Visitation is planned for Wednesday, April 4, from 5-7:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, at 10:30 a.m., at the New Hope Methodist Church in Dumont. Burial will be in the Dumont Cemetery.

Mary Jo Paullus, 88, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

She and her husband, Joseph Clinton Paullus, were the former owners of the Hampton Tax Service.

Lorel Edward Winfrey, 67, of Hampton, died on Thursday, April 5, 2007, at the Franklin General Hospital, Hampton.

Visitation is planned for Friday, April 20, from 4-8:00 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m., at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Hampton. Burial will be in the Wayside Cemetery, Chapin.

Sharon Faith Groothuis, 65, of Kesley, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Maple Manor Village in Aplington.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 11, at the Kesley Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Hitesville Cemetery, rural Aplington. The Redman-Schwartz Funeral Chapel, Aplington, was in charge of the arrangements.

Donald Calvin Allbee

Donald Calvin Allbee, 93, a resident of the Dumont Wellness Center, died on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Family will greet friends on Saturday, April 14, from 12-2:00 p.m., at the Dumont Reformed Church in Dumont. There will be a celebration of life prayer at 1:00 p.m. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathryn Marie Hansen, 44, of Axtell, Nebraska, formerly of Hampton, died  on Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Bethphage Mission in Axtell, Nebraska.
