She

car
races,
bowling,
and
watching
football
on
television.

Quilters
Guild.
She
loved to
quilt
and
received
many
awards
for her
work.
Jeroldene
enjoyed
sewing
and
spending
time
with her
family,
especially
her six
grandchildren
and
eight
great-
grandchildren.

her

friends.

LAKE MILLS — Leighton L. Humphrey, 85, of Lake Mills, died Saturday (December 15, 2007) at Muse Norris Hospice Unit in Mason City.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 18) at the Lake Mills Evangelical Synod Church with Pastor Karl Hermanson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Mittelstadt Funeral Home in Lake Mills and again one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will take place at the Lake Mills Synod Cemetery with military honors performed by the Lake Mills Otto/Chose Post No. 235.
Leighton was born on Dec. 30, 1921, in Fertile, the son of Paul and Verna Lucille (Brown) Humphrey, at his grandparents’ (E. E. Brown) home. He graduated from Fertile High School.
Leighton married Gladys Peterson on Sept. 29, 1946, at the Lake Mills Evangelical Lutheran Church and they were married 61 years. He held various jobs early in his life and retired after several years as an employee of the State of Iowa.
He was an active member of his church, serving many years on the staff of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod “Lutheran Sentinel” publication and long-time member of the American Legion. Leighton was a proud World War II veteran and received the Bronze Star.
Leighton enjoyed several pastimes. He was an avid fisherman and took yearly fishing trips with family to Canada and northern Minnesota. He was a sports fan, especially of the Hawkeyes and Packers. He enjoyed family barbecues and Sunday dinners, gardening, reading, music, the daily cryptoquote and morning coffee with friends. Leighton enjoyed life, and especially being with family and friends.
Leighton is survived by his wife, Gladys; and three children: William (Karen) Humphrey of Lake Mills, James Humphrey of New Ulm, Minn., and Mary (Orlan) Lau of Lake Mills; thirteen grandchildren: Michelle, Chad, Derek, Chelsea, Matthew, Jessica, Megan, Stephanie, Nathan, Teresa, Rachael, Cory and Alex; nine great-grandchildren: Hannah, Drew, Connor, Noah, Macie, Jordyn, Hailey, Lucas, and William; two brothers, Robert (Karen) Humphrey of Clear Lake and Wayne (Janet) Humphrey of Deming, N.M.; and one sister, Cleo McKim of Mount Pleasant; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Miller of Lake Mills and one brother-in-law, Orvin (Lynn) Peterson of Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lucille Humphrey; son, Stephen Humphrey; grandson, Michael Humphrey; great-grandson, Spencer Humphrey; brother, Earl Humphrey and in-laws, Emil and Evelyn Peterson and Robert McKim.

Harold was born on Nov. 24, 1927, in Hampton. He was the son of Oscar and Nellie (Allinson) Ditch. Harold attended school in Sheffield and Hampton. He graduated from Hampton High School in 1945. He was a supervisor for Maytag for 33 years before retiring in 1981. Harold was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he was Deacon, a member of Benevolence Lodge No. 145 A.F. & A.M., and Mason City York Rite Bodies. He was a member of High Twelve and a former member of the El Kahir Shrine. He also did volunteer work for the RSVP. His favorite pastimes were woodworking and golf.
Harold is survived by his wife, Lois Ditch; 10 children and step-children: Alan Ditch and wife, Joette of Tucson, Ariz., Dean Ditch of Rocheport, Mo., Karen VanBlair and husband, Rick of Niceville, Fla., Jackie Stiles and husband, Mike of Rudd, John Redeker of Des Moines, Jean Creekmur and husband, Mark of Marshalltown, Julie Terlisner and husband, Kim of Mason City, Deb Johnson and husband, Jerry of Marshalltown, Michael Sieleman of Bath, Maine, and Jim Sieleman and wife, Cathy of Bettendorf; one nephew, Neil Ditch and wife, Denise of Hampton. Betty was born on Aug. 15, 1928, in Greene, the daughter of Archie and Cora (Skillen) Raymond. She received her education in Greene, and was valedictorian of her high school class. Betty was united in marriage to John Hayungs on Aug. 2, 1946, at the Lutheran Church in Greene, and to this union six children were born. They moved to the Rudd area in 1955. Betty worked cleaning houses, wallpapering, and painting.
Betty enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing cards and making crafts.
She was an active member in the Rudd United Methodist Church, was a board member, secretary, was on the historical committee, and in the Dorcus Circle. Betty’s family, friends, and church were very important to her.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Darrell and John Jr.; one daughter, Karen and one granddaughter, Lisa Courter, all of Rudd, as well as other extended family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2003; sons, David in 1996, Richard, in 1969; her daughter, Sharon in 1997; her parents; three sisters, Eileen, Alice, and Ruth; and a brother, Walter.

Monte Lee Wolf
BANCROFT — Monte Lee Wolf, passed away on Saturday (December 15, 2007) at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, at the age of 47, after a short battle with cancer.
Monte Lee Wolf was born on Jan. 19, 1960, in Estherville, son of George “Sonny” and Janice (Sanders) Wolf of Bancroft. He grew up in Bancroft where he attended St. John Catholic School.
Monte worked in various areas of construction, including D & W Construction. He also worked at Winnebago Industries and Barco. He lived on an acreage in Lakota, until he moved to Mason City, where he was employed by the Cerro Gordo County Fairgrounds as a groundskeeper and assisted in the stables, working with the show horses.
He enjoyed drawing, fishing, hunting, and always had a love for horses and the outdoors.
Monte is survived by his parents, George “Sonny” and Janice Wolf of Bancroft; two brothers, Steve Wolf of Burt, Tim Wolf of Oxford, Wis.; two sisters, Laura Simmons of Bancroft, Angie Blair of Bancroft; daughter, Michelle Spencer of Bancroft and two grandsons, Kevin Timothy Olson and Kevin Younger Olson. Also surviving are seven nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, Dec. 17, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Bancroft.

FOREST CITY — Peggy E. Wolters, 58, of Forest City, died Saturday (December 15, 2007) at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minn.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Forest City with Pastor Douglas Farrell officiating. Burial will be at Madison Township Cemetery in rural Forest City.

Peggy E. Wolters, the daughter of Fred and Jean (Wharton) Markham, was born at Franklin County Hospital in Hampton on Nov. 2, 1949. The family lived near Rowan, and then moved to a farm near Thornton, where she began her schooling. Peggy always said she attended the last one-room country school house in Iowa. She graduated from Clarion school when the family had moved to a farm near Lake Cornelia.
On Aug. 6, 1968, Peggy married Gary Lynn Wolters at Calvary Baptist Church in Belmond. They moved to an apartment in Ankeny and attended Faith Baptist Bible College. They became the parents of Lynn, Robert and Heidi. They lived in Des Moines and Polk City, and then moved to the farm near Crystal Lake.
Peggy was saved at an early age while staying with her aunt and uncle attending Vacation Bible School, and during her teen years, she was baptized by immersion. She enjoyed serving her Lord and was a faithful prayer warrior for her family and friends. Peggy was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Forest City through the years. She has faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, nursery and AWANA worker, deaconess, Mission circle officer, and State Ladies representative. She was a godly example to her family and friends.
Peggy loved to cook and share her goodies with everyone. She cooked at the Crystal Lake school for seven years. She was employed as the Director of Dietary Services at the Good Samaritan Center in Forest City for over 15 years.
Peggy is survived by her dear husband, Gary; children: Lynn and his wife, Shereen; Robert and his wife, Kasey; and Heidi Ann; grandchildren: Elliana Joy and Madeline Grace, daughters of Lynn and Shereen; and Katelyn Marie, daughter of Robert; mother, Jean Markham of Belmond; sisters Diane and husband, Ronald Kallal of Fieldon, Ill.; Suzanne Markham Kocurek of Stacy, Minn., mother-in-law, Violet Wolters of Belmond, special family friends often referred to as the “other family” Juern and Helen, Juern Thomas, Joanna (Avery), Joy and Job Akkermann; and many close relatives and friends.

CLEAR LAKE — Karen Margaret Caspersen, 91, went home to Heaven on Sunday (December 16, 2007) at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 21, at 1:30 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dean Hess officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 20, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel. Interment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Karen Margaret was born on Dec. 18, 1915, in Clear Lake to Anton and Anna (Holm) Andersen, both of who immigrated to America from Denmark. Margaret attended Clear Lake schools and graduated in 1934.
On Nov. 18, 1934, she married Victor Christian (Chris) Caspersen. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage before Chris died in 1993. Chris and Margaret farmed north of Clear Lake for many years raising crops and all kinds of farm animals. Margaret especially enjoyed her baby chicks, ducks and geese.
Margaret and Chris have one daughter, Karen JoAnne Bales, born on Oct. 19, 1936.
Margaret is survived by her daughter; her son-in-law, Robert L. Bales and their four children and their families, Dr. and Mrs. Jason B. (Lisa) Masters from Longwood, Fla., their daughters, Anissa and Kirstin Masters; Todd and Raquel Bales from Peoria, Ariz.; Troy and Julie Bales and their two sons, Jeffrey and Jonathan from Scottsdale, Ariz; Trent Bales from Coppell, Texas. She is also survived by two great-nieces, Kay Gutterman, San Diego, Calif. and Kim Gutterman, Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and special niece, Evelyn Gutterman and several aunts and uncles.
Margaret is a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She taught Sunday School for a few years when she was young.
Margaret has lived in Clear Lake all of her life except for spending summer time at their cottage on the Mississippi River near Marquette, and 21 winters in Harlingen, Texas.
Margaret was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining large Danish parties. She also loved her home, gardening and fishing. She is a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed very much.

Bert E. (Barney) Barnes
WESLACO, Texas — Bert E. (Barney) Barnes, 65, of Weslaco, Texas, died Monday (November 19, 2007) at the Audie Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, after a battle with cancer.
Bert Elwood Barnes was born on April 23, 1942, in Mallard, the son of Bernard and Vera (Roberts) Barnes. He attended school in Mallard and Clear Lake, Iowa, graduating from Clear Lake in 1960.
A celebration of Barney’s life and a military service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, beginning at 1 p.m. with a visitation immediately following until 4 p.m. at the Rockwell American Legion Post 208, 322 E Main St., in Rockwell.
Bert served in the United States Marine Corps at the El Toro Marine Corps Base in Santa Ana, Calif.
On Oct. 9, 1960, Bert married Velma K. (Val) Valley at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Bert then returned to Iowa and resided in Northwood where he was employed as a meat cutter with Fallgatters.
The family then moved to Plymouth while Bert was employed at Armour Co.
He was also an avid CB Radio enthusiast.
In 1974, Bert moved the family to Rockwell where he started his own business, Barney’s Custom Ag Service/Helicopter Spraying, thereafter helping his wife at Alpha Book and Gift Store, while also being a member of the Hanford Community Church.
Bert also operated Barney’s Cleaning Systems in Rockwell.
In 2001, Bert retired to Weslaco, Texas, where he enjoyed going to South Padre Island, fishing and spendingtime on the beach. He also loved traveling across the United States.
Bert is survived by his five children: Terri (Marty) Nowotny, Victor, Bob Barnes, Clear Lake, Rich Barnes (fiancee Tina Prince), Rockwell, Sabrina Burton, Collinsville, Ill., and Nikki Barnes, Rockwell; his grandchildren, Catey, Chris, Alex, Andrew, and Jon Nowotny; Marissa and Derrick Barnes; Dustin Barnes; Erin and Maddison Burton and Mitchell Barnes; one great-grandchild, Steven Nowotny; his siblings, Neva(Ed) Hamilton, Richard (Rose) Barnes, Loretta (Lanny) Barringer and Phyllis Schneider; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and special friend Ruth Colbert.

Svennug Randolph Hanson was born Sept. 27, 1912, in Worth County, Iowa, to Sam and Randi (Odegaard) Hanson. He was a lifetime member of Somber Lutheran Church where he was baptized, confirmed and married. Sven was an active member of Somber and served on various committees.
On Feb. 19, 1939, Sven was united in marriage with Avanel Harmon. To this union two children were born: Marilyn and Steven. Duaine Harmon, a nephew, became a brother and son to the family in 1946.
Sven farmed for several years in Worth County, and also worked for Winnebago Industries, did tool and die work and was employed by a vending machine company.
Sven is survived by his three children, Marilyn Brosdahl and her husband, James, of Parkersburg, Iowa, Steven Hanson and his wife, Sandy, of Byers, Colo., and Duaine Harmon and his wife, Ellyn, of Lake Mills. Also surviving are five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren: Kim Brosdahl of Independence, Iowa, and her children, Ashley and her friend, Emmett Sheehan of Des Moines, Brandon of Plymouth and Tanner of Prairie City; Ann and Steven Hersom and their children, Calvin, Carl and Maddie, of Fayettville, Ga.; Douglas and Rhonda Harmon and their children, Chalsea, Derek and Jerod, of Lake Mills; Donica and Douglas Arneson and their children, Samantha and Charlie, of Joice; and Steven Hanson Jr. of Texas; and a great-great granddaughter, Lila Rose Sheehan. Sven is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Elmer D. Harmon of Lake Mills and Marvin Harmon and his wife, Hazel, of Phoenix, Ariz.; along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Truman A. Julseth was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Worth County, a son of Cliff and Minnie (Brunsvold) Julseth. He was united in marriage to Lorraine M. Hackbart on Sept. 11, 1955, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton.
Truman was a 1939 graduate of Kensett High School, Kensett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Following his discharge, he returned to Kensett and drove truck for several years. He farmed west of Kensett for several years and later moved west of Northwood where he farmed until moving to Northwood.
Truman especially enjoyed raising cattle and horses. He was a member of Elk Creek Lutheran Church, and the Worth County Cattleman’s Association.
Truman is survived by his brother, Connie Julseth, Northwood; sister, Thelma Gaarder, Sibley; sisters in-law, Neva Julseth, Northwood, and Lois Julseth, Kensett; brother in-law, Roger (Lucille) Hackbart, Golden Valley, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Orville, Alvin and Richard; and his wife, Lorraine.

Margaret was born June 4, 1929, near Thompson in Winnebago County, Iowa, to Henry and Anna C. (Gardner) Klein. She attended schools in Thompson and Clear Lake, graduating from Clear Lake High School in 1947. She attended the first Girls’ State in Iowa in 1946. She was the secretary in the Stillman and Goranson Law offices in Clear Lake for five years before her marriage to Charles F. Wellen on April 19, 1952, at St. Patrick’s Church, Clear Lake.
Margaret was a full-time wife and mother as well as a volunteer for her church and community. She was interested in family history as well as local history and enjoyed helping others research their ancestry.
Margaret is survived by her sisters, J. Rosa Fleming of Mason City, B. Elizabeth Casey of Terre Haute, Ind.; three daughters: Mary (Ralph) Madison of Mason City, Patricia (Thomas) Schmidt of Garner and Maureen (James) Arndt of Blairstown, Iowa; a son, Daniel (Katrina) of Missouri; seven grandchildren: Joshua Penney of Mason City, Eddie, Dustin, Joseph and Katie Schmidt of Garner, Stephanie and Sarah Wellen of Missouri; two sisters-in-law: Doris Klein of Clear Lake and Jean Wellen of Humboldt; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who died April 7, 1995; parents; sister, Mary (Marie) McClintock; and two brothers, Leo, and John Joseph Klein who was killed in action in World War II on Dec. 25, 1944.

PLYMOUTH — Brandon J. Ciavarelli, 21, of 311 College St., died Tuesday (Dec. 18, 2007) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave. in Mason City, with the Rev. Jim Stiles officiating. Burial will be in the Somber Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in rural Lake Mills.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City.

Brandon James Ciavarelli was born on July 10, 1986, at Mason City, the son of Randy Ciavarelli and Kim Brosdahl. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake and was confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Parkersburg.
Brandon attended Aplington-Parkersburg schools where he participated in wrestling, golf, football and basketball. He later attended North Central Manly High School where he participated in golf, basketball and was the quarterback of the football team. Brandon graduated from North Central Manly with the class of 2005.
Brandon’s first job was waiting tables at his grandparent’s Victorian House in Parkersburg. Currently. he was working with his father at Pro Wall and also working at Buffalo Wild Wings in Mason City.
Brandon loved golfing, hunting, fishing, hanging out with his buddies, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and Sunday dinners at grandma and grandpa’s.
Brandon will be remembered as being a wonderful and loving, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to all he touched.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Randy (Kristin) Ciavarelli of Mason City; his mother, Kim Brosdahl of Independence; his siblings, Ashley Ciavarelli of Des Moines, Tanner Nelson of Des Moines, and Sophia and Ava Ciavarelli both of Mason City; paternal grandparents, Tony (Joan) Ciavarelli of Plymouth; maternal grandparents, Jim (Marilyn) Brosdahl of Parkersburg; his aunt, Ann (Steve) Hersom of Fayetteville, Ga.; two uncles, Alan (Sharlisa) Ciavarelli of Plymouth, and Steve (Linde) Ciavarelli of Albert Lea; a special little niece, Lila Rose, as well as many other relatives and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Alvina Brosdahl; and Sven and Avanel Hanson; and his paternal great-grandparents, Joe and Nora Einertson.

BELMOND — Ina M. Smith, 92, of Belmond, died Monday (Dec. 17, 2007) at the Belmond Health Care Center in Belmond.
Funeral services for Ina Smith will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond with Pastor Troy Pflibsen officiating. Burial will be in Belmond Cemetery.

Ina Myrtle Smith, the daughter of Alvis and Tillie (Severson) Berhow, was born Sept. 27, 1915, at the farm east of Kanawha. She was baptized at West Lake Lutheran Church as an infant and was confirmed in Kanawha Lutheran Church on June 16, 1929. She graduated from the eighth grade on June 12, 1929, and attended Kanawha High School for one year. She then worked in numerous homes of neighbors and others as a homemaker’s helper.
She was united in marriage to William Smith on April 12, 1935, at Garner. They were blessed with five children, Richard, Roger, Sharon, Nancy and Alvie. Ina was a devoted mother who enjoyed her family and being a homemaker. She was a person who had to be busy; she worked at Hildman’s Variety Store for three years and worked for P&G Grocery for a time. She then was receptionist for Dr. W.W. Weisbrad for 16 years. It was a rewarding, important part of her life; she retired on Sept. 27, 1977.
She and Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with their family. Ina was very active in her church, working in many organizations and projects. She enjoyed quilting and looked forward to helping with church quilts every fall. She was a member of Pearl Circle and ELCW many years.
Ina leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sharon and husband, Larry McMurray, of Ackley, and Nancy Schimp of Belmond; three daughters-in-law, Carol, Ellen and Shirley; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Orpha and her husband, Clifford Trees, of Riverside, Calif., Ardith Mickelson of Klemme, and Thelma Boller of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; one brother, Mike Berhow and wife, Arlene, of Belmond; sister-in-law, Lucille Berhow of Kanawha, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; sons, Richard, Roger and Alvie; sisters: Viola Duffrens, Delores Johnson, Marlys Schwichtenberg and Alva Davis; an infant brother, Alvis Berhow Jr.; brother LeRoy “Bud” Berhow; step-grandson, Rodney Smith; and son-in-law, Larry Schimp.

KASSON, Minn. — Mary Bzoskie, 64, of Kasson, Minn., died at her home Monday (Dec. 17, 2007) after a short battle with cancer.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Kasson, with the Rev. Paul Surprenant officiating. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Kasson, in the spring.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 20, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Kasson, and an hour before the service at the church. There will be no reviewal.

Mary Frances Hohn was born April 9, 1943, in Des Moines, and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in St. Ansgar, Iowa. After high school she attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester and worked as a licensed practical nurse at St. Marys Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, from 1963 until her retirement in April 2005. On Aug. 28, 1965, she married Robert “Butch” Bzoskie at St. Ansgar Catholic Church. The couple lived and raised their two children in Kasson, where she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Mary enjoyed spending time camping with her family at the “back farm,” traveling to different flea markets looking for those unique collections, visiting various casinos, supporting her family members at their many sporting events, and shopping with her best friend. But most of her enjoyment came from spending time with her five beautiful grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband; son, Jim (Rachel) Bzoskie; daughter, Deborah (Tim) O’Connor, and five grandchildren, Mikayla, Chase, Keagan, Hunter and Addison, all of Kasson, Minn.; her mother, Rita Hohn, St. Ansgar; two sisters, Elaine Warner of Byron, Minn., and Marlene (Dennis) Lippitt of Big Lake, Minn.; two brothers, Gerald Hohn of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Dennis (Dawn) Hohn of Ankeny; many aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend, Sylvia Diekman, and her family, Kasson, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Almond Hohn, and special friend and sister-in-law, Sue Hohn.

Karen A. Mahlstedt was born Feb. 2, 1948, in Charles City, daughter of Kenneth and Charlotte (Runyan) Fods. She attended school in Clarksville.
She was united in marriage to Larry King of Charles City in 1965. She worked various positions until attending Cedar Falls School of Beauty and graduating in 1976. Upon completion she worked at the Golden Touch Beauty Salon and then opened her own salon, PHD (Personalized Hair Design).
In 1993, she was united in marriage to Gary Mahlstedt. They resided in Mason City until Gary’s passing. While living in Mason City she worked as a home health aide for Cerro Gordo County. Karen moved to Greeneville, Tenn., to be around her family and friends and to enjoy her future years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid pet lover. She also enjoyed camping with her family, fishing with her grandchildren, country music concerts and going out to dinner with her friends.
Karen is survived by her first husband, Larry King; children, Jeff King and wife, Chris, and Mike King; step-daughters and stepson, Toni Trujello and husband, Ed, Tammy Hello and husband, Mitch, Terry Mahlstedt and wife, Kris, honorary daughter, Michelle Winters and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren and honorary grandchildren, Nathan, Lydia, Callie, Tyler, Cody, Samantha, Nick, Christopher, Cassandra, Stina, Chris, Shay, Brett, Will, Rumy, Joe, Little Eddy, Donovan, Lane, Mackenzie, Raynee and Colton; two step-brothers, Jim Pierce and wife Patty and Norman Pierce and wife Doreen.
