These
obituaries are our very early work at
preparing obituaries for the internet. These
obituaries may or may not be as they
appeared in the Mason City Globe Gazette.
Obituaries often repeated two, three and
sometimes even more times in subsequent
editions of the Globe Gazette. Each printing
reflected a correction or change someone
felt was necessary. PAF-Ways founding
president Kermit Kittleson invested a labor
of love during this early period combining
multiple obituaries to read as one. He did a
good and faithful job. The date used should
not necessarily be considered the
publication date but should be considered
"circa" or about the time the obituary
appeared.
