Charles L. "Chuck" Jones

Charles L. "Chuck" Jones, 83, of Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, at 1:00 p.m., at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Inurnment will be in the Hampton Cemetery.

Lee D. Claypool

June 10, 2009

Lee D. Claypool, 82, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Deanne Ione Sinner

June 17, 2009

Deanne Ione Sinner, 69, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held in the Westlawn Cemetery in Gering, Nebraska, on Wednesday, June 24. Service time will be 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Franklin Relay for Life. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Deanne was born on November 23, 1939 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to William C. and Helen M. (Bott) Sinner. Deanne graduated from the Gering High School in Gering, Nebraska. She worked for the United States Postal Service and retired from there in 2002.

Deanne was a member of the AARP. She enjoyed volunteer bingo at the Hampton Health Care Center, bus trips to play her favorite games, shopping and walking her dog, Swany. She loved to cook her homemade green chili and Mexican food. Her favorite place to eat with her Mom was Taco Town in Gering, Nebraska. She especially loved to get hugs and kisses from all her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Deanne is survived by her daughters, Shelly (Brian) Winfrey of Hampton and Lisa (Steve) Sliter of Geneva; son, Corey (Andrea) Greenfield of Thorton, Colorado; grandchildren, Jessica (Tom) Birdsell of Hampton, Jacob Talcott of Hampton, Cyle and Camyrn Greenfield from Thorton, Colorado, Paul Hovenga III of Geneva, Dakota Sliter of Geneva; and great-grandchildren, Tommy and Natalie Birdsell of Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Gary Sinner.

Jerry Gram, 61, of Newton, formerly of Hampton, died on Sunday, June 21, 2009.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 24, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton. Burial will take place at a later date.

Jodien Marie Dannen

July 8, 2009

Jodien Marie Dannen, 7 1/2 month old daughter of Dustin and Arlin Dannen, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City, Montana. She was the granddaughter of Dan Dannen of Chapin.

Visitation is planned for Thursday, July 2, from 5-7:00 p.m., at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City, Montana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, at 1:00 p.m., at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home for a headstone for Jodien.
