Violet G. Trulson, 90

January 23, 2002

Violet G. Trulson, 90, of Britt, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2002, at the Westview Care Center, in Britt.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 18, at 1:30 p.m., at the First Lutheran Church in Britt, with Pastor John Meyer officiating.

Violet is survived by two sons, David of Britt and Richard and his wife, Pat of Britt; three grandchildren, Jennifer Gebhart and her husband, J.R. of Ankeny, Chad Trulson of Huntsville, Texas and Chris Trulson of Kerrville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lena Harringa, 99

January 23, 2002

Lena Harringa, 99, of Britt, died on Friday, January 18, 2002, at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 21, at 1:30 p.m., at the Britt Christian Reformed Church, with Rev. Steve Mulder officiating.

Lena is survived by all six of her children, Magdalene Penning and her husband, Robert of Algona, Leona Peters and her husband, Harry of Britt, Clarence Harringa and his wife, Marge of Britt, Deloris Eekhoff and her husband, Harlan of Britt, Shirley Ruter and her husband, Byron of Kanawha and Roger and his wife, Gail of Clear Lake; one sister, Tressie Beenken of Buffalo Center; a sister-in-law, Francis Bruns of Britt; and a brother-in-law, Ed Stohr of Garner.

Ida Mae Brock, 82

January 23, 2002

Ida Mae Bock, 82, of Klemme, died on Friday, January 18, 2002, at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 21, at 10:30 a.m., at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme, with Pastor Donna Buckman officiating. Music was provided by organist, Diane Stadtlander who accompanied soloist, Lance Arnold. Ushers were Richard Baack and Terry Woiwood.

Casket bearers were Andrew Jones, Eric Daniel, Mike Carlson, Justin Rule, Jay Duncan and Verlyn Kaduce. Interment was in the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme. The Cataldo Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ida Mae is survived by her four children, Jim Bock and his wife, Barbara of Fairmont, Minnesota, Joyce Lee and her husband, Dennis of Dayton, Ohio, Jo Duncan and her husband, Royle of Alden and Jean McBreen and her husband, Steven of Ames; eight grandchildren, Laura Bock-Carlson, Susan Bock, Michelle Daniel, Anne Jones, Bethany and Jay Duncan and Justin and Blakely Rule; two great-grandchildren, Eleanor Jones and Harper Daniel; a sister, Margaret Meyer and her husband, Ervin of Latimer; a brother, Harry Bessman of Iowa Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
