssen and her
husband, Marvin of Garner, Jerry
Stokesbary and his wife, Sharon
of Mason City and Julie Renner
and her husband, Bill of Garner;
eight grandchildren, Dr. Steven
Stokesbary and his wife, Sheryl,
Jill Thorson and her husband,
Todd, Sue Gilland and her
husband, Tom, Sandra Schupanitz
and her husband, Brent, Jodi
Cagle and her husband, Jason,
Angela Best and her husband,
Michael, Stacie Harrison and her

Harm D. Terhark, 1931-2001

Harm D. Terhark, of Corwith,
died on Monday, December 17,
2001. He was 70.
Funeral services
were held on Thursday, December
20, at the St. John Lutheran
Church, Corwith. The Rev. Ronald
Feuerhak officiated. Music was
provided by organist, Catherine
Devine who accompanied
congregational hymns. Usher were
Richard Hankom and Craig
Steenhard
Casket bearers
were Bruce Terhark, Joshua Hays,
Brian Terhark, Michael Robinson,
Kennth Hays, Curtis Terhark,
Carroll Terhark and Kenneth
Terhark. Burial was in the
Corwith Cemetery. A flag
presentation was by the Corwith
American Legion. The Ewing
Funeral Chapel of Britt was in
charge of the arrangements.
Harm Duane
Terhark, was born on March 31,
1931, to Fred and Anna Terhark,
rural Kanawha. He was the second
of eight children. Harm began
earning a living at a very young
age, working for neighboring
farmers. He built a successful
farming operation in the Corwith
area. In addition to his farming
operations, Mr. Terhark was
involved in various business
enterprises including a salesman
for Schroeder and Terhark
Trailer Sales. He was often the
top dealership for Kiefer Built
trailers.
Mr. Terhark was a
member of the St. John Lutheran
Church, Corwith. He served on
the church council on several
occasions. Mr. Terhark was a
committed family man and was
involved in the Corwith
community as well. He served on
the school board at the local
community school for several
years. He gave of his time and
generosity to the community.
He is survived by
his wife, Jean (Nelson) and four
children, Marquita Hays of Fort
Dodge, Bruce Terhark of Corwith,
Paula Robinson of West Des
Moines and Brian Terhark of
Waukee; seven siblings,
Elizabeth Terhark of St. Paul,
Minnesota, Curtis Terhark of St.
Ansgar, Marge Kavaya of Mason
City, Ilene Brown of Mason City,
Carroll Terhark of Mason City,
Kenneth Terhark of Britt and
Linda Paulsen of Mason City; 11

Richard "Dick" T. O'Connor, 86,
of Rockford, died on Wednesday
December 19, 2001, at the Nora
Springs Care Center.
Funeral services
were held at 10:30 a.m., on
Saturday, December 22, 2001, at
the Holy Name Catholic Church,
Rockford. The Rev. Leo Riley
officiated. Interment was in the
Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery,
Rockwell. The
Fullerton-Schumburg Funeral Home
of Rockford was in charge of the
arrangements.
Dick O'Connor,
was born on August 20, 1915 in
Cartersville, Iowa. He was the
son of Thomas and Myrtle (Frint)
O'Connor. He attended and
graduated from the Rockwell High
School.
On February 3, 1937, he was
united in marriage to Mary
"Myrtle" Paulus at the Holy Name
Catholic Church in Rockford. Mr.
O'Connor started farming but
realized that trucking was what
he enjoyed. He enjoyed doing his
own maintenance and repairs on
the trucks. He was a member of
the Holy Name Catholic Church.
Survivors include
his wife, Myrtle; two daughters,
Mary Ann Martzahn and her
husband, Roger of Greene and
Karen Dow and her husband, Bob
of Rudd; two sons, Gerald
"Jerry" O'Connor and his wife,
Maxine of Mason City and John

Swalve, of Fremont, California,
died on Thursday, December 20,
2001, at Hayward, California.
She was 78.
Funeral services

Friday, December 28, at the Zion
Evangelical and Reformed Church
in Garner, with the Rev. Dean
Stille officiating. Music will
be provided by organist,
Margaret Jass who will accompany
congregational hymns. Ushers

Lorraine Swalve,
the daughter of Bernard and
Cecil (Bryant) Knoll, was born
on December 6, 1923 at Belmond.
At an early age, she moved with
her family to a farm northeast
of Garner and later into Garner.
She graduated from the Garner
High School in 1941, as
valedictorian of her class.
After graduation, she was
employed by the Northwestern
Bell Telephone Company in Garner
and then Maben Insurance for
several years.
On May 14, 1947,
she was united in marriage to
Raymond B. Swalve. They lived in
Garner until the summer of 1970
when they moved to Fremont,
California. Lorraine was a
devoted homemaker.
She is survived
by her husband, Raymond of
Fremont, California; two
sisters, Irma Haaf of Garner and
LaVon Lemke of Garner; and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by her parents; a
brother, Elmer Knoll; and three
sisters, Elsie Dorenkamp,
Isabelle Dankbar and Reta Juhl.

Aldean Shipman, 1926-2001

Aldean Shipman, daughter of Carl
and Paulina Tjeranson Nerem,
went home to be with her Lord
and Savior on Thursday, December
27, 2001.
Funeral services were held on
Sunday, December 30, 2001, at
the St. John Lutheran Church in
Corwith, Iowa.
She was born on
January 19, 1926, and was 75
years, 11 months, and eight days
old at the time of her death.
Aldean received her education in
the rural schools in Wright
County and graduated from the
Renwick High School.
On July 3, 1942, she was married
to Roland H. Erdman who was
killed in action in March 1944.
On October 14, 1945, Aldean was
united in marriage to Wilbur
John Shipman. They moved from
Renwick to the Corwith area,
where she continued to live. She
lived in the Waukee area with
her children the past year. She
was a member of the St. John's
Lutheran Church, ALCW, and a
member and past president of the
American Legion Auxiliary.
Aldean enjoyed
fishing, playing cards, and her
Norwegian heritage. She was well
known for her wit, canning &
cooking, creative poems, and
having a heart of gold.
Throughout her life she worked
with her husband as he farmed in
the Corwith area and operated
Shipman Shelling & Trucking
Service.
She was also
employed at Winnebago and the
Corwith-Wesley Schools.
She is survived
by eight children, Jackie Harle
of Sheffield, Iowa, Trudy (Ron)
Cook of Beloit, Wisconsin,
Ramona Shipman of Perry, Iowa,
Brad (Mary) Shipman of Van

Dean E. McAfee, 1926-2001

Dean E. McAfee, 75, of Garner,
died on Friday, December 28,
2001, at his home.
Memorial services
will be held at 2:00 p.m., on
Saturday, January 5, 2002, at
the Cataldo Funeral Home in
Garner. The Rev. Fr. Michael
Schueller will officiate.
Interment will be
in the St. Boniface Catholic
Cemetery. Military rites will be
conducted by the Garner Veterans
Ceremonial Unit. Visitation will
be held one hour prior to the
services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be
directed to the American Cancer
Society.
Dean Edwin
McAfee, the son of Lawrence and
Wilhelmina (Regennitter) McAfee,
was born on July 28, 1926 at
Lisbon. He attended school in
Geneva and Hampton. He enlisted
in the U.S. Navy in July of
1944, serving in the CBMU #555,
where he spent time in Panama,
Nicaragua and both sides of the
Panama Canal Zone at Balboa and
Coco Solo.
After his
discharge in July of 1946, he
moved to Garner where he worked
for Duesenberg Construction in
the summers and Garner Motor
Sales in the winters for seven
years and from 1952 to 1954 at
the Bancroft Deitering Garage.
On April 30,
1955, Dean McAfee married Carol
A. Neitzel at the St. Michael's
Catholic Church in Whittemore.
The couple lived in Garner where
he was employed at the Garner
Motor Sales for 18 years full
time, Bock Transport from 1966
to 1970 and the Ziesmer Truck
line from 1970 to 1974. He was
self employed as a mechanic from
1974 to 1978, worked at IMT from
1978 to 1995 and Stellar
Industries until 2001. During
his time at IMT he traveled to
China, Mongolia, Sweden, Mali,
Africa and throughout the United
States, which were the
highlights of his work years.
Dean was a life
member of the Edwin Jante VFW
Post #5515 and Gifford Olson
American Legion Post #256.
He is survived by
his wife, Carol of Garner; five
children, Tim McAfee and wife,
Jan of Overland Park, Kansas,
Tom McAfee of Colleyville,
Texas, Terry McAfee and wife,
Stacy of Sacramento, California,
Becky Hejlik and husband, John
of Britt and Brenda Swaim and
husband, Chuck of Ames; nine
grandchildren, Andrea Hejlik,
Allison Hejlik, Amber Hejlik,
Matthew Swaim, Jessica Swaim,
Sean McAfee, Seamus McAfee,

Ruth D. Suntken, 1916-2001

Ruth D. Suntken, 85, died on
Friday, December 28, 2001, at
the Belmond Medical Center.
Funeral services
were held on Monday, December
31, at 10:30 a.m., at the First
Reformed Church in Meservey,
with the Rev. Rodney Meester
officiating.
Ruth Dorenkamp
Suntken, was born on May 25,
1916 near Alexander, Iowa, the
daughter of Jacob and Rosa
(Pals) Dorenkamp. She was
baptized on June 9, 1916, at the
Reformed Church in Meservey. She
attended country schools and
graduated from the Meservey High
School in 1934.
Ruth was united
in marriage with Harm J. Suntken
on December 16, 1937, at the
Parsonage of the Meservey
Reformed Church. They made their
home in Meservey for a short
time then moved to a farm
southeast of town and farmed
there until 1963 when they moved
into town.
Ruth was a life
long member of the First
Reformed Church, Meservey, where
she was a member of the Dorcas
Circle and Ladies Aide. She was
a member of the Kitchen Klatter
Band and the Golden Years Club.
Ruth was known for her Cinnamon
Rolls. She also enjoyed
gardening, playing cards,
bowling and crocheting.
Ruth is survived
by her five children, Fred
(Sandra) Suntken of Meservey,
Lawrence (Janet) Suntken of
Colorado Springs, Colorado,
Bonnie Lou (Don) Brunstein of
Omaha, Nebraska, Lloyd (Pat)
Suntken of Meservey and Rosalie

Eleanor Arleen
Kubly, 88, died on
Friday, December 28, 2001, at
the Algona Manor
Care Center, Algona.
Visitation will be held on
Wednesday, January 2, 2002, from
4:30-8:00 p.m., at the
Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf
Funeral Home in LuVerne, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, January 3, at 10:00
a.m., at the United Methodist
Church in LuVerne.
Eleanor Arleen
Kubly, was born on May 22, 1913
at Stratford, Iowa, to Emil and
Alice Holt Anderson. With the
exception of 10 years living in
Stratford, her entire life was
spent in the LuVerne area.
Eleanor graduated
from the LuVerne High School in
1930 and attended Iowa State
Teacher's College (now the
University of Northern Iowa) in
Cedar Falls, Iowa. She received
a State Rural Diploma and taught
in the rural schools of Kossuth
County.
Eleanor was
married to Elmer Kubly, on
February 23, 1935, at the
Methodist Church in Canton,
South Dakota. The couple farmed
the Kubly home place east of
LuVerne and raised two sons,
Keith and Dale. In 1966, they
had a home built in LuVerne and
retired there. Eleanor and Elmer
enjoyed traveling and spent
numerous winters in Rockport,
Texas. Eleanor became a resident
of the Algona Manor Care Center
on August 29, 2001.
Eleanor was a
member of the United Methodist
Church in LuVerne, and was
active in the Woman's Society,
serving as treasurer and
secretary of various offices.
She was a member of the LuVerne
Library Board for a number of
years and helped to make the new
Library a reality. Eleanor
enjoyed reading and hand work.
Eleanor is
survived by her sons and
daughter-in-laws, Keith and
Alice Kubly of Western Springs,
Illinois and Dale and Donna
Kubly of Chesterfield, Missouri;
three granddaughters, Heidi
Kitterman and husband, David of
Huntersville, North Carolina,
Holli Kubly of St. Louis,
Missouri and Jillian Kubly of
Atlanta, Georgia; and two
grandsons, Greg Kubly of St.
Louis, Missouri and Scott Kubly
of Oakland, California.
Also surviving are one sister,
Mabel Carlson of Gowrie, Iowa;
one brother, Orville Anderson
and wife, Leah of Algona, Iowa;
and many nieces, nephews and
friends.
Eleanor was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, Elmer
on December 3, 1997; her
granddaughter, Amy Kay; and one
sister, Edythe Wolf.

Harold Martin "Hap" Fessler,
1913-2001

Harold Martin "Hap" Fessler, 88,
of Thornton, died on Sunday,
December 30, 2001, at the
Rockwell Nursing Home, Rockwell.
Funeral services were held on
Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at
the United Methodist Church,
Swaledale, with the Rev. Bruce
Wittern officiating.
Burial was in the Clear Lake
Cemetery, Clear Lake.
Harold Martin
"Hap" Fessler, was born on
September 14, 1913 in rural
Swaledale, the son of Peter and
Freda (Schonhorst) Fessler.
He attended and received his
education in the rural country
school near Swaledale.
After completing his schooling,
Harold helped his parent's farm
on the family farm and later
farmed in the Joice and
Swaledale areas before farming
north of Thornton for several
years until his
retirement. Harold also worked
as a carpenter building bridges
throughout north Iowa for the
Combs Construction Company and
also worked for the Crystal
Sugar Company in Mason City for
several years.
He was united in
marriage to Marjorie Carlock on
April 10, 1937 in Clear
Lake. She preceded him in death
on March 6, 1996.
He enjoyed
fishing, traveling to Europe,
wintering in Florida and Texas,
playing 500 cards with the
senior citizens in Swaledale,
was an avid sports enthusiasts,
especially the Iowa Hawkeye's,
loved to tease family members
and friends, had a gift for gab,
loved watching western movies
and had a great sense of humor.
He was a member
of the United Methodist Church
in Swaledale, life long member
of Farm Bureau, Sams Club in
Swaledale and the Swaledale
Senior Citizens.
Left to cherish
his memory are his two
daughters, Betty Lou Fullwood
and her husband, Robert of
Onalaska, Wisconsin and Linda
Fessler of Thornton; two
grandchildren, Tony and Daren
Fullwood both of Onalaska,
Wisconsin; two
great-grandchildren, Christopher
and Samantha Jade Fullwood both
of Onalaska, Wisconsin; two
sisters, Alma (Fritz) Spilman of
Clear lake and Verneice Pedersen
and her husband, John of
Swaledale; as well as other
relatives and many friends.
His parents;
wife, Marjorie; two infant
children, Karen and Gary
Fessler; one brother, Lloyd
Fessler and a sister, Ann
(Wayne) Barlow, preceded him in
death.
