ELAINE L. DRABEK

BRITT - Elaine L. Drabek, 75, of Britt, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at her home in Britt.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Britt, with Father Marvin Bries officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Duncan.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ewing Funeral Chapel in Britt, with a Catholic Workmen Rosary recited at 7 p.m. and a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. There will be further visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Elaine, the daughter of Tony and Helen Carman was born Nov. 2, 1924 in Mason City. She attended and graduated from Mason City schools. Following graduation, she worked for Western Union in Clinton, Mo. and Hutchinson, Kan. at which time she met Tomy.

Tomy and Elaine were married Oct. 18, 1945 in Hutchinson, Kan. Shortly after they made their home in Britt and remained for their 54 years of marriage.

Elaine was a loving mother, wife and friend. Following the raising of their three children, she was employed at Winnebago Industries (Stitchcraft) in Forest City until her retirement in 1987.

Elaine was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Britt and Catholic Workman Branch #51 of Duncan.

She enjoyed a good book, soft music, crocheting and excursions with her lady friends.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Tomy, of Britt; son, Donald and his wife, Robbie, of Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Pamela and her husband, Steve Burger, of Kennewick, Wash.; three grandchildren, Tony and Jennifer, of Sumner, and Sarah of Kennewick, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Renee.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Vance E. Shipman, 52, of 1360 89th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, Fla, died Tuesday, (Feb. 29, 2000) at his home in Florida.

FRANK G. MARQUARD

CLEAR LAKE - Frank G. Marquard, 74, of 409 S. 8th St. in Clear Lake, died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at Cedar Valley Hospice Unit in Waterloo.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St. Clear Lake, with the Rev. Kermit Roisen, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will greet friends a half-hour before the service.

Memorials may be directed to the Frank G. Marquard Memorial fund.

Frank was born April 26, 1925 in Mason City, the son of Frank H. and Dorothy (Carstens) Marquard. He grew up in Clear Lake and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1943. Frank entered the United States Navy and served as a Seebee Carpenters Mate, Second Class. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Clear Lake and was united in marriage to Bonneda Dietrich on May 22, 1950 in Ventura. Frank worked with his father as a painter. After joining the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trade, he traveled the state doing commercial painting. He and his wife owned and operated the Lake Park Tap and Grill from 1974 - 1976 and Frank continued to paint until 1989.

Frank continued to live in the north central Iowa area where he enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching sports on television, and having coffee with his sister, Donna. He was a member of the International

Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trade.

Frank is survived by his four children, Lara D. Schilling of Clear Lake, Lane D. Stark and her husband, Don, of Cedar Falls, Kevin A. Marquard and his wife, Stephanie, of Kingwood, Texas, and Kenny A. Marquard and his wife, Debbi, of Rockwell, one sister, Donna Scheibel and her husband, Kenneth, of Clear Lake, one brother Roger L. Marquard and his wife, Mary, of Mascotte, Fla., and 12 grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1982, an infant daughter, Lynn Marquard, and one brother, Bob Marquard.

BRITT - Jennie Boekelman, 90, of Britt, died Wednesday (March 1, 2000) at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. William H. Breen officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt and continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Church.

BANCROFT - Oda Dudding, 98, of Bancroft, died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

ROSE MARY HILDEBRAND

GREENE - Funeral services for Rose Mary Hildebrand, 80, of 206 S. Fourth St. in Greene, will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene, with Pastor Lance Kittleson officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Reid's Funeral Chapel in Greene, where there will be a public Scripture service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Rose Mary Van Benschoten was born Oct. 27, 1919 in Titonka, a daughter of the Rev. Alfred Quaiff and Dolly Ellen Van Benschoten and died Sunday (Feb. 27, 2000) at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas.

She received her education in several schools in the North Iowa area and graduated from the Marble Rock High School in 1937. As a young lady, she was employed by Dr. L. S. Wentworth and worked as a housekeeper for families in Marble Rock.

On Dec. 27, 1938 she was united in marriage to Gerald Carlyle Hildebrand at the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Burlington. They farmed in the rural Greene area for 47 years until they moved into Greene in 1985. For the past 18 years, they have wintered in McAllen, Texas.

She was baptized Oct. 12, 1931 and confirmed a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene on March 18, 1945. She was a member of the St. Peter W.E.L.C.A. While living in Texas they attended Our Saviors Lutheran Church in McAllen.

Rose Mary provided for her family through her tending to the eggs on the farm, canning, cooking and sewing. Her family and friends benefited from the 100 afghans she made and the cross-stitch designs that she created. For many years, she kept a diary of her and her families activities. She was a former member of the Chat-a-While Club and was a 4-H leader and county 4-H committee member for many years.

Living family members include two daughters and their spouses, Judith Ann and Larry Blum of Cedar Rapids, Sharlene Ruth and David Salas, of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Bernard and his wife, Barbara, of Royal Oak, Mich.; five grandchildren, Joel and his wife, Abbe Blum, Heather and her husband, Greg Blum-Pastor, Daniel Stock, Cheryl Michaud, and Ethan Hildebrand; three stepgrandchildren, John David and his wife, Veronica Salas, Samuel Salas, and Sonya Salas; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Van Benschoten, of Hueytown, Ala.; and one brother, Vincent Van Benschoten, of Surprise, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, the Rev. Alfred Van Benschoten and Ethan Van Benschoten.

LONE ROCK - Ralph Hammerstrom, 83, of Lone Rock, died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Rock, with Dr. Marcia Rich, C.L.P. officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Township Cemetery in Bancroft.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at United Presbyterian Church in Lone Rock.

JOYCE J. JENSEN

LAKE PARK - Joyce J. Jensen, 72, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) at her home in Lake Park.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 1, at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Park with the Rev. Donna L. Gray and the Rev. Kenneth MacLeod officiating. Interment was at Silver Lake Cemetery, Lake Park.

Joyce Jessie Jensen was born Feb. 12, 1928, to Herman and Elizabeth (Sell) Wunder on a farm near Lake Park. She received her education at Lake Park schools and graduated from Lake Park High School in 1945.

On Sept. 5, 1948, she married Richard Jensen at Lake Park and five children were born to this union.

Joyce was an active lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church. She received an honorary membership from the UPW. She taught Sunday school and served as a church elder. She was also a 50-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary having served as a past president and was a 4-H leader for 11 years.

Joyce loved gardening, flowers and sewing. She tied and sewed quilts for members of her family. She also enjoyed stamp collecting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed her family very much.

In their retirement Joyce and Dick enjoyed traveling and visiting family.

Joyce faced her illness calmly and with much courage and faith. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Dick, of Lake Park; three sons, Jack and his wife, Patty, of Fort Collins, Colo., Allan of Westminister, Colo., and Colin and his wife, Mary Jo, of Sibley; two daughters, Roxann and her husband, Jeff, of Mason City, and Carol of Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Jamie, Angela, Curtis, Benjamin, Tyler and Kayla; and two great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Bayleigh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Rachael; and a brother, Dennis.

WILLIAM 'BILL' MCELROY

MASON CITY - William "Bill" McElroy, 80, of 929 N. Harrison Ave., died Monday (Feb. 28, 2000) at the USA Healthcare.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 E. State St., with the Rev. Paul Finger officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. There will be further visitation one hour prior to services today at the church.

Memorials may be given to the William "Bill" McElroy Memorial Fund.

Bill was born Oct. 5, 1919 in Mason City, the son of Lincoln and Leva (Akeson) McElroy. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1941-45 helping land troops at Omaha Beach during the Normandy Invasion.

He married Ida Grifhorst on Nov. 12, 1944 in Chicago, Ill. Bill was a Mason City Police Officer for 34 years, retiring in 1980.

He was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Bill is survived by his wife, Ida, of Mason City; three children, Susan Skille and her husband, Donald, of Long Beach, Calif., David McElroy and his wife, Patti, of Champlin, Minn. and Doug McElroy, of Mason City; grandchildren, Steve Skille, Heather Doughty and Kevin McElroy; and one sister, Dorothy Wike, of Mason City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

ROGER L. WHIPPLE

MASON CITY - Roger L. Whipple, 71, of 632 Eighth St. N.E., died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave. with the Rev. Kenneth Hatland officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a flag folding ceremony conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa.

Roger was born Nov. 24, 1928 in Mason City, the son of Leighton "Jack" and Ruth (Nelson) Whipple. Roger was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. He graduated from Mason City High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II after the occupation of Japan.

Roger married Coleen Pardun on Aug. 19, 1978 in Mason City.

Roger was office manager-accountant for many years at Volkswagon of Mason City retiring in 1993. Before his health failed, he was an avid golfer and bowler.

Roger was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, V.F.W. and Mended Hearts.

Roger is survived by his wife, Coleen, of Mason City; children, Jody Roan and her husband, Henry, of Shreveport, La., Anne Roberts and her husband, Gene, of Mason City, Jeanne King and her husband, Doug, of Atlanta, Ga., Lynn Whipple, of Elmhurst, Ill., David Whipple and his wife, Christine, of Mason City, John Whipple, of Mason City, and Steven Whipple and his wife, Jaylene, of Mason City; stepchildren, Paula Pardun and Ken Clough, of Bloomington, Minn., Lee Ann "Pixie" Ziesman and her husband, Terry, of Algona, Phil Pardun and his wife, Tammy, of Bloomington, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Newman and her husband, Don, of Phoenix, Ariz., Shirley Johnson, of Overland Park, Kan., and Elaine Torgeson, of Ames; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, George and Caroline Scheppler; brother-in-law, David Torgeson; and one grandson.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. - Don L. Champlin, 75, formerly of Clarion, died Feb. 20, 2000 in Springdale, Ark.

Memorial services were held on Feb. 22, 2000 at the Backstrom-Pycatte Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale, Ark.


FRANK SHEIMO

FERTILE - Frank Sheimo, 71, of Fertile died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fertile Lutheran Church in Fertile, with the Rev. Roger Kampstra officiating. Burial will be in Brush Point Cemetery in rural Fertile.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark St. in Forest City.

Frank M. Sheimo was born on the family farm in Worth County near Fertile, on June 19, 1928, the son of Henry and Ellen (Hovland) Sheimo. He was baptized and confirmed at Fertile Lutheran Church and received his education in Fertile, graduating from Fertile High School in 1947.

He worked at Citizens Savings Bank in Hanlontown before he began farming.

On March 25, 1950, he married Shirley Gilbertson at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City. He farmed until 1981 when he began working for the Petersen Funeral Home in Forest City.

In 1985, he began working for Hogan Bremer in Mason City and continued there until failing health forced his retirement in 1999.

He was a big Hawkeye fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sports as they grew up.

Frank is survived by his wife, Shirley Sheimo, of Fertile; two daughters, Deb Haugen and her husband, Dave, of Sheldon and Bonnie Hall and her husband, Michael, of Omaha, Neb.; a son and his wife, Kevin and Jill Sheimo, of Forest City; two sisters-in-law, Ardis Sheimo, of Fertile and Mayvis Sheimo, of Mason City; seven grandchildren, Ben Haugen and wife, Connie, of Sandstone, Minn., Andy Haugen, of Perry, Jackie Hall, of Omaha, Neb., Jodi Alt and husband, Arthur, of Omaha, Neb. and Tony, Sally and Bailey Sheimo, of Forest City and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Keith, Harold and Richard Sheimo.

ALICE VELMA ANDERSON
CLEAR LAKE - Alice Velma Anderson, 84, of Clear Lake, died Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 North 4th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Rising Sun Cemetery in Des Moines.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or the Clear Lake Christian Church.
Velma was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Des Moines, the daughter of Reason Porter and Alice Mabel (Murrow) Shivers. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines.
She was united in marriage to Russell Anderson on Sept. 22, 1934, at the Rising Sun Church in Des Moines. Velma was a homemaker until 1950, when she and Russell bought and ran the Thrifty Market Grocery Store in West Des Moines. They sold the store in 1962 and later moved to Ames, where Velma watched her grandchildren on almost a full-time basis.
They moved to Clear Lake in 1984, and in 1990, after Russell's death, Velma moved to California. She returned to Clear Lake in 1995, where she was a member of the Clear Lake Christian Church and the Christian Church Women's Circle. Velma also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed quilting for her family and the church.
Velma is survived by her two sons, Dale Anderson and his wife, Diane, of Clinton, Wash. and Larry Anderson and his wife, Sharon, of Clear Lake; one sister, Dorothy Person, of Des Moines; four grandchildren, Kimberly Miller and her husband, Dan, of Minnetonka, Minn., Scott Anderson and his wife, Kristin, of Mountain View, Calif., Lance Anderson and his wife, Julie, of Clear Lake, and Lundy Anderson and his fiancée, Sheila Vala, of Fairfield; and one great-grandson, Joseph Miller.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, three brothers, and one daughter-in-law.

RICHFIELD, Minn. - Douglas E. Snyder, 52, of Richfield, formerly of Mason City, passed away on Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000).
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, at the Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S. in Richfield. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Douglas was born on Oct. 7, 1947, in Mason City, a son of William and Ruth (Waller) Snyder. He was raised in Mason City. He was proud to have served three tours in Vietnam in the U.S. Navy.
Douglas is survived by his children, Kimberly (Robert) Trapp, of Forest Lake, Minn., Jason (Trudi) Snyder, of Blaine, Minn., and Julianne (Bill) Smith, of Richfield, Minn.; their mother, Eileen (John) Wiseman; grandchildren, Kyle and Rachael, Douglas and Kassondra and Lauren and Sara; parents, William "Vic" and Ruth Snyder, of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; one sister, Sharon (Eugene Sr.) Lotts; one brother, William (Sue) Snyder II; nieces, Heather (Greg) Cooper and Kristine (Mark) Johnson; nephews, Eugene (Julie) Lotts Jr., Scott Lotts, Garth (Karen) Lotts and William Snyder III; great-niece, Anna; great-nephews, Ian and Zach; his childhood friend, Johnnie "Sam" (Linda) Crawford; and his cat, Spuds.

Jennie Bertha Marie Boekelman, the daughter of George and Engeleina (Alke) Meyer, was born March 30, 1909, on a farm near Titonka. She attended school in the Wesley and Titonka area.
On March 18, 1936, she was united in marriage to Heyo Ubbe Boekelman at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka. They lived in Titonka, where they were in business. In 1953, they moved to Britt, where they farmed until Heyo's death in 1974.
In 1975, Jennie moved into Britt, where she worked at the Westview Care Center. Due to ill health, she moved to the Westview Care Center in September of 1993.
She enjoyed her family, baking, cooking and church work.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, where she served as past president of FLCW and taught Sunday school. She also was a member of the Britt Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her two sons, Harold Boekelman and his wife, Maxine, of Britt and George Boekelman and his wife, Doris, of Britt; five grandchildren, Ramona Jacobson and her husband, Michael and their children, Jennifer, Marcus, Megan and Benjamin, Paul Boekelman and his wife, Amy, Sandy Boekelman, Michael Boekelman and his wife, Kim, and their children, Tana and Ty and Susan Boekelman; and a sister-in-law, Annie Meyer, of Osceola, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Heyo; parents; an infant sister; two brothers, John and Christian Meyer; and three sisters, Vollina Redenius, Julia Folkerts and Martha Fuls.

EDNA B. BEYER
SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Edna B. Beyer, 87, of San Pedro, Calif., formerly of Mason City, died Friday (Feb. 25, 2000) at San Pedro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. in Mason City, with the Rev. Douglas Anderson of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.
Visitation was held on Thursday and will continue today until time of services at Major Erickson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the Edna B. Beyer Memorial Fund.
Edna Beyer was born Dec. 17, 1912, the eighth of 10 children born to Henry and Maude (Spickerman) Beyer on a farm west of Manly. She graduated from Manly High School and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.
She served as a nurse in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. After her discharge from the service, she continued her education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. Edna then worked as a surgical supervisor and teacher at Mercy Hospital in Mason City.
In 1957, Edna moved to San Pedro and worked at Little Company of Mary Hospital until retiring in 1976.
She was a member of the American Legion and had been an active member of the First United Methodist Church in San Pedro.
She is survived by her sisters, Marian Farrell, of Mason City and Helen Christiansen, of Mason City; sisters-n-law, Mary Beyer, of Mason City and Selma Beyer, of Northwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Berniece A. Letts was born Sept. 17, 1905, in Montrose, Kan., the daughter of Walter E. and Matilda E. (Manion) Tippin. When she was 15, her family moved to Mason City, where she graduated from high school.
On Oct. 4, 1925, Berniece was united in marriage to Francis H. Letts at the First Christian Church in Mason City.
Berniece was a member of First Christian Church, the Soup Club and B.P.W. She was also a hostess for the Welcome Wagon. She made and sold her very own salad dressing, "Bea's Dressing." She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards and bingo.
Berniece will be missed by her family, which includes three daughters, JoAnn Bergen and her husband, Vern, Belvidere, Ill., Jean Payne and her husband, Lowell, Mason City, and Judy Price and her husband, Jack, Ankeny; six grandchildren, Vicki Trieloff and her husband, Todd, Belvidere, Ill., Don Price and his wife, Jill, Ankeny, Connie Stille and her husband, Glen, Clear Lake, Jack Price and his wife, Brenda, Indianola, Lynn Anker and her husband, Richard, Lynden, Wash., and Diane Hammer and her husband, Rob, Des Moines; one step-granddaughter, Carmen Lapkiewicz and her husband, Rick, Virginia Beach, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 step great-grandchildren.

Larry Ben Berding was born Aug. 23, 1940, on the family farm in Mason City, the son of John Bernard and Alberta Carrie (Everhart) Berding. He attended schools in Rockwell and Grafton.
On Sept. 24, 1961, Larry was united in marriage to Elaine Barloon in Mason City.
Larry took great pride in his work. He owned and operated L. B. Berding Construction for many years until starting Southside Furniture with his brother Bud nearly 10 years ago.
Larry was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and Elks Lodge No. 375. He enjoyed fishing trips to Leech Lake in Minnesota two times a year. Larry collected toy John Deere tractors and restored classic cars.
He liked making unique items with his hands and was known as a practical joker who liked getting people to laugh. He especially liked spending time with his grandsons and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife, Elaine, Mason City; a son, Larry (Skeeter) Berding Jr. and his wife, Lynne, Mason City; a daughter, Linda Inman and her husband, Steve, Mason City and their sons, Andrew and Mitchell; six brothers, Herman "Bud" and Purdy, LeRoy and Carolyn, Benny and Muriel, Roger and Sharon, Johnny and Marge, and Darrell "Butch" and Carol, all of Mason City; five sisters, Darlene Adams, Hayward, Minn., LaVonne Blackmer and Dean, Mason City, Bonnie Reyerson and Harold, Alden, Minn., Shirley Berding, Mason City, and Lorraine Sailor and Craig, Albert Lea, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.

Lillie Corrine Fredrickson was born on Dec. 11, 1907, near Osage, to Oscar and Karine Brendon Olsen. Lillie was schooled in rural schools near Rock Creek and attended Osage High School.
She worked in Webster City and was married to Edward Fredrickson on Nov. 9, 1925, in Fort Dodge. The couple lived in Webster City and in various communities in Iowa before moving to Algona in the mid 1960s.
Lillie was a long-time member of First Lutheran Church in Algona, where she was a faithful worshiper and worker. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Lillie enjoyed politics.
She is survived by her daughter, Kneihl M. Miller and her husband, James, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son James W. Fredrickson and his wife, Lugenia, of Rockwell; eight grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward in November 1971; two brothers; and one sister.
