Mary Alice Ayers

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Mary Alice Ayers, age 89, died of heart failure Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Good Shepherd Hospice.

She was born in Mason City on April 26, 1923, and was a bookkeeper for Central Travel. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Winter Haven.
Ms. Ayers is survived by her daughters Karen Somers, Clearwater, Fla., Mary Moklebust, Des Moines; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.

Virginia C. Fanselow

ROWAN - Virginia C. Fanselow, 89, of Rowan, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion.

Funeral services for Virginia C. Fanselow will be held Friday, June 22, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Church of Rowan with Pastor Nancy Hofmeister officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery near Rowan.

Visitation for Virginia C. Fanselow will be held Friday, June 22, from noon until servicetime at the church in Rowan.

Velma Letha Frohling

BELMOND - Velma Letha Frohling, 97, of Belmond, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, at St. John Lutheran Church in Belmond with services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Belmond Cemetery.

Velma was born on April 18, 1915, in Wright County, Iowa, to Stuart L. and Rose (Hilpipre) Smith. She grew up near Belmond and graduated from Belmond High School in 1935. On Aug. 30, 1937, she married Edward Frohling in Des Moines.

The couple resided in Belmond all their married life. She worked at the Belmond Community Hospital for 30-plus years. In her retirement she painted china, including many dolls which she lovingly outfitted. She also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, sewing and tending her flower garden. She was a long-time active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Belmond.

Survivors include her sons: Arlyn (Diane) of Bradenton, Fla., Verlyn (Barb) of Story City and Jerry (Alice) of Stockton, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Sherri Keigan, Jean Kailiawa, Bill Frohling, Ed Frohling, Dave Frohling, Kris Frohling, Letha Simard, Roger Frohling; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Ronald Dean Jones

IOWA FALLS - Ronald Dean Jones, age 69, of Iowa Falls, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake, surrounded by his family. He died from complications of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) after a long battle with this physically debilitating neurological disease.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Catholic Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls with a 4 p.m. Vigil Service.

Ron was born on Jan. 29, 1943, in Iowa Falls, to Marion and Bonnie (Brown) Jones. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School and then Iowa State University. He wrestled for both schools and achieved a great deal of individual and team success.

Ron was united in marriage to Marianne Burton on Aug. 6, 1966, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Iowa Falls. They enjoyed 46 great years together, having many laughs and good times with family and friends.

Ron was a math teacher, guidance counselor and wrestling coach at the Iowa Falls High School. During his time as a teacher and coach, he made a tremendous impact on students and athletes, instilling in them that success can be achieved through hard work and perseverance. Ron's wrestling teams were known not only for their toughness and work ethic but also for competing with class.

In recognition for his achievements as a wrestler and coach, he was inducted into the Iowa High School Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame and National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

He was also a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 1674, St. Knights of Columbus and the Iowa State Letter Winners Club.

Ron is survived by his wife, Marianne of Iowa Falls; his son, Darron (Julie) Jones of Clear Lake, and their children Sam and Gretchen; his daughter, Darci (Tim) Carver of Urbandale, and their children Katie and Gabriel; his twin brother, Don (Dinah) Jones of Iowa Falls and his brother, Jerry (Linda) Jones of Bellevue, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Bonnie Jones.

Memorials may be directed to the Ron Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Green Belt Bank & Trust, 616 Washington Ave., Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. The scholarship will be given annually to an Iowa Falls-Alden High School student.

Dewey E. LeSuer

MASON CITY - Dewey E. LeSuer, 59, of 227 Sixth St. N.W., Mason City, died at his home Monday, June 18, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday June 21, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Daird Korth of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura, officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment with be at the Elmwood Cemetery Columbarium in Mason City.

Dewey Eugene was born on Dec. 26, 1952, in Bemidji, Minn., to Dewey and Luella (Geiser) Wilson. He attended Brainard High School before moving to the Mason City area where he graduated from Mason City High School. He married Velda Waters on June 26, 1976, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City. He worked as a janitor with Easter Super Value, Mason City, for more than nine years before being disabled by his epilepsy in 1991.

Dewey enjoyed reading and was especially adept at playing cards, especially Rook, with family and friends. He also enjoyed listening to music and book tapes. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Dewey is survived by Velda, his wife of 35 years, along with numerous nephews and nieces.

 Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, son Corey in infancy, and sister, Stella Adkins.

CHARLES CITY - Keith Onken Jr., 60, of Charles City, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in his home.

Rev. David Samuelson

FOREST CITY - The Rev. David Samuelson, 84, of Forest City, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

As per his wishes, his body has been cremated and there will be no visitation.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City with Pastor Greg Anderson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

David was born on Oct. 23, 1927, in Minneapolis, Minn. The son of David and Selma Arneson Samuelson, David graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis in 1946. He attended the University of Minnesota for one quarter and then enlisted in the Army. He served in the 245th Army Ground Force band in Rome, Italy. David graduated from the University of Minnesota, and then attended Luther Seminary and was ordained a minister of the Lutheran Church. David served at several churches throughout the Midwest.

David enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, a good visit, a good laugh, thought-provoking books, crossword puzzles, carving wood, being in plays, learning new technology on the computer, fossil hunting, clarinet, and most of all sharing the Good News of Jesus.

David is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn; his children Paul Samuelson, Lincoln, Neb., Karl Samuelson, Minneapolis, Minn., Joel Samuelson, Lincoln, Neb., Gloria Doyle, Waukee, Iowa, Laura (Dewayne) McGohan, Ankeny, Iowa; son-in-law Kurt Miller, St. Louis Park, Minn; seven grandchildren: Nichole (Hunter) Flodman, Matthew (Jenna) Samuelson, Ian Miller, Andrew Samuelson, Ingrid Miller, Erin McGohan and Claire McGohan; and two great-grandchildren: Ethan and Nolan Samuelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Selma Samuelson; daughter Cynthia Miller; granddaughter Hannah Doyle; twin brother Donald Samuelson; sister Shirley Samuelson; and son in-law Brian Doyle.

Richard "Dick" Shave

ST. ANSGAR - Richard "Dick" Shave, 63, of St. Ansgar, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

A celebration of Dick's life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City. Visitation will be held two hours prior.
Richard Lee Shave was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Charles City, the son of Lauren and Pauline (Bartels) Shave. He grew up in various towns throughout North Iowa, and earned his GED. He spent most of his life doing much of the same, moving often and meeting new friends along the way.

He worked various jobs and spent a lot of his life being self-employed. Dick will be remembered as a jack of all trades. He has resided for the past 10 years in St. Ansgar. Dick died doing one of his passions, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was always playing practical jokes and pranking his boys and friends.

He enjoyed collecting antiques, marbles and knifes. Dick was always on the lookout for wild asparagus and could spot it at highway speeds. He also liked to spend time outdoors fishing and taking trips to the casino.

Left to remember Dick are his two sons, Darren Shave of Mason City and Casey Shave of St. Ansgar; his mother, Pauline Shave of Charles City; an aunt, Alice; and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; and one aunt, Evelyn.

Donald L. Kassar

URBANDALE - Donald L. Kassar, 75, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Manor Care Health Services of West Des Moines after a long illness.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Fravel of Manassas, Va., who died on May 14, 2012.

Survivors are his wife of nearly 53 years, Geraldine "Gerry" Kassar; his daughter, Julie (Christopher) Black of Island Lake, Ill.; his son, Brian Kassar of Bozeman, Mont.; his son-in-law, Steven Fravel of Manassas, Va.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tyler) Abbott of Des Moines, Stephanie Fravel of Chicago, Ill., and James and Mikel Black of Island Lake, Ill.; his sister, Sharon (Dennis) Sibert of Urbandale; sister-in-law, Judy (J. Richard) Hervey of Norwalk; brother-in-law, G. Michael (Ronda) Wiltgen of Boise, Idaho; four nieces and seven great nieces and nephews.

In his quiet and laidback manner, Don was always interested and concerned about all family members and proud of their many accomplishments and achievements.

Don pursued a satisfying career with the Iowa Department of Human Services, beginning as a caseworker in Decorah, and advancing throughout the years gaining experience with multiple programs until his retirement from a bureau chief position.

Don was known for his respect for all people and for his sarcastic wit and sense of humor. He was an avid reader and enjoyed music, movies, theater, Hawkeyes, Cubs, dogs and cats and camping and fishing. His life-long passion from the age of eight was hunting, which he enjoyed with family members, his dogs and friends who shared his respect for the sport, guns, wildlife and conservation.

In accordance with Don's wishes, his body has been cremated and no memorial services will be held.

Condolences may be directed to the family. His family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff and physicians from Manor Care, Methodist West Hospital Emergency Department, Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Health Hospice for their caring and compassionate care throughout the years.

CHARLES CITY - Keith Onken, Jr., age 60 of Charles City died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in his home.

Keith Andrew Onken, Jr. was born March 25, 1952, in San Francisco, Calif., the son of Keith and Alberta (Woodworth) Onken, Sr. Keith, Sr. was a career Air Force man, which moved the family quite frequently. The family moved to Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida, and Michigan. During his father's two tours in Vietnam, the family lived in Iowa. After his dad's retirement, the whole family moved to Charles City. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1970, where he was a first team NEIC basketball player during his senior year. He attended NIACC for one year playing on the school's basketball team. He started working at Sara Lee in New Hampton in 1972. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Shultz. To this union, a daughter Julie was born. The couple later divorced.
On July 18, 1975, he enlisted in the Air Force. Keith was honorably discharged in 1979 as a Sergeant. He returned to Sara Lee and worked there until the plant closed in 2000. Keith met Val Crumpton, and the couple wed at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1983. To this union, a daughter Jamie was born.

On May 1st, 2000, he went to work for Fort Dodge Animal Health, which later became Pfizer, until his sickness forced him to leave. Keith enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to the Beatles, golfing, going to Major League Baseball games, and cheering for his Baltimore Orioles. He also looked forward to family reunions, visiting with family, drinking, and shooting the breeze. Keith enjoyed playing fetch with Scooter and having her lay on his lap. He was a very kind and gentle man, who will be missed by all. Keith's words to live by were, "it is what it is."

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Val; two daughters, Jamie Onken of Charles City, Julie (Kelly) Berggren of Williams, Minn.; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hudson, and Ryker Berggren; two uncles, Art Onken of Osage, Jim (Jean) Onken of Orchard; an aunt, Donna Onken of Omaha, Nebr.; a cat, Izzy; and a dog, Braylee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Connie Becker; his mother and fatheune 2r-in-law; and many aunts and uncles.

Ione Evelyn Erickson

HAMPTON - Ione Evelyn Erickson, 98, of Clear Lake, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Center in Forest City.

A private funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton with Pastor Stan Peterson officiating.

Burial took place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Ione Evelyn Erickson was born on November 27, 1913, in Dows, to John C. and Minnie (Holland) Glade. Ione was confirmed at Otis Grove Lutheran Church in Dows and graduated from Dows High School.

She was united in marriage to Lyle W. Erickson on December 8, 1934. Ione and Lyle farmed in Dows, Belmond and Thornton. Together they built a gas station in Hampton, enjoyed traveling and delivering motor homes. Ione and Lyle retired to Clear Lake, in 1970.

Ione is survived by her son Donald Erickson of Forest City; grandchildren Melisa (Chris) Sunde of Omaha, Neb. and Chad (Jenifer) Erickson of Huxley; great-grandchildren Carter Sunde, Blake Sunde, Codey Erickson and Emma Erickson; siblings Wilma Dorr of Ames, Marjorie Stover of Hampton, Willard (Wanda) Glade of Dows, Dorothy Fraser of Clarion and Glennavon Parriott of Popejoy.

 She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle and daughter Patricia.

Fredrick H. Meier

MASON CITY - Fredrick H. Meier, 82, of Wheatland, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, Iowa, with the Rev. Victor Young officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lutheran Cemetery, Lowden.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, at the Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland.

Fredrick Henry Meier was born September 4, 1929, in Lowden, the son of Louis and Mathilda (Ernsting) Meier. He graduated from Lowden High School in 1947. On October 25, 1956, he was united in marriage to Madelyn Greve. To this union, a daughter, Crystal Ann, was born. Fredrick was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Cherishing his memory are wife, Madelyn; daughter, Crystal, Mason City; sister, Betty (Fran) Bush, Pueblo, Colo.; brothers, Donald (Donna) Meier, Lowden and Norman Meier, Naperville, Ill.; and sister-in-law, Kennethea Meier, Clarence. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Meier, and his parents.

Helen was born October 16, 1924, in DeKalb, Ill., the daughter of Aloysious and Julia (Adams) Loecher. She married Everett S. Wagner on November 25, 1942, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. Helen received her GED on May 21, 1982. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Theresa's Circle, and the Third Order Secular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles, running the John Deere combine, praying the rosary and attending Mass. Helen and Everett enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling south for the winter, playing cards and polka dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her son, Irvin (Ida) Wagner of Osage, and children, Scott (Donna) Wagner and their children, Luke and Whitney, Kristy (Brad) Tegtmeyer and their children, Alyssa and Katey, Wendy (David) Brooker and their children, Jesse, Alexa and Jaye; her daughter, Azalea "Lea" (Ron) Norlinger of Mason City, and children, David Blanshan and his daughter, Rachel Gebert, Daniel Norlinger and his son, Samuel Norlinger; her son, Galen (Connie) Wagner of Osage, and children, Gabriella (Steve) Frost and their children, Samantha, Amanda, Wayne and Levi, Peter (Wendy) Wagner and their children, Lia, Michael and Natalie, Melinda (Andrew) Beland and their children, Porter, Koda and Caden, Tasha Wagner; her daughter, Lucinda "Cindy" Hutter and special friend, Sharon A. Hillstrom of Waterloo, and children, Nathan Hutter and his daughter, Novalee, Rachel Hutter and her son, Benjamin Reyes; her daughter, Virginia "Gin" (Randy) Groff of Osage, and children, Jordon Groff and Ashley Groff; two sisters, Margaret Mueller of Mesa, Ariz., and Joan (Jerome) Heimer of Garner; and one brother, Alfred (Dorothy) Loecher of West Bend, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett in 2004; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Tegtmeyer.

Lola L. Eisenman

BRITT - Lola L. Eisenman, 85, of Britt, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, at the United Methodist Church in Britt with the Rev. Robert Dodge officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday (today) at the Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Lola LaVonne Eisenman, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Anderson) Lee, was born July 10, 1926, in Britt. She attended Britt Community Schools and graduated from Britt High School in 1944. She continued her education at Hamilton Business College in Mason City and was employed at an attorney's office in Mason City and at Mullin's Seed Company as a bookkeeper.

On April 30, 1949, she was married to Donald Eisenman at the Britt United Methodist Church by the Rev. F.F. Robinson. They farmed northeast of Britt until 1992, when they retired and moved to town.

One of Lola's greatest joys was her children and, especially, her grandchildren. She loved her family and always looked forward to hosting family get-togethers and holidays.

Lola was a long-time member of the Britt United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and served on many church committees. She was actively involved in Rebekah's and served as secretary for many years. Lola was also a member of Women's Club and enjoyed being with the ladies at church making quilts.

Lola is survived by her four sons, Ronald (Peggy) Eisenman of Britt, Mark (Darcy) Eisenman of Britt, Robert (Kathy) Eisenman of Grundy Center and Craig (Deanne) Eisenman of Osage; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two brothers-in-law, Chester, Jr. (Sandra) Eisenman of Britt and Duane Michelson of Independence; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Donald; her sister, Wilda (Fred) Hite; a brother, William Lee; a sister-in-law, Blanche Michelson; two brothers-in-law, Cyrus and Daryl Eisenman; and a nephew, Randall Hite.

Joleen Rae Lindhorst

MASON CITY - Joleen Rae Lindhorst, 57, of Mason City, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Joleen was born Aug. 4, 1954, in New Hampton, the daughter of Kenneth and Betty (Wildin) Lindhorst.

Joleen attended the New Hampton Community School.

She is survived by a sister, Sherry and Leon Wait of Nashua; two nieces, LeAnne Wait of Waverly and Valerie and Greg Hennings of Waverly; and two great-nieces Madelyn and Kayla Hennings of Waverly.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Lindhorst; and an infant brother Garry Lindhorst.

Ralph W. Lockwood

Mason City - Ralph W. Lockwood, 83, Mason City, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City.
 
A memorial service for Ralph will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapels, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Kenneth B. Gehling presiding.

Inurnment will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City where full military funeral honors will be conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Sunday, June 24, at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be designated to the Ralph Lockwood Memorial Fund in care of his family.

Ralph Wesley Lockwood, son of Willard and Ruth (Hansen) Lockwood was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Mason City. Ralph attended Mason City schools before enlisting in the Army. Ralph served active duty in the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged shortly after. He then enlisted in the Army Reserves until July of 1951, when he began working at the Northwestern Portland Cement Company in Mason City for 13 years.

During this time, Ralph was united in marriage to Kathleen Currier at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City on April 16, 1955.
 
To this union, six children were born: Robert, Linda, Stephen, Vince, James, and Lisa.

Ralph continued his working career at Decker and Sons Meat Packing Plant for seven and-a-half years before working for Winnebago Industries for another four and-a-half years. Ralph then worked at the Mason City Post Office for 12 years before retiring.

Ralph was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, enjoying spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing billiards and golf along with being an avid Frank Sinatra fan.

Ralph was a parishioner of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City.

Those left to cherish Ralph's memory include his children, Robert (Leann) Lockwood, Mason City, Linda O' Connor, Maple Grove, Minn., Stephen (Sue) Lockwood, Woodruff, S.C., Vince Lockwood, Mason City, James Lockwood, Mason City and Lisa (Ron) VandeWeerd, Mason City; grandchildren, Chris Lockwood, Ben (Jenn) Lockwood, Tony Lockwood, Chad Lockwood, Kari O' Connor, Erin Lockwood, Brittany Lockwood, Tré Lockwood, and Noah VandeWeerd; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Lockwood along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen in 2010; brothers, Willard Jr. and Ronald Lockwood and his sister, Beverly Brekken.

Frances Mae Meyer

Ventura - Frances Mae Meyer, 81, formerly of Ventura, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Hampton Rehabilitation Center, Hampton.

A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Daird Korth officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 122 W., Mason City.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Sunday, June 24, at Ward-Van Slyke.

Memorials may be given to the Frances Meyer Memorial Fund.

Frances was born May 4, 1931, in Latimer, the daughter of George and Alvina (Pralle) Muhlenbruch. She attended St. Paul's Parochial School in Latimer. Following school, she worked summers in Clear Lake, at Witke's Restaurant and various places.

Frances met Alvin Meyer Jr. at the Surf Ballroom and they were united in marriage on June 12, 1960. To this union three children were born: Cindy, Jeff, and Rick.

Frances and Alvin lived on their farm most of their life, retiring to Ventura.

Frances was the perfect farm wife, working with the turkeys, hogs and livestock, along with making sure all the workers were well fed. She loved being a full-time mother, gardening and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to their activities and sharing in their lives. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Frances is survived by her children, Jeff Meyer, Garner, Cindy Dvorak, Ventura, and Rick Meyer and his wife Michelle, Iowa Falls; five grandchildren, Laura Huling and her husband Tyson, Davenport, Jenny Dvorak, Waterloo, Josh Meyer, Ames, and Ben and Kayla Meyer, Iowa Falls; twin brother, Fred Muhlenbruch, Latimer; and sister, JoAnne Mills, Waukee; sister-in-law, Melba Muhlenbruch and several nieces and nephews along with many relatives and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin (Nov. 20, 2008); son-in-law, Phil Dvorak (2004); parents; sister, Alice Stock; brother, Howard Muhlenbruch and.
