Vicky always made everyone that came to visit feel welcomed and at ease. Vicky especially loved being a grandma and it showed on how she interact with her grandchildren; whether getting on her hands and knees to play whatever game when they were toddlers, taking her grandchildren to the park, school events, and to the swimming pool.

George and Vicky would go camping and fishing with family in Waterville, Minnesota They made many trips to Canada to go fishing, too. They enjoyed playing cards with the neighbors and had an annual soup meal at their house following the Christmas program at Elk Creek Lutheran Church. Where she got her energy we don’t know. There was never a time she wasn’t on the go and making people smile. She loved to walk with friends, family, and her favorite dog, Bear.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, George: sons, Darin (Janelle) and their children; DeeDee and Samantha; Jonathan (Sarah) and their children, Viola and Alexander; and daughter, Kimberly (Jennifer). Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Vada (Erling) Myli, Voni (Larry) Frisch; brother, Kurt (Lori) Proctor and their families; George’s family, Mary (Merle) Klinge, Hazel Erickson, James (Arlis) Dokken, Truman (Donna) Dokken, Donald (LaVonne) Dokken, Wilford (Karen) Dokken, Donna Dokken, Rueben Dokken, Juanita (Dutch) Bolinger and their families; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; one niece and one great nephew.
