Marlin G. Hopkey, 63, of Alexander, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 11, from 2-4:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 12, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton. Burial was in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Hampton.

Rev. Milton A. Eklund

July 14, 2010

Rev. Milton A. Eklund, 91, of Hampton, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 12, from 4-7:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 13, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton. Private family burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hampton Senior Center or Hospice of North Iowa.

Gerald Lynn Fredericks

Gerald Lynn Fredericks, 83, of Osage, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 9, from 5-8:00 p.m., at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Osage. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Thomas M. Clay

July 14, 2010

A memorial service for Thomas M. Clay, Lee's Summit, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 17, at the First Congregational Church in Marshalltown. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. before the service.

Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown. The Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue Springs, Missouri, is in charge of the arrangements.
