Clarence Blanchard, 92, of Hampton, died on Friday, August 5, 2005, at the Veteran's Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 8, at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ in Alden. Burial was in the Northlawn Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls. The Linn's Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Vernon Mallard Paulson, 93, of Muscatine, formerly of Harmony, Minnesota, Bull Shoals, Arkansas, Decorah and Hampton, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at the Muscatine Care Center.

There will be no services held at this time. Interment will be in the Carimona Cemetery, Carimona, Minnesota, with private services at a later date. The Jeffrey S. Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory, Muscatine, is in charge of the arrangements.
