Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 7, at 11:00 a.m., at the Aredale United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene. The Fullerton Funeral Home of Mason City, was in charge of the arrangements.

Michael James "Mike" Purcell

Michael James "Mike" Purcell, 43, died on December 12, 2003, the result of an auto accident on North McVay Road.

He was born on February 14, 1960, in Iowa City and lived in McVay, Arizona for the past 23 years. He was the farm manager of the 1,200 acre Jojoba Tree Ranch of Purcell Jojoba International. Mike is survived by his mother, Marjorie Edgren of Monterey, California and his father, Hal Purcell of Avila Beach, California.
