Dennis Pastour
BELMOND
- Dennis Pastour, 69, a lifelong resident of the Belmond area, most
recently of Thornton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at
the Bethany Reformed Church in Belmond.
Friends may greet the family beginning at noon until the time of
services at the church. Family and friends are requested to wear casual
attire or western style clothing.
The Rev. Art Zewert of the Zion Reformed Church of Sheffield will be
officiating the service.
Interment will be held a later date at the Alexander Cemetery,
Alexander.
Dennis Pastour, the son of Henry and Allie (Pals) Pastour, was born Aug.
7, 1942, in Belmond. He was one of four children who was blessed in this
union, including Wayne, Norlene, Vernon and himself. He attended Belmond
Schools where he participated in various extra-curricular activities.
Dennis had been employed as a driver for North Iowa Co-op from May of
2004 and was with the co-op until his health issues forced him to
retire.
Dennis and his life and memory will live on in the hearts and minds of
his sister, Norlene (Larry) Main, Buffalo Center; his brother, Vernon
(Jane) Pastour, Mitchellville, Iowa; sister-in-law Susan (Roger)
Moeller; and his nieces and nephews and their families including, Ronald
(Amy) Main and their children, Carly and Colton; Randy (Monica) Main and
children, Sidney and Hannah; Renea (Dan) Mitchell and their children,
Mason, Braeden, Cooper; also his niece and Tracy Pastour and her
children Madison and Zane; nephew Chad (Tiffany) Pastour and children
Jenni and Wyatt.
Dennis was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents,
his brother Wayne 29, 1961, his father, Henry, and his mother, Allie.

Donald Berge Teig
BUFFALO CENTER -Donald Berge Teig was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Blue
Earth, Minn., to Ole and Martha (Berge) Teig. He was baptized and
confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He attended school in Blue Earth,
Minn. He married Lucille Mauss on March 8, 1945, at Liberty Lutheran
Church in Rake. They had two daughters, Linda Diane and Barbara Jane.
Lucille passed away on April 29, 1978.
On Jan. 5, 1980, Donald married Valborg Maland Haugen at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Wannamingo, Minn. They had many wonderful years
together, living between Wannamingo and Sun Lakes, Ariz. They enjoyed
traveling and visiting their combined families and many friends.
Donald passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at the age of 93 at The Seasons
Hospice in Rochester, Minn.
Donald is survived by his wife, Valborg; daughters, Linda (Randy) Buns
of Chandler, Ariz., and Barbara Brue of Waukee, Iowa; step-children,
Ginny (Stan) Karbowski of Shoreview, Minn., Cathy Faucher of Fridley,
Minn., Paul (Sue) Haugen of Lutsen, Minn., and Sheila (Doug) Gehring of
Waseca, Minn.; his grandchildren, Jason (Maggie) Buns, Heather (Ryan)
Attleson, Jeremy and Jonathon Brue, Anthony, Zachary and Malachi Haugen,
Nicholas and Natalie Faucher, Marit Karbowski and Spencer Broughten;
great-grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob Attleson, Chance and Sylvia Buns
and Maxim Haugen; brother, Wayne (Opal) Teig of Rake, Iowa; sister, Ruth
Edwards of Buffalo Center, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Edith Teig of Titonka,
Iowa, and Vivian Steinberg of Rochester, Minn.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Lucille,
two brothers and three sisters and his son-in-law, David Brue.
Donald will always be remembered for his sincerity, his love and concern
for others, his humor, his passion for life and unwavering faith in
Jesus Christ.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Trinity Lutheran
Church in Wannamingo, Minn.
Visitation was Thursday 5-7 p.m. at the church. A private family burial
will be Saturday at the West Cemetery in Rake.

Maurice Keith Trumbell
PAYSON,
Ariz. - Maurice Keith Trumbell, 80, formerly of Payson, died Saturday,
Nov. 5, 2011, in Lakewood, Colo.
He was born May 8, 1931, on a farm in Hancock County, Iowa. In 1957, he
was married to Darlene Jean Knapper in Miller Lutheran Church in Miller,
Iowa. They lived and farmed for 28 years, 2 miles northeast of Goodell,
Iowa, where they raised purebred, short-horn cattle. Mr. Trumbell was
affected by farm chemicals and had to quit farming and moved to Payson
in 1982. Mr. Trumbell was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Jayne (Michael) Hopkins of Cortez,
Colo.; son, Bradley (Janice) Trumbell of Centerville, Iowa; sister, Jean
Trumbell Hogard of Buffalo Center, Iowa; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at Messinger Funeral
Home, 901 S. Westerly Rd, Payson, Ariz.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Rock of
Ages Lutheran Church, 204 W. Airport Road in Payson. Interment will be
at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.

Robert C. Wisman
MASON
CITY - Robert C. Wisman, 30, of 20722 Poplar Ave., Mason City, died
Monday afternoon, Nov. 7, 2011, in Franklin County following a motor
vehicle accident on his way home from work.
Bob was born on Oct. 13, 1981, at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, with his
entire family present for his arrival. He was the son of Ted and Lynne
(Pearson) Wisman. He was a member of the graduating class of 2000 from
Mason City High School, and then attended NIACC. Later he moved to
Seattle where he continued his education at Bellevue Community College.
He worked in the telemarketing and media field for a short while until
he went to work for his brother-in-law Karl doing remodels and new home
construction.
Just prior to his mother's death in May 2010, he returned home to Mason
City where he has lived ever since. He worked as a machinist in
Sheffield and just this year began planning to open his own company,
Wisman Builders LLC.
He enjoyed shooting trap and skeet, bicycling, rock climbing and
anything to do with the outdoors. He was a good friend to many and
enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He always enjoyed traveling, especially his trips to the Caribbean last
January, Hawaii, Times Square in NYC on New Year's eve, and attending
Cardinals games. Bob read a lot and enjoyed gaming on the computer, was
a movie buff and was excellent at tinkering and figuring out how things
worked. Bob helped his dad with a labor of love building the log cabin
on his dad's property.
Bob had just recently become engaged to Selina Heilscov and had been in
the process of remodeling a farmhouse in Hampton where they were
planning on living. Bob had told many people recently how happy he was
with his life, and how he was looking forward to the best years of his
life. He died a happy and hopeful man.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Lynne Wisman.
Bob is survived by his father, Ted Wisman, and Ted's fiancee, Linda
Davis; his brother John (Allie) Wisman, Seattle, Wash.; his sister Holly
(Ken) Sagar, Des Moines; his sister Mary (Karl) Maiwald, Kent, Wash.;
and his fiancé, Selina Heilskov.; nieces and nephews, Nick (Larissa)
Mennen; Max, Jonathan, and Hayden Wisman; Jessie, Charlie, and Molly
Maiwald; and Celene (Paul) Bornhoft, Cari, Matt and John Sagar. Bob is
also survived by his great nephew and niece, Keaton and Khloe Mennen,
and many aunts and uncles; Nancy Gunther and Marsha Bailey, Camarillo
Calif., Frank and Nancy Pearson, Mason City, Ione and Dennis Barron,
North Mankato, Minn., and Carol and Ira Merritt, Huntsville Ala.; many
cousins and his dog, Benny, who will miss Bob greatly.
A gathering for family and friends will be from noon-3 p.m., Sunday,
Nov. 13, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City. At
3 p.m. a time of sharing will be held, and those attending are asked to
join with the family in recounting memories and stories of Bob.
Following this time of sharing, cookies and coffee will be served in the
fellowship area of the funeral home. Bob's body will be cremated prior
to services. Bob also donated his tissues to help others in need.
Those planning an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make
memorials to the Robert C. Wisman family.

Rose Adella Eau Claire was born on April 22, 1918, in Mason City, the
daughter of George and Regina (Thompson) Eau Claire. She attended Mason
City High School until she was needed to care for her mother at home.
On May 21, 1939, Rose was united in marriage to Harvey I. Boyd in Lake
Andes, S.D.; this union would be blessed with two daughters.
Rose was a lifelong caregiver and always displayed unconditional love;
she was the rock of her family. Rose loved to play cards, cribbage was
her favorite. She also enjoyed reading and sports. She was an avid Iowa
Hawkeye fan.
Rose was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Those grateful in sharing in Rose's life are her two daughters, Linda
(JoAnne Myers) Kavars, Kingston, N.Y. and Kathy (Bill) Gardner, Ankeny;
six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson;
her brother, Walter (Ruth) Eau Claire, Mason City; and her sister in
law, Edna Boyd, Rock Falls.

baptized at Saint Marys Hospital. Taryn may have been a little girl, but
she was full of beauty and fight. In her short time on earth she touched
many people and will always be remembered and loved by many.
Taryn is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Jill Budach and her
very proud, big sister, Makenzie Budach; her maternal grandparents, Fred
and Beth Nelson, all of Lake Mills; paternal grandfather Ken Budach and
Deb Giesking of Washington, Iowa; uncles and aunts, Rob Nelson and
Nicole Charlson of Scarville, Chris and Christine Budach, John Budach
all of Lake Mills; Craig and Lindsay Budach of Mason City; cousins,

Virginia Mullaney Gibbs
The
Woodlands, Texas - Virginia Mullaney Gibbs, age 98, of The Woodlands,
Montgomery County, Texas, a Mason City native and former longtime
resident, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 7:48 p.m., at home,
surrounded by her family, following a stroke several days earlier.
Always known as "Virginia", Jessie Virginia Mullaney was born on April
20, 1913, the third child of parents, John Day Mullaney and Jessie
Adaline Bollman.
She was united in marriage to Donald Henry Gibbs, son of Arthur Collins
Gibbs and Emma Terhufen, of Klemme, on April 18, 1936, at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church in Mason City.
Virginia attended St. Joseph's Catholic Elementary School, graduated
from Mason City High School in 1930, attended Mason City Junior College
until 1932, then attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas,
Texas, on a library scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts
in comparative literature in 1934. While at SMU, she worked in the SMU
Library and was active in Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
Virginia was employed as the head of the policy department by Iowa
Hardware Mutual Insurance Company, Mason City, from 1935 until 1943
(World War II), when her husband, Donald was drafted into the Navy, at
which time, Virginia traveled to Tacoma, Wash.; Toledo, Ohio; Dallas,
Texas, and San Diego, Calif., in order to be near her husband's military
bases, prior to his being deployed to the South Pacific.
She worked briefly for the war effort at both Autolight Assembly Line in
Toledo, Ohio, and Southern Aircraft in Dallas, Texas.
In 1956, after attending Mason City Junior College and Drake University,
Virginia completed a post-graduate degree in elementary school
education.
She taught in the Mason City Public Schools for 22 years, from
1956-1959, third grade at Lincoln Elementary School, then third and
fourth grades at Madison Elementary School from 1959 through her
retirement in June, 1978.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Dennis
Mullaney and John William (Bud) Mullaney; one sister, Evelyn Frances
Mullaney Gatewood (Mrs. James Raleigh Gatewood); her husband, Donald
Henry Gibbs; and one infant son, Donald Gibbs.
She is survived by her son, John A. Gibbs of Minneapolis, Minn.; her
daughter, Rosemary Culbertson (Mrs. Randall Culbertson); two
granddaughters, Debra Bailey (Mrs. Robert Bailey) and Lisa Sain (Mrs.
Jeff Sain); five great-grandchildren, Taylor Marie, Jake, Emily, Audrey
and Nate, all of The Woodlands, Texas. Survivors also include numerous
nieces and nephews, together with grand-nieces and grand- nephews.
Virginia was formerly a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church
in Mason City, and for the past six years, a member of St. Anthony of
Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
Throughout her life, Virginia, was very active in numerous clubs and
organizations in Mason City, including Questers, Daughters of the
America Revolution (DAR), North Central Iowa Genealogical Society,
Athenian Club, Joyce Kilmer Study Club, St. Catherine's Circle at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church, past treasurer of the Tabernacle Society of
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Panhellenic Club (NCARSPA), Lifetime
member of National Education Association (NEA) and ISEA, Gamma Phi Beta
Sorority, and private bridge clubs with friends in Clear Lake and Mason
City. She loved research, in particular genealogical research, and until
age 90, was an active volunteer at the Mason City Library's genealogy
department. Some of her research contributed greatly to the LDS Library
in Salt Lake City, as well as to individually published family
histories.
Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a
person always ready and willing to help others. She also enjoyed
reading, gardening, dancing, was an avid Iowa Hawkeye basketball and
football fan, loved playing cards, fishing, sewing, crocheting,
quilting, antiquing, birding, walking, and spending time with her family
and friends. She was truly a remarkable woman and will be missed by all

ANSGAR - Harvey M. Hanson, 68, of St. Ansgar, died Thursday, Nov. 10,
2011, in Waterloo, of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at First
Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Paul Weeg officiating. Burial
will be at Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Schroeder &
Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.
Harvey Mathias Hanson was born on April 7, 1943, in rural Worth county
to Carl and Thelma (Rohne) Hanson. He was the youngest of six children.
He attended rural country schools, Otranto Public School and Carpenter
High School, graduating in 1961. Harvey graduated from Waldorf College,
Forest City, in 1963 and from Iowa State University, Ames, in 1967 with
a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science.
For 19 years Harvey was employed by the Hormel Corporation as livestock
buyer in Ringsted and St. Ansgar. He resigned in 1985 to begin his own
buying and livestock-transportation business, aptly named Double H
Livestock, Ltd. He operated the business up until his death.
On September 17, 1966, Harvey married Gwenyth Hillman at the First
Lutheran Church in Northwood. They made their home in Austin, Minn.,
Ringsted, rural Grafton and St. Ansgar. They had three children, sons
Kevin and Cameron, and daughter Kathryn.
Harvey was an active member of First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar,
serving as a deacon and on the church council. He especially enjoyed
spending time with his grandchildren and driving semi. Harvey will also
be remembered for his baritone voice, singing solos in church, at
weddings and at funerals.
Living family members include his wife of 45 years, Gwenyth of St.
Ansgar; son Kevin Hanson and Stacy of Osage and their children Jenna,
Jayden and Joryn; son Cameron Hanson and his wife Stephanie of Charles
City and their two sons Carter and Brady; and daughter Kathryn Mills and
her husband Chad of Northwood and their two sons Tyler and Justin.
Survivors also include his siblings, Wayne (Mavis) Hanson of Mona, Craig
(Marilyn) Hanson of Northwood, Luther (Ila) Hanson of Des Moines, Sharon
(Robert) Gordon of Spirit Lake and Darlene Meling of Northfield, Minn.
He is also survived by a brother-in-law and his wife Wayne and Wanda
Hillman of Northwood, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-
nephews, and cousins.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Thelma Hanson; and
parents-in-law Harry and Evelyn (Sime) Hillman all of Northwood.

LAKE - Elizabeth "Betty" Kahl, 93, of Spirit Lake, formerly of Britt,
passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit
Lake, surrounded by her family and care center friends.
Funeral services for Betty Kahl will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.
16, at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center St. West, Britt, with Pastor Lee
Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the funeral home,
and will continue one hour prior to the service on Wedneday.
Betty had been living in Spirit Lake, but was a long time resident of
Britt, later Clear Lake, and Minnetonka, Minn.
Betty was born on June 13, 1918, in Wendelin, Ill. She later moved to
Britt with her parents, Chris and Sophia (Desch) Nix, her sisters and
her brothers. She attended schools in Britt and graduated from Britt
High School in 1936. She also attended Britt Junior College.
In 1938, she married Ervin Kahl from Britt. Together they made their
home and farmed in the Britt community for over 50 years. They were
members of First Lutheran Church in Britt, where Betty was a very active
member, and Galilean Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.
Betty lived her life showing us how to appreciate the inherent goodness
in everyone through her gentle, non-judgmental acceptance.
She worked hard and made sacrifices with grace and love. Betty and Ervin
were lifelong advocates for educating and enhancing community life for
people with developmental disabilities.
Betty gave beauty and joy to herself and others through her artistic
talents. She loved road trips, visiting brothers and sisters, dancing,
picnics, golfing, and playing dominos.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Karmon Amsler and husband John of
Okoboji, and Mona Jean Kahl of Spirit Lake; granddaughter Shonda Warner
of Clarksdale, Miss.; grandson Trenton Warner and Susan Stone and
great-granddaughter Ridley Stone Warner of Oakland, Calif. Betty is also
survived by her sisters, Geneva King, Mildred and Lyle Phillips;
brothers, Bill Nix, Chris and Dorothy Nix, all of Evansville, Ind.; and
many nieces and nephews from the Nix side of the family;
step-grandchildren, John and Mary Amsler of Austin, Texas, Greg and
Chell Amsler of Stevenson Ranch, Calif., and Paige and Mike Sampson of
Libertyville, Ill., and their families. She is also survived by niece
and nephews, Marsha Peterson and husband Paul of Britt, Gary Kahl and
wife Katie of Clear Lake, Bob Kahl and wife Lavonne of Florida, and
their families.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Ervin; son Lon; her parents
Chris and Sophia Nix; sister Mary Ann Higgens; and brothers, Morris,
Matt and John Nix, all of Oregon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Neil
and Lorraine Kahl of Britt.
Betty will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
sister.

- Rita D. Oehlert, 78, of Hampton, passed away Nov. 10, 2011, at the
Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Rita was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Hampton, to Clinton "Toon" Murphy and
Maye Addison. Rita graduated from Hampton High School and attended

On June 25, 1954, Rita was united in marriage to Ron Oehlert in Hampton.
She worked at home raising their children and also worked at Montgomery
Ward for several years. Ron and Rita enjoyed wintering in Las Vegas for
16 years during their retirement.
Rita was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ
where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship. She was a very active
member of the Hampton Senior Center, where she was a board member and a
volunteer. Rita delivered for meals to the shut-ins for many years for
the Senior Center and enjoyed helping elderly family members. She was a
devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her
family.
Rita is survived by her husband, Ron Oehlert; three children, Randy
(Lucy) Oehlert, Tim Oehlert and Zoe (Mel) Brown, all of Hampton; three
grandsons, Chad (Amy) Oehlert of Urbandale, Chris Oehlert of Sheffield
and Blake Brown of Hampton; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Kaelen
Oehlert of Urbandale; and a sister- in-law, Alice Mae Maassen of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant grandson;
mother-in-law, Edna Allinson; brother-in-law, Robert Oehlert; and
several aunts and uncles.

John Peter Salz was born on March 13, 1936, in Stacyville, the son of
John and Anne (Wiesbrock) Salz. John received his education in the
Stacyville and Osage Community School, graduating from Osage High
School. Throughout his career, John worked for IMI Cornelius, retiring
in 1995 due to ill health.
John enjoyed fishing, repairing rod and reels, camping, teasing his
grandchildren, loved to play cards with his family, and claimed he never
lost a game of solitaire
John was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Arlene Salz of Mason
City; his children, David (Linda) Salz of West Des Moines, Brian
(Laurie) Salz of Urbandale, Mark (Terry) Salz of Lakeville, Minn., and
Scott (Jacki) Salz of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Jason Salz and
special friend, Sarah Behrens, Heather (Kyle) Fine, Michael Salz, and
Thomas (Rachel) Salz, Karen Kolb, and Keith (Tina) Kolb; his

CITY - Richard "Dick" Young, age 67, of Charles City, died Saturday,
Nov. 12, 2011, in Hickory Hills Woods near Bassett.

Richard Glen Young was born Nov. 21, 1943, in Charles City, the son of
Glen and Eva (Roethler) Young. He received his education in Charles
City, graduating in 1962.
On Aug. 23, 1964, at First Congregational Church in Charles City, he was
united in marriage to Kay Perrin. To this union, two children were born.
Dick and Kay were lifelong residents of Charles City. He worked
construction for Bud Moltz, and started Young Construction, LTD., after
Bud's retirement. He owned and operated the company with his wife until
the time of his death.
Dick was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He captured many wildlife
photos on his trail cameras and loved sharing them with his friends and
family. He maintained a very large garden. The family spent many
weekends camping, having bonfires, fishing, and hunting in the woods.
Dick enjoyed ballroom dancing with Kay, performing magic tricks,
clowning, and listening to his favorite gospel musicians, The Gaithers
and Lynda Randle.
Living family members include his wife of 47 years, Kay; two children,
Brian (Heidi) Young of Ionia, Jill (Bill) Eckenrod of Waverly; four
grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Haley, and Trey; two sisters, Betty
Attleson of Rochester, Minn., Mary (Joe) Koenigsfeld of Dakota City,
Neb.; a brother, Bill (Shirley) Young of Gladbrook; a sister-in-law,
Julie Young of Oakland, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter in infancy,
Faith Eckenrod; and a brother, Don.

KLEMME - James M. Fosnaugh, 88, passed away Nov. 11, 2011, about 1
p.m. at the West View Care Center in Britt.
Funeral Services will be held at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of
Christ in Klemme, Wednesday Nov. 16, at 10:30 a.m. There will be a
visitation held one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Donna
Buckman will be officiating the service.
There will be a visitation held the night before on Tuesday (today) from
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Andrews Funeral Home 528 E. Main St. Klemme,
Iowa.
Jim was born on Jan. 8, 1923, to Edward and Anna Mae (Simerl) Fosnaugh
in Halbur. He attended country schools and finished the eighth grade in
Algona.
Jim worked for many farmers in the Algona area and in August of 1943 he
enlisted in the U.S.
Army
and was transferred to the Air Corps where he was an aerial gunner. He
was stationed at Kimbolton, England. During his tour, he flew 35 bombing
missions as a Ball Turret Gunner over German- occupied territory with
the 379th Bomb Group.
He returned to the States in January of 1945 and on Jan. 15, 1945, he
married Ruth Mannes of Thompson. This union was blessed with one son,
David James.
Jim was discharged from service at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las
Vegas, Nev., in October 1945 at the end of the war.
He and his wife returned to Iowa. Jim then resumed working for farmers.
In August of 1958, the family moved to Klemme, where they resided since.
He worked much of his life for Hancock County Oil and for Larson Oil
Company.
James is survived by his wife Ruth; son David and his wife peg (boyd)
Fosnaugh of Oak Harbor, Wash.; granddaughter Kelli Jo Terrill of Sedro
Woolley, Wash., and Terri Jo (Wallace)Forslof of Arlington, Wash.;
great- grandchildren Jacob Hummel, Joshua Terrill and David Forslof;
three sisters-in-law Jean Pearson of Klemme; Ethel Mannes of Lake Mills
and Zita Fosnaugh of Bancroft; also, many beloved nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Mae; four
brothers Gilbert, Wilbert, Albert (Joe) and Earnest; sisters Myrtle
Schaffer, Velma Waltman, Aarriet Foster and Stella Pratt;
step-great-grandson Mathew Terrill.

Duane Arnold Pigman was born Feb. 12, 1948, at Sioux City. He graduated

On June 21, 1975, he married Julie Gouge at St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Garner. They lived in Garner until moving to their home in Crystal Lake
in 1977.
Duane farmed the home farm located south of Crystal Lake, drove delivery
trucks, then worked at Winnebago Industries in Forest City for ten years
until health issues caused him to retire.
He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, motorcycles, horses and
participating in and going to rodeos. Duane also enjoyed doing things
with his grandkids and holiday family get-togethers.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Woden and the Odd
Fellows.
Duane is survived by his wife, Julie, of Crystal Lake, and their three
children, Justin Pigman of Crystal Lake, Renae (Ryan) Welhousen of
Titonka and Rhonda Pigman of Crystal Lake; two children from a previous
marriage, Rob Pigman of Lake Mills, and Sheila Michelson of Swea City;
grandchildren, Anthony, James, Kyle, Dalten, MacKenzie, Riley, Reese and
Rowan; his mother, Lois Bauer of Garner; and siblings, Hal (Cindy) Bauer
of Kanawha, Dallas Bauer of Garner, Connie Bauer of Garner, Janelle
