Kan., died on April 23, 2012, at his
home in Emporia, Kan.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30
a.m. on Saturday, June 2, at St. Peter
Catholic Church, New Haven, with the
Rev. Ray E. Atwood at Celebrant.
Inurnment will follow in the St. Peter
Catholic Cemetery, New Haven.
Gene was born on March 30, 1960, in
Osage, the son of Leo and Mary Jane
Thome Foxen. He married Shannon D. Dycus
on Aug. 4, 2005, in Big Springs, Kan.
She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include: mother, Mary
Jane Foxen of Osage; sons, Cody Allen
Foxen of Emporia, Kan. and William
Vincent Johnson of Fairview, Okla.;
sisters, Ann Maas of Kasson, Minn., Jane
Foxen of Des Moines, Joan Butterfield of
Charles City, and Lisa Foxen of
Mantorville, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Leo Foxen.
Gene was a machinist at Vektek in
Emporia for over twenty years.

- Lt. Col Virgil I. Lunning (USAF, ret)
of Hampton, born Jan. 14, 1921, in
Brycelyn, Minn., died Memorial Day, May
28, 2012, at the age of 91, at the
Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in
Hampton. He was the son of Harry E. and
Lyda, nee Vekre, Lunning.
In his early life, he was raised on a
farm and spoke Norwegian until he began
attending public school. He was very
proud of his Norwegian heritage. He
graduated from Mason City High School
and worked for the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad until he entered the military
service.
Colonel Lunning was a Command Pilot and
veteran of three wars. He was a combat
pilot in World War II and the Korean
Conflict, flying the C-47 Skytrain and
the C-119 Boxcar, respectfully. He was
in the first class that checked out in
the C-130 Hercules and developed and
implemented the C-130 flight training
program for the Air Force. He also
developed and authored the worldwide
command and control system used by the
Air Force for over 50 years. He served
with distinction during the Viet Nam War
as an Air Force officer assigned as an
operative with the Central Intelligence
Agency. In this capacity, he set up and
operated a clandestine airline
transportation system that supported
covert activities of the CIA. Colonel
Lunning retired from the United States
Air Force after 22 years service.
After retiring from the Air Force,
Colonel Lunning maintained his interest
in aviation. In 1966, he purchased his
own Cessna 182 Skylane and for the next
30 years he and his wife traversed the
United States from coast to coast. He
was also an avid recreational vehicle
owner who traveled all of the
continental 48 states and Canada. One of
his favorite pastimes was fishing for
walleye and Northern Pike in Minnesota
and Canada. He always said, "The only
thing better than catching fish was
eating them."
Colonel Lunning was an expert wood
refinisher and there are many residents
of Iowa who still marvel at his
restoration of their treasured antiques.
He served as mayor of the City of
Hampton in the late 60s. His significant
accomplishments as mayor included the
acquisition of the property for the
Hampton Industrial Park, brought seven
new businesses to Hampton creating jobs
and opportunity, and worked with the
federal and state governments to begin
construction of the Hampton Municipal
Airport. He was also instrumental in
bringing the Franklin General Hospital
to Hampton.
Colonel Lunning was a life member of the
Air Force Association, Military Officers
Association of America, a member of the
American Legion Post 183 of Hampton, and
a past member of the Sons of Norway.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and a brother Elwin I. (Al) Lunning.
Surviving are his wife of 71 years,
Virginia M., nee Foughty, Lunning, whom
he married June 13, 1941, at the
Congregational Church Parsonage,
Hampton; two sons, Lt. Col (USAF, ret)
David C. (Carol) Lunning, O'Fallon,
Ill.; Robert B. (Nancy) Lunning, St.
Paul, Minn.; grandchildren, David
C.(Angi) Lunning, Jr., Deborah S.(David)
English, Chance P. Lunning; great
grandchildren, Tyler and Connor Lunning,
Taylor and Brenna English; sisters
LaVonne Baker and Ruthyvonne Peck, Mason
City, and Harriette Casey, Broken Arrow,
Okla., and brother Richard G. (Dick)
(Sharon) Lunning, Swaledale; and many
nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of
the donor's choice.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Jun. 4,
at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in
Hampton.
A memorial service will be conducted on
Jun. 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral
home funeral home with Rev. Art Zewart
officiating.
Interment with full military honors
provided by Offutt Air Force Base will
be held at 2 p.m., Jun. 4, 2012 at the
Iowa Veterans Cemetery at Van Meter,
west of Des Moines.

died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the
Hancock County Memorial Hospital in
Britt.
Funeral services will be held 10:30
a.m., Saturday, June 2, at St. Boniface
Catholic Church in Garner with Fr.
Dennis Miller officiating. Burial will
be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m.,
Friday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel,
160 E. Fourth St., in Garner with a
Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 p.m.
followed by a Scriptural wake service.
Visitation will continue one hour prior

Dr. Raymond "Doc" Ryan, the son of John
and Clara (Harlan) Ryan, was born Oct.
16, 1914, in Wabasha County near
Plainview, Minn. He attended country
schools for the primary years and then
stayed with relatives who lived closer
to town for his high school years.
Following his graduation from Plainview
High School in 1932, Doc went to work
for Carl McNallan, an area dairy farmer,
for three years. In 1935, after saving
his earnings for tuition, he enrolled at
the University of Minnesota in
Minneapolis in Agricultural Education.
In 1938, he was accepted into the
College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa
State University, graduating in 1942. He
started his practice of veterinary
medicine in Lake Mills when he replaced
a vet who had been drafted. The Lake
Mills vet returned from the war in
November of 1945, prompting him to
relocate his practice. Shortly after, he
located in Garner replacing the late Dr.
Samuel Wesson. In addition to this
practice, Doc became an inspector at the
Garner Sales Barn. On Feb. 7, 1948,
Raymond was united in marriage to Regina
(Jean) Henry at St. Michael Catholic
Church in Whittemore. To this union two
daughters were born. Doc retired from
his practice In 1979. He never forgot
the good clients whom he claimed were
the reason for his successful business.
His favorite pastimes were listening and
dancing to Big Band music, traveling
with his wife, Jean, and helping out
when an extra hand was needed on their
farm near Woden. His great joy in life
was following and being part of the life
events of his family.
He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic
Church, a life member of Knights of
Columbus and a past member of the Garner
Lions Club. Doc was a life member of the
Iowa Veterinarian Medical Association, a
member of the National Veterinarian
Medical Association and a past president
of the Upper Iowa Veterinarian Medical
Association.
Those left to cherish his memory are his
daughters, Mary (Roger) Kopacek of Britt
and Kathleen (Patrick) McCabe of
Mankato, Minn.; grandchildren, Kara
Steffensmeier, Andrew Kopacek, Ryan
McCabe, Joseph (Virginia) McCabe and Dr.
Jonathan McCabe; four
great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew
and Aidan Steffensmeier and Gisele
McCabe; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
wife, Jean, March 9, 2012; five sisters;
and two brothers.

MASON
CITY - Robert L. "Bob" Scalise, 79, of
Mason City died Wednesday, May 30, 2012,
at the Good Shepherd Health Center in
Mason City.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30
a.m., Friday, June 1, at Holy Family
Catholic Church, 714 N. Adams Ave., with
the Reverend Michael Schueller as
Celebrant. Interment will be held in the
Hampton Cemetery, Hampton.
Visitation will be held one hour prior
to the funeral Mass at the church.
Robert Scalise, son of A. J. (Tony) and
Esther (Comer) Scalise was born Dec. 10,
1932, in Des Moines. Robert graduated
from Hampton High School and attended
Loras College and Drake University,
Iowa. He served in the Army during the
Korean Conflict and was honorable
discharged. On June 9, 1956, he was
united in marriage to Ardella Johanns at
the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason
City and to this union, they were
blessed with two sons, Steven, Columbus,
Ohio and Charles, Tyler, Texas. Robert
began to work as a salesman for
Darrel-Dillon Foods. Following its
closing, he operated several businesses
in Kirksville, Mo. He worked for the
State of Iowa until his retirement in
1994.
Robert's grandchildren gave him great
joy. He especially liked cards of all
kind and was a faithful fan of the Cubs.
Robert is mourned by his wife, sons,
grandson, Michael and granddaughter,
Amanda.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and brothers, Frank, Roger, and Joe.
A special thanks to the people of the
Good Shepherd Health Center for their
exceptionally good care. God bless us

City - Eva Marie Danner, 85, of Mason
City, died Friday June 1, 2012, at the
Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit,
Mason City.
Due to her wishes, she will be cremated
and a private memorial service will be
held at a later time. Inurnment will be
in the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.
Family suggests memorials to Hospice of
North Iowa.
Eva was born in Northwood, the daughter
of Oswald and Blanche (Westcott) Evenson.
She attended school in Klemme, and
graduated from Goodell High School,
Goodell. She then attended York College,
York, Neb., where she met her future
husband.
Eva married Harley Danner on July 14,
1945, in Des Moines. They lived on the
family farm rural Northwood, until
moving to Nashua. After her husband's
death in 1985, she moved to Mason City.
Eva was a licensed pilot, activity
director, a decorator and enjoyed
decorating her home, a collector;
seamstress, gardener, great cook, care
giver, music teacher and most of all
enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a member of Wesley United
Methodist Church, Mason City.
She is survived by her four daughters
Vicki (Dave) McLaughlin, Stacy, Minn.,
Bobbe (Gene) Madson, Clear Lake, Penni
(Jay) Kadel, Soda Springs, Idaho and
Christi (Scott) Gaubatz, Rockwell; eight
grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; two brothers Ed and Bobby
Evenson and her husband Harley.

Edmund, the son of Ernest and Thelma
(Benson) Davis, was born March 24, 1945,
in Forest City. He graduated from Forest
City High School in 1963 and Waldorf
College in 1965. Ed continued his
education at Iowa State University in ag
studies while farming east of Forest
City on the family farm.
On June 20, 1971, he married Kathryn
Boyum in Greenbush, Minn. The couple
made their home on the family farm where
they raised their four children. After
farming, Ed continued operating his own
grain business and later worked for a
John Deere implement dealer and
Winnebago Industries.
He was an active member of Pilot Knob
Lutheran Church and, in the 1970s and
'80s, continued his father's seat on the
Winnebago County Fair Board. Ed will be
remembered by family and friends for
working with his hands as he served the
needs of others.
Ed is survived by his wife, Kathryn;
four children: Karolyn (Steve) Olson,
Kent (Amy) Davis, Jason (Carrie Doyle)
Davis and Janelle Davis; six
grandchildren; a brother, Douglas
(Noreen) Davis; and an aunt, Frances
Benson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Janelle C. Harrington, daughter of
Julius and Guida (Underkofler) Gradisher
was born January 15, 1945, in Cleveland,
Ohio. She attended and graduated from
Parma High School in Ohio and graduated
from Ohio State University with a
teaching degree.
Janelle was united in marriage to David
Harrington on June 10, 1989, at the
Little Brown Church of Nashua.
Janelle was a third grade teacher for
over thirteen years and worked for
Amicare for five years taking care of
the elderly.
She was a wonderful woman and the
world's best mother. She loved arts,
crafts, tending to her garden, music,
and playing the piano.
She was a member of St. Patrick's
Catholic Church and enjoyed serving the
children snacks at Religious Ed. She was
active in her neighborhood Bible study
group and enjoyed attending Christian
Women's Connection.
She leaves behind one son, a
daughter-in-law, two loving grandsons,
her mother and a brother, along with her
neighborhood family to cherish her
memory and carry on her legacy. She was
loved greatly, and will be sadly missed.

- Andrew James Mennenga, 22, died May
28, 2012, due to a traffic accident.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday, June 5, at the Immanuel United
Church of Christ in Latimer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
Monday at the church. The Mason-Lindhart
Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge of
arrangements.
Andrew was born Nov. 9, 1989, in Mason
City. The family lived in the Latimer
area where Andrew attended the CAL/Dows
School through the eighth grade. The
family then moved to Humboldt where
Andrew went to school and graduated from
High School from the Humboldt Community
School. After graduation he attended
Iowa Central Community College majoring
in Diesel mechanics. During high school
he was active in FFA earning the Star
Chapter Award and he enjoyed helping
build a home through the building trades
course in high school. Andrew started
working at Red Power during his
sophomore year of high school and
continued to work there until his death.
His first love was farming and this was
his first year of renting some land on
his own plus helping his grandfather
farm his land. Andrew was seen wearing
his red Case IH clothing most of the
time so if you have any Case IH clothing
you are encourage to wear it to the
funeral.
Andrew is survived by his father,
Michael (Ronda) Mennenga of Klemme; his
mother, Tamara (boyfriend Doug
Jorgensen) Mennenga of Thornton;
brothers Ray (Shannon) Mennenga of Mason
City and Cole Mennenga of Thornton;
grandparents Art and Sally Mennenga and
Lawerence and Janet Meyer; and special
extended family Lisa, Anne, Alan and
Paula Jorgensen, Aunts and Uncles; Kay

Mullenbach, was born December 26, 1926,
in Johnsburg, Minn. She graduated from
Adams High School, and worked as an
office manager for JCPenney.
Bernice was united in marriage to Melvin
Reding on November 23, 1950. They
operated a store in Watkins, Iowa, until
1954. They then farmed near Stacyville
until 1980. She enjoyed the company of
and visiting with family and friends as
well as playing cards, gardening,
fishing, and quilting. She was an active
member of the Visitation Christian
Mothers, Lady Foresters and Catholic Aid
Society.
Bernice is survived by her husband
Melvin Reding of Stacyville; five
children JoAnn (Albert) Farnham Jr. of
Rochester, Minn., Douglas (Janet
Crossley) Reding of Marshfield, Wis.,

Ben Silverstein was born in Navasota,
Texas, on Sept. 10, 1940, the son of
Myer and Rose Silverstein and grew up in
Webster City, Iowa. He attended the
University of Iowa and in 1960 returned
to Webster City to join the family
business. In 1982, Ben became CEO of
Scrap Processors, Inc., where he worked
until his retirement in 2009. Besides
spending time with family and friends,
Ben's greatest joy was his time as an
owner of the Iowa Barnstormers. Ben will
always be remembered for his love of
dogs.
Ben is survived by his wife, Deborah;
three children, Jamie (Brian) Thomas,
Jody (Jimmy) Robbins and David (Andrea)
Silverstein; two stepchildren, Stacy
Acheson and Amy (Mike) Pardubsky; nine
grandchildren, Bryan Jr. and Cameron

She married Eugene Allen Bartz on March

and Mark Allen. She was blessed with six
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Through the years, she enjoyed spending
time with her family and friends,
working and later co-owning a small
grocery store in Grafton, serving on
election boards, decorating cakes for
family and friends, bowling, cutting
meat for a restaurant in St. Ansgar,
rocking babies at a day care in Mason
City, occasionally trying her luck at
casinos, "master card player" with her
friends and family, and attending
country music concerts.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Bonnie and Dean Crosier of
Bloomington, Ill., daughter and
son-in-law, Brenda and Greg Evenson of
Boone, Iowa, son and daughter-in-law
Mark and Becky Bartz of Mason City;
granddaughter and husband (from her
daughter Bonnie) Kathryn and Matt Lollar,
great-grandchildren Bridget and Graham
Lollar, grandsons (from her late son,
Michael) Adam Bartz and Trevor Bartz,
and grandsons (from her daughter Brenda)
Ryan and Karl Billings.
She was preceded in death by her son,
Michael Eugene Bartz; her husband of 35
years, Eugene Allen Bartz; her brothers,
Edward Heizelman Jr. and Donald
Heizelman; and her mother and father,
Hanna (Beisel) and Edward Heizelman Sr.
She was set free on June 1, 2012, to be
with all those she loved that had passed
before her in her Father's House.
She was a loving, caring and giving
woman who will be missed by all, but not
forgotten.

CITY - Robert M. O'Dell, 57, of Forest
City, died peacefully on Thursday, May
31, 2012, at home with his family by his
side after a valiant battle with Lou
Gehrig's disease.

at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 5.

Robert M. O'Dell was born Aug. 5, 1954,
in Mason City, Iowa, the son of William
and Donna (Hall) O'Dell. He graduated
from Mason City High School. He enlisted
in the United States Marine Corps in
1972, serving in Vietnam, and was
honorably discharged in 1978.
He was married to Linda Lance on June
12, 1971, in Bethany, Mo.
Robert enjoyed the time he spent with
his family, especially his
grandchildren. He also loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of
Forest City; daughter, Valerie O'Dell (Brooklynn,
Audrey and Jakob) of Forest City; sons,
Robert O'Dell and wife Christine (Colby
and Sidney) of Cedar Rapids, and Patrick
O'Dell and wife Jill (Jennifer); mother,
Donna O'Dell of Mason City; brother,
William O'Dell and wife Kathy of Alaska;
mother and father in-law, DeLoss and
Marie Lance.
Robert was preceded in death by his
father, William O'Dell, in 2008, and

- Nona A. VanDusseldorp, 92, of Britt,
died Thursday (May 31, 2012) at the Muse
Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason
City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30
a.m., Tuesday, June 5, at the Cataldo
Funeral Home in Britt with the Rev.
Steve Hall officiating. Burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
Monday at the Cataldo Funeral Home in
Britt and will continue one hour prior
to services at the church.
Nona Alberta VanDusseldorp, the daughter
of John and Amizon (Dunfee) Earles, was
born Sept. 12, 1919, on a farm near
Corwith. Most of her childhood was spent
on farms southwest of Britt. In March of
1937 she moved with her family to
Hutchins where she worked at Dew Drop
Inn. Nona attended rural school at Erin
No. 9 and graduated from Britt High
School in 1938.
On Dec. 10, 1941, she was married to
Melvin VanDusseldorp at Fort Dodge. They
made their home in Fort Dodge until
Melvin entered the military during World
War II. They lived at Lawton, Okla.,
where she worked at a cafe and then
moved to Byoch, N.Y., where she was
employed at a sewing factory making gun
parts. They later moved to Tacoma,
Wash., where Nona worked at a furniture
factory.
In 1946, they returned to Iowa and in
1947 moved to a farm northwest of Britt.
Melvin passed away in 1975, and in 1977
Nona moved in to Britt where she worked
at Britt Tech until retiring in 1982.
She was a member of the Britt American
Legion Auxiliary.
Nona is survived by her children, Gloria
(Walbert, Jr.) Mayland of Britt and
Larry VanDusseldorp of Britt and his
special friend, Irene Phillips; four
grandchildren: Tammy (Alan) Abbas, Misty
(Doug) Abbas, Becky (Charles) Fitz and
Scott (Angie) VanDusseldorp; 11
great-grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; and many
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Melvin, Oct. 22, 1975;
a daughter-in-law, Cindy (Meyer)
VanDusseldorp; a grandson, Michael
Mayland; three sisters, Sylvia Kearney,
Murrie Fillenworth and Estle Earles; and
six brothers, James in infancy, Willie,
Harlow, Burkley, Hurshel and John Jr.

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Mrs.
Emmajean Arlice (Paulson) Zeising, 78,
passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, in
Phoenix, Ariz.
Emmajean Arlice (Paulson) Zeising was
born July 6, 1933, the only child of
Mildred (Hein) and Lyiel Paulson of
Garner.
On March 20, 1955, she was united in
marriage to Paul Kenneth Zeising in
Garner. She lived in Sioux City, prior
to moving to Arizona to be near her
children.
Emmajean attended Morningside College in
Sioux City, where she majored in music.
As a pianist and organist she often
played the organ and piano at the
Unitarian Church in Sioux City and also
for many family holidays.
She is survived by her two children,
daughter, Renee Ann of Young, Ariz., and
son Paul Kevin and his wife, Thu M, of
Phoenix, Ariz., three grandchildren:
Jeremy, Melinda and Taz, all living in
Arizona; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband
and one granddaughter, Chenille.
A private family remembrance was held on
Saturday, June 2.
Interment of her cremains will be in the
Concord Cemetery in Garner on Tuesday,
June 5, at 1 p.m.

Jerald Jerome Montag was born on Aug.
25, 1925, in West Bend to parents Joseph
and Frances (Forgarty) Montag. He
graduated from West Bend High School.
After high school, he worked at Montag
Brothers Garage in West Bend, and then
worked at Montag Electric. He was
drafted into service and joined the
Marines in 1952 and was honorably
discharged in 1954. Jerry went into
farming in the Nora Springs area. He
also substituted as a rural mail carrier
in Osage. He served on the Nora Springs
Elevator Board.
On Aug. 5, 1958, Jerry married Alberta
Paulus at Holy Name Catholic Church in
Rockford. To this union three children
were born: Ann, Jay, and David.
Jerry was a member of Holy Name Church
and served as a trustee and then on the
Parish Council. He served various
positions; as Lector, Usher, and
Eucharisitic Minister.
Jerry enjoyed playing cards, drinking
coffee with the men at the station,
delivering mail, and visiting with
everybody. He was definitely a talker.
He also enjoyed reading, especially
westerns. Jerry will be very missed by
his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife of over 50
years, Alberta, of Rockford; his
daughter, Ann (John) Shurtz, of Mason
City and son, Jerald (Myrna) Montag of
Albert Lea; daughter-in-law, Julie
Montag of Nora Springs; brother, Richard
(Patty) Montag of Colo, Iowa, and
sister, Anna Zita (Rex) Brown of West
Bend; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Montag of
Nora Springs and Mary Montag of West
Bend; grandchildren, Clayton, Gregory,
Ana and Jeffrey Shurtz, Jacqueline
(Alan) Attig and Jonathon Montag;
step-grandchild, Callie (Dana) Hillman;
great-granddaughter, Alana Attig; and
step-great-granddaughters, Hannah and
Harper Hillman.
He was preceded in death by his son,
David Montag; his parents; brothers,
James, Thomas, Maurice, Vincent, and

Katherine Louisa "Lou" Pohle was born
March 4, 1921, in Larned, Kan., the
daughter of Mickel and Hannah (Fowler)
Tennes. She graduated from Augusta
Tilghman High School in Paducah, Ky., in
1940. On April 15, 1942, Lou was united
in marriage to Harold Henry Pohle in
Norfolk, Virginia while he was in the
Navy.
In 1945, Lou, Harold and their son,
James, moved to Osage. In 1946, a second
son, John, was born. She worked for
Anthony's Department Store. When the
store closed in 1976, she went to work
for Coast to Coast and retired in May of
1983.
Lou joined the First United Methodist
Church in January of 1946. She was an
active member in the UMW on the local
and district level. She was very
involved with her church circle, helped
with Bible School for many years and
studied and became a certified lay
speaker. Lou was a 50-year member of the
Eastern Star. She was the Worthy Matron
in 1957 and held the secretary position
for several years. Lou enjoyed bridge,
knitting and reading but mostly spending
time the last four years with her
great-grandchild and family.
Survivors include two sons, James
(Jeannie) Pohle of Jensen Beach, Fla.,
John Pohle of Forest Hills, N.Y.;
granddaughter, Amy (Jeff) Mitchell of
Osage; great-grandson, Logan Mitchell of
Osage; sister, Mary Shibley of East
Syracuse, N.Y.; brother: Paul (Esther)
Tennes of Goose Creek, S.C.; her
neighbors, whom she referred to as her
"Osage" family, Ed and Judy Kramme of
Osage, and their children, Robin
Kettwick of Buffalo Center, Marci (Mike)
DeMaris of Mason City, Todd (Cheryl)
Kramme of Decorah, and their families;
and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents;
her husband, Harold in 1974; a grandson,
James Pohle in 2011; an infant sister,
Edna May Tennes; brothers, Raymond and

Shibley; and sister-in-law, Lucille
Tennes.
