Kenneth E.
Lashbrook
January 2, 2008
Kenneth E. Lashbrook, age 90, of Osage, died on Tuesday,
January 1, 2008, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care
Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday,
January 5, at the United Church of Christ in Osage, with
Rev. Dennis Hanson and Rev. Steven J. Lashbrook officiating.
Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery, with military honors
at the grave by the Osage American Legion Post 278.
Visitation is from 5-7:00 p.m., on Friday, at the
Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage and will continue one
hour before the services at the church.
Kenneth was born on June
27, 1917 at Osage, the son of G. O. and Nettie Mae (Millard)
Lashbrook. Kenneth attended school in Osage and graduated in
1934. He attended one year of college at Waldorf in Forest
City. Kenneth married Mildred Jorgensen on August 18, 1940,
in Riceville.
He worked at his father's drug store until 1943 and then
enlisted in the Navy as a pharmacist mate. He was discharged
on Christmas Day in 1945 and returned to Osage, where he was
employed by the Osage Post Office until retiring as
Postmaster in 1979.
Kenneth was active in the Congregational Church, acting as
treasurer for 23 years and as church custodian for five
years. He was very active in Kiwanis and the American
Legion. He was kept busy for many years doing woodworking,
attending senior citizens, delivering Meals on Wheels and
was always reading.
Kenneth is survived by his
wife, Mildred Lashbrook of Osage; a daughter, Ann (Ed)
Latham of Duncombe; two sons, Kenneth G. (Marcia) Lashbrook
of Cedar Rapids and Rev. Steven J. (Laurie) Lashbrook of
Manistee, Michigan; eight grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; a sister, Bethel Durby of Cedar Falls;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; a brother, Dean; and a granddaughter Kelly
Ann Pilcher.

Frederick "Nick" Pitzen
January 2, 2008
Frederick Nicholas Pitzen,
age 68, of Stacyville, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at
the home of his brother, Steve in Adams, Minnesota,
following a short battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on
Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Visitation Catholic Church
in Stacyville, with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will
be in the Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Stacyville, with
military honors at the grave by the Stacyville American
Legion Post 569. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m., on
Thursday, at the Visitation Catholic Church, where there
will be a Forester's rosary at 7:30 p.m.
He was born on August 4,
1939 in Stacyville, Iowa, the third son of Sylvester and
Dorothy (Coan) Pitzen. He graduated from the Visitation High
School in 1957 and attended Loras College for two years
before entering the U.S. Army for another two years. He
worked for Hatten and Sons Plumbing and Heating before
becoming part owner and operator of the Stacyville LP Gas
Company. He later became the sole owner and operator of the
company. He also owned land and raised Murray Grey cattle
east of town.
Nick was active in many community and church activities. He
served his community in many capacities as mayor, long term
council member, Community Club officer and club member. He
also served as a member of the Visitation Church Board of
Directors. Nick was a lifetime baseball and sports
enthusiast. He was an active player and proud sponsor of
many area baseball and softball teams, as well as a racing
team and a bowling team. He was a member of the Catholic
Order of Foresters and Stacyville American Legion Post 569.
Nick played an active role in the planning and development
of local public affairs. He was an unsung hero to many who
knew him and will be greatly missed by family, friends, and
business associates.
Survivors include two
brothers, Tom Pitzen of Stacyville and Steve (Diane) Pitzen
of Adams, Minnesota; a sister, Mary Ellen (Gary) McGlashing
of Cedar Rapids; eleven nieces and nephews, Brian, Kathy,
Greg, Joanna and Andrea Pitzen of San Diego, California,
Kent (Wendy) Pitzen of Clear Lake, Sarah (Jim) (Pitzen)
Douty of Adams, Minnesota, Janel Pitzen of Owatonna,
Minnesota, Brad (Tammy) Pitzen of River Falls, Wisconsin and
Jenny (Brad) (McGlashing) Johnson and Tim McGlashing of
Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; and a brother, Capt. John R. Pitzen, U.S.N.

Eleanor Boerjan
January 4, 2008
Eleanor Frieda Elise Boerjan, 90, died on
Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Society in
St. Ansgar.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 5, at 10:30
a.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. Burial
was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Eleanor Boerjan, was born
on July 21, 1917, the daughter of Reinhold and Martha
(Dietrich) Bublitz. She was baptized and confirmed into the
Lutheran Faith. Eleanor was united in marriage on November
19, 1936 to Henry Boerjan. The couple was blessed with five
children.
Eleanor and Henry spent a
lot of years farming and she was a devoted wife in helping
him on the farm. When Henry retired, they decided to go to
Arkansas to live for the winter. They came back in the
summer to live in St. Ansgar and did a lot of traveling
together in their mobile home with their son, H. Allen and
Virginia.
On May 21, 1986 Henry
died, so Eleanor sold the home in Arkansas and came back to
live in St. Ansgar.
Eleanor had a rug loom and
made rag rugs. She made 1,372 for her family and friends.
People would call her to make them some. She loved to bake
bread and her Angel food cakes from scratch. She also
knitted, crocheted, and made lots of quilts. She always kept
busy doing the things she liked to do.
She went to the nursing
home to help feed residents, and one day decided she wanted
to be a CNA. (Certified Nursing Assistant) She completed a
75 hour course at the Good Samaritan Society in St. Ansgar
at the age of 78. Before she did this she had 18 years of
housekeeping there.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Henry; parents, Martha and Reinhold Bublitz;
brothers, Harvey, Wilmer, Arnold and Lawrence Bublitz.
We will cherish her memory
of everything she has done in her life with us. This
includes Henry Allen, Jr. and Virginia Boerjan of St.
Ansgar, Larry Eugene and Lola Boerjan of St. Ansgar, Jerry
Lee and Gaila Boerjan of Elma, Arkansas, LaVonne Marie
Severson of Mountainburg, Arkansas and Yvonne Marie and Ivan
Woods of St. Ansgar. Eleanor had 20 grandchildren; many
great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

James O. Francis
January 8, 2008
James "Jim" O. Francis, age 56, of Preston, Iowa, passed
away on Friday, January 4, 2008, at his home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, January
7, at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston,
Iowa. Reverend Gregory Geier officiated. A second funeral
service was held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, January 8, at
the First United Methodist Church in Osage, with Rev. Dr.
Samuel Subramanian officiating. Memorials may be given to
the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jim's memory.
Jim was born on October 2,
1951 in Riceville, Iowa, the son of Gerald and Zella (Fritcher)
Francis. Jim attended the Osage High School, graduating in
1971 and also later graduated from the Lincoln Technical
Institute in Des Moines. Jim married Connie Arterberry on
July 8, 1978 in Osage and they later divorced.
Jim was employed by the
Jackson County Secondary Road Commission for 23 years, and
did mechanic work on the side. Jim was an avid motorcyclist
and enjoyed attending tractor pulls. Jim will be dearly
missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by one
daughter, Corey Francis of Maquoketa; one son, Fred Francis
of Maquoketa; his parents, Gerald and Zella Francis of
Osage; four brothers, Gary (Barbara) Francis of Osage,
Herbert (Claire) Francis of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kenneth
(fiancée, Shea) Francis of Cedar Rapids and Robert Francis
of Perry, South Dakota; one sister, Colleen (Mike) Counsell
of Gainesville, Florida; one nephew; and two nieces.
Jim was preceded in death
by one brother, David Francis.

January 8, 2008
Lena (Lampman) Ahrens, age 97, of Osage, died on Saturday,
January 5, 2008, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, January
8, at the Eden Presbyterian Church, Rudd, with Rev. John
Bates officiating. Burial was in the Eden Presbyterian
Cemetery.
Lena is survived by twin
sons, Donell Ahrens and wife, Pat of Mason City and Berdell
Ahrens and wife, Wave of Rudd; two daughters, Vonda Lee
Schmidt and husband, Richard of Lodi, Wisconsin and Dorothy
Lesch and husband, James of Brentwood, Tennessee; nine
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

Howard Carson Hveem
January 22, 2008
Howard Carson Hveem, 65, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died on
Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the Sartori Memorial Hospital
in Cedar Falls, of heart complications.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Feb.
9, from 1-4:00 p.m., at the AMVETS Post 49, Cedar Falls. The
Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is
assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be given to a
charity of your choice in Howard's name.
Howard was born on
February 8, 1942 in Osage, Iowa, to Hans and Joyce Hveem. He
graduated from the Osage High School in 1960 and joined the
US Army. He worked in New York City and farmed in Mitchell
County before working in sales for Bearing Distributors Inc.
in Waterloo, prior to his retirement in 2000.
Howard was a member of the
Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls and the Cedar Falls
AMVETS.
Survivors include his
sister, Marcia D. (William) Dedic of Waterloo; and a
brother, Gary N. (Francis) Hveem of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
His parents; and a niece,
Stephanie preceded him in death.

Mary Lou Kisner

Mary Lou Kisner, age 70,
of Osage, died on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at the Faith
Home in Osage.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday,
January 21, 2008, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Osage, with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial was in the
Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.
Mary Lou was born on
January 5, 1938, on a farm west of Plymouth, the daughter of
Claud and Cecelia (Dixon) Kisner. She attended school in
Orchard and Osage. For the past several years, Mary Lou has
resided at the Mitchell County Care Facility near Osage.
Memorials may be given to the Mitchell County Care Facility,
Osage.
Mary Lou is survived by 10
nieces, 10 nephews and their families; two sisters-in-law,
Elizabeth Kisner, Mitchell and Shirley Newhouse of Osage.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; three brothers, Clint Kisner, Ray Kisner and
Tim Kisner and wife, Marce.

Ruth Hannam
January 22, 2008
Ruth Hannam, age 88, of Osage, died on Friday, January 18,
2008, at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings,
Minnesota.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday,
January 22, 2008, at the Christian and Missionary Alliance
Church in Osage, with Rev. Steven M. Kellett and Rev. Rick
Magstadt officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Ruth was born on August
15, 1919 near Osage, the daughter of Lewis and Ellen
(Nelson) Myrtle. Ruth taught in rural schools in the Osage
area. She married Robert Hannam on January 2, 1945 in Osage.
They lived in Osage all of their married life. Robert died
on November 27, 1990.
Ruth was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
Church, and was one of the founding families of the church.
She was also a member of the Cedar Valley Retired School
Personnel.
Ruth is survived by two
daughters, Carol (Bob) Chapman of St. Paul Park, Minnesota
and children, DeeAnn, Perry and Brad; Jean (Dan) Kringle of
Cottage Grove, Minnesota and children, Laura, Amy and
Austin; two sons, Philip Hannam of Bloomington, Minnesota
and children, Marissa, Joelle and Christiana; Dean (Diana)
Hannam of Houston, Texas and children, Jeffrey and Jason;
seven great-grandchildren, Josiah, Elliana, Hope, Peyton,
Kinsley, Camille and Scarlett.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband, Robert; a sister, Grace
Gilbert; a brother, Owen Myrtle; and a daughter-in-law,
Claudelle Hannam.

Bradley "Bundy"
Blake
January 22, 2008
Bradley Joseph Blake, age 40, of Stacyville, died on Sunday,
January 20, 2008, of injuries he received in a snowmobile
accident near Stacyville.
Funeral services will be held at at 11:00 a.m., on
Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at the Sacred Heart Oratory in
Meyer, with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in
the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meyer. Visitation is from
4-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the Sacred Heart Oratory in
Meyer, with a scripture wake service at 4:30 p.m. Visitation
will continue one hour before the services at the church.
Brad was born on August
18, 1967 at Osage, Iowa, the son of Larry and Joanne (Olson)
Blake. He graduated from the Osage High School in 1986. Brad
was a farmer and self-employed grain trucker. He enjoyed
camping, hunting, car racing, and especially enjoyed
spending time with his family.
Brad is survived by his
life partner, Nancy Wontorski of Stacyville; two sons,
Corben and Billy at home; two daughters, Miranda and Erin
Houdek; his parents, Larry and Joanne Blake of Stacyville;
two sisters, LuAnn (Jerry) Miller of Pine Island, Minnesota
and Sheila Blake of Rochester, Minnesota; two brothers, Jim
Blake of Stacyville and Curt (Jill) Blake of Indianola; his
paternal grandmother, Theresa Blake of Stacyville; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his paternal grandfather, Corbin Blake; and his maternal
grandparents, Richard and Armeda Olson.

Lynn Merrill
Cameron
February 6, 2008
Lynn Merrill Cameron, departed this life on Tuesday, January
22, 2008, in the Magnolia Square Nursing Home in
Springfield, Missouri, following a short illness. He was 76
years, 3 months, and 4 days of age.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 26, at 1:00
p.m., in the First Baptist Church, Mountain Grove, Missouri,
with Rev. Gene Edwards officiating. Song selections were "In
The Garden," "Don't Cry for Me" and "His Eye Is On The
Sparrow." Pallbearers were Jeremy Cameron, Brad Millikan,
David Cameron, Bart Andrews, Todd Barry and Steve White.
Burial was in the Mountain Valley Cemetery, under the
direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove,
Missouri.
Lynn Merrill Cameron, son
of the late Lenard Samuel and Gertrude (Jergensen) Cameron,
was born on October 18, 1931 in Goldfield, Iowa. Lynn grew
up between Goldfield and Clarion, Iowa and graduated from
high school in Osage, Iowa. He was united in marriage to
Jocelyn White on March 3, 1951 in Bricelyn, Minnesota. Five
children were born to this union. They had made their home
on Moore Road near Mountain Grove, Missouri for over 36
years.
Lynn was employed as a
plumber and pipe fitter for over 45 years. He enjoyed being
outdoors, especially when tending to his beef cattle, horses
and dogs. He also liked to do woodworking projects.
He was saved around 1950
while attending a Billy Graham crusade and was a member of
the First Baptist Church in Mountain Grove for many years.
He enjoyed attending services and visiting with his church
family.
Lynn was a very loving and
kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather,
brother, friend and neighbor. He will be truly missed by
those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he
was preceded in death by an infant brother, Neal Cameron.
He is survived by his
loving wife of 57 years, Jocelyn Cameron of their home; one
son, Jeff Cameron and his wife, Melanie of Pearland, Texas;
four daughters, Julie Andrews and her husband, Bart of
Rogersville, Missouri, Lisa Millikan and her husband, Rusty
of Wichita, Kansas, Carol Johnston and her husband, Matt of
Springfield, Missouri and Laurie Barry and her husband, Todd
of Greenfield, Missouri; one brother, Gary Cameron and his
wife, Kim of White Plains, Virginia; two sisters, Beverly
Counsell of Cresco, Iowa and Cheryl Whalen and her husband,
Dr. John Whalen of Dubuque, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and
friends.

Thomas W. Foth

Thomas W. Foth, age 81, of Osage, died on Wednesday, January
23, 2008, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in
Osage.

Tom was born on November
11, 1926 in Bancroft, Iowa, the son of Tony and Adelaide
(Becker) Foth. Tom graduated from the St. John's High School
in Bancroft in 1944. He served in the United States Air
Force in Germany during World War II. After his military
service, he attended the University of Iowa, where he
graduated with a business degree. Tom met Darlene Rae Fox on
a blind date arranged by mutual friends. On Thanksgiving
Day, November 27, 1947, they were united in marriage at the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage.
Tom made his living in the Plumbing and Heating business in
Osage until his retirement in 1990. In his lifetime, Tom
served as President of the Chamber of Commerce and of the
Sunny Brae Golf and Country Club. He was a member of the
American Legion and the V.F.W. Tom's passion was golf. He
loved the challenge of playing various courses with his
golfing buddies.
Tom will be greatly missed
by his family. His nine children are, Christine Betts and
her husband, Ron of Osage, Russell Foth and his wife, Julie
of Cedar Falls, Marge Markham and her husband, Richard of
Osage, Michael Foth and his wife, Lisa of Hawaii, Frederick
Foth of Osage, Lawrence Foth and his wife, Julie of Osage,
Ginger Thompson and her husband, Dennis of Osage, Jane Foth
of Osage and Anthony Foth and his wife, Audra of
Minneapolis; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren;
one sister-in-law, Helen Lynch of Coralville; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, Darlene; his parents; and one brother, Robert
Foth.

Clarence Bruggeman
January 29, 2008
Clarence Bruggeman, 95, passed away on Wednesday, January
23, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Care Center.
Funeral services were held at the St. Peter Lutheran Church,
Toeterville, Iowa on Saturday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m.
Burial was in the church cemetery following the service.
Clarence William Bruggeman,
was born on January 27, 1912 in Mitchell County. He attended
grade school in Toeterville, Iowa and was confirmed at the
St. Peter Lutheran Church. On February 26, 1938, he married
Alvina LaVonne Adams. They farmed one mile east of
Toeterville and then moved a mile north of Toeterville. In
1945 they purchased a farm 2 miles north of Toeterville and
lived there until 1971, then built a home in St. Ansgar
where Alvina still resides.
He became a resident at
the Good Samaritan Center in April of 2007 and really
enjoyed and appreciated the loving care he received.
Clarence was a life-long
member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, served as a
Brotherhood President and was a church councilman and helped
to build the new church in 1967.
He enjoyed farming, draft
horses, tending his vegetable and flower gardens, fishing,
family gathering and especially being with his grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. He and Alvina spent many enjoyable
hours making windmills and many other wood crafts. He will
be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; and two brothers, August and Lawrence.
Clarence is survived by
his wife, Alvina; son, Eldon and wife, Anita; daughters,
Lorraine Kofoot and husband, Leo and Donna Finstuen and
husband, Paul; six grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.

Gloria Rice
January 29, 2008
Gloria D. Rice, age 81, of Osage, died on Friday, January
25, 2008, at the Mitchell County Health Center Emergency
Room in Osage.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, January
28, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with Rev.
Steven M. Kellet and Rev. Monte Follis officiating. Burial
was in the Osage Cemetery.
Gloria was born on June
17, 1926 at Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of David and Ada
(Griffin) Parr. She graduated from the McIntire High School
in 1943. After her graduation, she moved to California to be
with her parents. Following the end of the war, she returned
to Osage.
Gloria was employed at the Parr's Wallpaper and Paint Store
in Osage. She married Dr. C.D. Rice on February 18, 1951, at
the Baptist Church in McIntire. Gloria was a member of the
First Baptist Church, and for many years attended the
Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, both in Osage.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband, Dr. C.D. Rice in 2001; and two
brothers, Charles Parr and Douglas Parr.
Gloria is survived by a
daughter, Debbie Farkas of Osage, and her children, Rachel
(Adam) Garms of Iowa City and Amy Farkas of Denver,
Colorado; a son, David (Linda) Rice of Osage, and their
children, Katie Rice of Osage and Jason Rice of Plymouth;
and two nephews, Gene and Stu Parr.

Vernice L. Knapp
February 6, 2008
Vernice L. Knapp, age 95, of Little
Cedar, died on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at the Osage
Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday,
February 9, at the Little Cedar United Methodist Church in
Little Cedar, with Rev. Peter Chang officiating. Inurnment
will be in the Little Cedar Cemetery at a later date. There
will be a time of fellowship following the memorial services
at the church.
Vernice
was born on October 8, 1912 at Winston, Kentucky, the
daughter of Andrew Price and Addie (Turpin) Williams.
Vernice started attending school in Little Cedar in the
third grade and graduated from the Little Cedar High School.
She was married to Kenneth Knapp on June 20, 1936, at the
Baptist Church in Osage, by Rev. Tiffany.
Vernice was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed singing and
music. She played accordion in local dance bands and played
on the Little Cedar Women's Baseball Team as a pitcher and a
third baseman during her early adult years. She was also a
provider of room and board for local teachers.
Vernice was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star and
the Mitchell County Women's Chorus. She was baptized in the
Baptist faith and was a member of the Little Cedar United
Methodist Church in her adult and married life. She was a
member of the Women's Society of Christian Service.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Knapp in 1997; brother,
Claude; sister, Mary Elizabeth Lockie; and an infant
brother, Henry.
Vernice
is survived by a daughter, Peggy Jacobson of Osage; son,
Richard Knapp of Cedar Rapids; three granddaughters, Dawn

Doris Ione Grundel
January 29, 2008
Doris Ione Grundel, 86, of St. Ansgar, died on Monday,
January 28, 2008, at the Mitchell County Regional Health
Center, Osage.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, at 1:30
p.m., at the United Methodist Church, St. Ansgar, with Rev.
Peter Chang officiating. Burial will be in the Woodbury
Cemetery, rural Lyle, Minnesota. Visitation will be on
Thursday, from 5-7:00 p.m., at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral
Home, St. Ansgar, and one hour prior to the service at the
church.
Doris was born on November
23, 1921 near Floodwood, Minnesota, the daughter of Glenn
Foy and Velma Ione (Garrett) Chapin. She was baptized and
confirmed in the Methodist faith. She attended the Plymouth
High School, Plymouth, Iowa, graduating in 1936, where she
loved to play basketball.
Doris married George
Grundel on January 30, 1943 in Plymouth, Iowa at the home of
her parents. They farmed in the Nora Springs and Carpenter
areas, with Doris being an active part of the farming
operation. She taught Sunday School for many years and was
president of the Women's Group at the Otranto Community
Church. She enjoyed playing cards, yatzee, dancing and was
an excellent cook. Doris loved children which was reflected
in the babysitting of grandchildren and neighborhood
children. She entered the Good Samaritan Center in St.
Ansgar in July of 2007.
Doris was preceded in
death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Chapin and his wife,
Pauline; brother-in-law, Roland Grundel and his wife, Pearl;
and twin great-grandsons, Alex and Ryan Baardseth.
She is survived by her
husband, George of St. Ansgar; two sons, Dennis (Marjorie)
Grundel of St. Ansgar and Jerry (special friend, Susan
Tanner) Grundel of St. Ansgar; two grandchildren, Deborah
Baardseth of Buffalo, Minnesota and Robert Grundel of
Brownsdale, Minnesota; two great-grandchildren, Ashton and
Ellie Baardseth.

Keith Allyn Penney
February 19, 2008
Keith Allyn Penney, 83, of Wichita Falls, Texas and formerly
of Osage, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.
He was born on April 12,
1924 in Osage, to Lynn and Vera (Torney) Penney. He
graduated from the Osage High School and then served in the
United States Navy, retiring from the Civil Service at the
Sheppard Air Force Base.
