JORDAN DOUGLAS MONTGOMERY

BENTON, Ark. - Jordan Douglas Montgomery, infant son of Mike and Lisa Montgomery, 2001 Robinwood, Benton, Ark. 72015, died Friday (Sept. 9, 1999).

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 11, at Ashby's Chapel, Benton, Ark., with the Rev. Andrew Toopes officiating. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery.

Ashby's Chapel, Benton, Ark. was in charge of arrangements.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Mike and Lisa Montgomery, of Benton, Ark.; two sisters, Jenifer and Juli Roberts, of Benton, Ark.; one brother, Michael Ray Montgomery, of Benton, Ark.; grandmother, Mary Montgomery, of Mason City; grandparents, Tom and Wanda Montgomery, of Alexander; and great-grandmother, Edith Abrahams, of Northwood. Other relatives include Lori Montgomery and Liz, of Mason City, Jim and Amy Felper, Jake and Nate, of Osage, and Tina Montgomery, of Cedar Rapids.

BRITT - Daisy Ellis, 93, of Britt, died Wednesday (Sept. 15, 1999) at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

MASON CITY - Myrtle Chaffee, 99, of Mason City, formerly of Santa Paula, Calif., died Wednesday (Sept. 15, 1999) at the Sunbridge Health Care Center.

RAYMOND T. HAUSER

GREENE - Raymond T. Hauser, 78, of Greene, died Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1999) at the Mercy Health Center-North Iowa, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heritage United Methodist Church in Waverly. Committal services will be held at 1 p.m. at Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

DOROTHY WILMA HANNA

ALGONA - Dorothy Wilma Hanna, 88, of Algona, died Monday (Sept. 13, 1999) at the Kossuth Regional Health Center, Algona.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Algona, with the Rev. Philip Webb and the Rev. Richard Iles officiating. Burial will be in the Burt Township Cemetery, Burt.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Algona.

VERA INGERSOLL

CHARLES CITY - Vera (Mrs. Lewis) Ingersoll, 81, of 407 18th Ave., died Wednesday (Sept. 15, 1999) at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Dianne Christopher officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

HARLAN D. STEFFENSEN

BUFFALO CENTER - Harlan D. Steffensen, 52, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, formerly of Buffalo Center, died Friday (Sept. 10, 1999) at a hospital in Coeur d'Alene.

Local memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Reformed Church, Buffalo Center, with Pastors Bill Peake and David Langer officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Olena Mound Cemetery, Buffalo Center.

Winter Funeral Home, Buffalo Center, is in charge of local arrangements.

Harlan Dean Steffensen, son of Cecil and Ruth (Edwards) Steffensen, was born Dec. 29, 1946, in Buffalo Center. He graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1965. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1965, served four years and was assigned to the USS Coral Sea CVA-43, an aircraft carrier.

Harlan worked at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Iowa, for a few years, then he moved to Loveland, Colo., and managed a convenience store. He attended Fort Collins Community College working as an accounting major.

He married Judy Steffensen on April 14, 1984, in Loveland, Colo.

Harlan was presently working at Inland Woods in Post Falls, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife Judy of Post Falls, Idaho; three sons, Larry and his wife, Kari Steffensen, of North Branch, Minn., Jerry Steffensen of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Chad Steffensen of Fridley, Minn.; one daughter, Robbieyn and her husband, Wayne Hunt, of Post Falls, Idaho; his father, Cecil and his wife, Iola Steffensen, of Buffalo Center; his mother, Ruth Steffensen, of Buffalo Center; four brothers, Denny and his wife Beverly of Forest City, Wayne, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Neil and his wife Roxanne of Thompson, and Darwin and his wife Linda of Racine, Wis.; two sisters, Gail Minetto, of East Chain, Minn., and Janet and her husband, John Lyman, of N. St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren, Brandon, Natali, Vittoria and Kyrstiabeth; and by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Zilpha Steffensen and Bert and Etta Edwards.

ORVILLE M. JOHNSON

ALBERT LEA, Minn. - Orville M. Johnson, 87, of 1128 St. John, Albert Lea, died Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1999) at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Chapel, with the Rev. Don Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

ARCHIE G. BLUNT

CHARLES CITY - Archie G. Blunt, 95, of 1207 "D" Street, died Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1999) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Dennis Niezwaag and the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, south of Charles City.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the family greeting friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

MICHAEL GERALD FURLEIGH

CLEAR LAKE - Michael Gerald Furleigh, 43, of 209 Sixth Ave. N., formerly of Oelwein, died Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1999) at Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein with the Rev. Frederick Fangmann officiating. The body was cremated and burial will be at a later date in Clear Lake.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, 309 First Ave. N.E., Oelwein.
