Jean was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Mason City, the daughter of Oliver and

collection from old to new from around the world. Most were given to her
by special people in her life, and almost all of them had a story to go
with them.
In her spare time, when she wasn't doing something for her long time job
at Rodger's Uniform Shop, you could find her playing WOW and other
computer games, visiting her friends and family online, reading, baking
cookies, listening to the Statler Brothers, drinking Pepsi and eating
candy.

Lowell Wayne Foell was born on Aug. 31, 1931, in Sycamore, Ill., the son
of Perry and Katheryn (Walker) Foell. After graduating from the Nora
Springs School, he worked for two years with the FBI in Washington, D.C.
He was then drafted into the Army and spent two years at Fort Hood in
Texas.
On Dec. 28, 1952, he was united in marriage to Irma L. Carle at Wesley
United Methodist Church in Mason City. In December they would have had
their 58th wedding anniversary.
After his time in the service, Wayne attended Barber School in Des
Moines and was a barber in Mason City at various shops for more than 50
years. Wayne loved to cook and he served lots of good meals - even in
the last few weeks. We have many cookbooks in which he enjoyed reading
and he was always ready for a new one.
Besides cooking, he loved flowers, gardening, and feeding the birds. He
was always ready to plant a new tree. He loved to have friends in and
was always finding some trivia to share. Wayne also loved music. One of
the most special days of the year for Wayne was going to the Floyd
Gospel Sing.
Wayne had many health problems over the past several years, he went
through them all without complaining. Thank the Lord, there will be no
more pain, IV's, pick lines, pills, canes, walkers and so many doctor
visits.
Wayne was a member of Hanford Community Church where he served on
various church boards and was a Sunday school teacher. In 1971, Wayne
was a part of a group that went to Bogotá, Columbia, to work on the
building of a church. This was through the Oriental Missionary Society.
Wayne's most special times were spending time with his family and
friends. Just three weeks ago, Irma, Wayne, and his mom had a wonderful
trip to Kansas and Missouri.
Living family members include his wife, Irma; his mother, Katheryn; his
five children: Lori Kray (Dennis) of Berlin, Wis., LaNae Wales (Craig)

great-grandchildren: Kiaya, Ariana, Talan, Tre and Amari; three special

class. He had already decided he wanted to be in the construction
business and wanted to take courses that would be of help in his chosen
career.
Following high school, he enlisted in the Air Force where he was a crew
chief/mechanic and was required to fly with the planes to keep them in
working order. He had many interesting stories to tell and fond memories

many lifetime friends.
George was a very accomplished businessman and excelled in the

then moved to California forming his own company and building tract
homes. He later branched out and began building commercial property and
investing in real estate. He loved to fly his airplane for both business
and pleasure. He was capable of mastering any project he chose to do.
After retiring, he enjoyed creating beautiful woodworking and stained
glass projects, gardening, traveling and patiently passing on his
knowledge by instructing and helping others with home improvements as
well as other projects. In addition to his home in California, which he
and his wife designed and built, he owned a home in Frisco, Colo. He was
a black diamond skier and excellent ice skater.
George was a very loving, caring, passionate and social person. He loved
to visit with people and to know him was to love him. He will be missed

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Zion
Lutheran Church, 805 E. Main, Rockford.
Officiating will be the Rev. Patricia Shaw.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday with a military service at
7:30 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, with military rites
and flag folding by the Walker-Graper American Legion Post No. 338.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials

the family at
www.Fullertonfh.com.
Paul was born May 7, 1934, in Marble Rock to George and Emma (Hesse)
Tegtmeier. He graduated from Marble Rock High School in 1952.
On Oct. 27, 1957, Paul married Maxine Mae Trettin at Rock Creek Lutheran
Church, west of Osage. To this union were born three sons, Daniel, Rick
and Bill. Paul and Maxine started their lives in the Burchinal area and
then moved to Rudd. They later moved to a farm south of Rudd, then to
several homes in Rockford, before moving for the last time in 1964 to
their current home.
Paul served his country in the Marine Corps from June 1954 until his
honorable discharge in June 1956. He served in Korea and for a short
time in Japan. His work life led him from 12 years at the Oliver plant
in Charles City to working at Decker Meat Packing Plant in Mason City,
then becoming a millwright and concrete finisher on Interstate 35. His
final work was at Con Agra in the sliced bacon department. After work
and weekends he worked with his sons and brothers dismantling barns and
using the lumber for other projects, painting houses and farm buildings.
Most nights during the week he would return home to take Maxine and the
boys fishing at Rock Creek. Often, after the boys went to bed they could
hear the clink and ring of Paul playing horseshoes with friends. One of
his most favorite pastimes was playing cribbage and 500 with his family
and friends.
During a time while laid off from work, he and Jerry Boehmer played
cribbage until the first one won 1,000 games. It took "all winter." His
personalized license plate "Ole Grump" belied his true soft side. He
served on the Rockford Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years and the
Rockford Cemetery Board.
Over the years Paul enjoyed fishing, wood working, collecting die-cast
tractors, watching the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings and his coffee
time with his Rockford "buddies."
Those mourning his death are his wife of 52 years, Maxine; and sons,
Daniel and wife, Tori, of Marion, Rick and wife, Sherry, of Urbandale,
and Bill of Polk City; grandchildren, Lynette Tegtmeier and fiancé, Ryan
Bailey, of Marion, Nate and Eric of Urbandale, Sarah and Seth of Marion,

Marla Tegtmeier, of Marble Rock; brothers-in-law, Jim and wife, Erika
Trettin, of Mentor, Ohio, and Steve and wife, Alice Trettin, of Mason
City; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
His parents; and brothers, George (Roy) and Allen (Hoppy), and
brothers-in-law, Gerald McNamara, Robert Nordman and Bill Shafer precede
Paul in death.
