with Scriptural wake services at 7:30 p.m.

The family suggest memorials to the James D. Fink Sr. Memorial

Fund.

Jim was born Aug. 3, 1931, in Osage, the son of Dale and Mildred

(Flynn) Fink. He grew up and graduated from Orchard High School

in 1949. He played basketball and was involved in 4-H.

In 1951 he married Margaret Ann Barrett. They moved to Nora

Springs in 1952 and raised 10 children.

Over the years he worked long hours to support his family.

He worked for Anderson Produce, the Nora Springs Creamery, Rockford

Brick and Tile, Armour, David Manufacturing, and at various times,

he drove truck, coast-to-coast and

ly. Jim had just recently retired.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and

trapping. The Cedar River flows with memories of Jim and his

children and grandchildren. There together, they spent endless

hours fishing, camping, picnicking, building campfires and hunting.

He also always had a large garden.

His knowledge and experience is passed down in generations and

will be cherished by many. His spirit will be greatly missed

by loved ones who accepted him for his ways. The 10 children

and their families who are left behind are thankful for the closeness

of family and memories shared with their dad. We hold the notion

that he leaves us to walk along the Cedar, and he continues to

laugh, as his beloved grandchildren play pranks.

will be in Orchard Cemetery, Orchard.

Visitation was held after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

with Scriptural wake services at 7:30 p.m.
