David Matthew Vettel, 20, of Hampton, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 5, at the Faith Baptist Church in Hampton, with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Pastor Dave Koenigsberg and Pastor Brian Haynes officiated at the service. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of the arrangements.
